Oh my word. Came to Grange, anticipating pies and mash, local beers and so on and so forth. I got the above and more. I just ate the best Filipino food since I was in the Philippines. Pork adobo. Out of this world. Pork Bicol express. Blimey. We actually stopped for coffee at 10am and came back for dinner because of the smell. Absolutely world class Filipino cuisine and don’t even have a second thought about it. Seriously wow. Great food (cafe cuisine or otherwise) great coffee and wonderful, wonderful staff. Fantastic. Oh and loads of gluten free and dairy free options!

We come to Grange to visit family regularly and we always pop in here for coffee and cakes , ever since kids declared their luxury hot chocolate the best ever about 10 years ago. We always have a lovely time - staff are incredibly friendly and kind. It is a café - not a restaurant. So on the one hand you won't get silver service with your meals - on the other they'll be fine about you bunging your own tables together. Really must try the Filipino meals one of these times.

We found here by accident when we were out walking our dogs. We sat outside admiring the view and drank a beautiful coffee. The best was yet to come though… the food! We were going to order a toastie but after seeing the menu we went for the chicken curry and the stir fry. They were AMAZING. So tasty and the best meal out we have had in a long time. I wish I could describe the flavours in more detail. You must visit. Our only regret was that we didn’t have room for pudding afterwards. Thank you for a beautifully freshly made tasty meal

Lovely spot, friendly staff but very disappointed with the food. Bacon sandwich was £8 and 2 slices of slightly toasted bread with bacon. I work in the trade so I know the cost of things including overheads but this was definitely not worth the cost. The coffees were lukewarm and the salad with the cold sandwich was pitiful. May try again if out in this area but only as a last resort.

We have been here before, and it's well situated, so we stopped off again. It's got a good area to lock your bikes away. We found a table, lots of tables for two, three people came in and struggled to find enough seating for all of them. Staff didn't offer to put the tables together, and they left. We ordered a pot of tea for two, a tuna toastie and a caramelised onion and cheese toastie. Everything arrived in good time, a large tea pot. The toastie arrived with a token gesture of a salad, afew peppers, and cucumber! The tuna toastie should have been named mayo with tuna as it was lacking tuna, and the mayo wasn't even mixed into the tuna. I did complain after I'd eaten half, and I was shocked by the lack of filling. It was brought back slightly better. It cost £21 which I feel is quite expensive. Apart from the food, it's a lovely place with great views.

Only get to come here rarely when visiting family, but I would have breakfast here every day if I could! Our order (three breakfasts and an egg bap, plus drinks) arrived really quickly and was absolutely delicious. Not everywhere includes fried bread in their breakfasts these days, but it's my second favourite (and least healthy) thing (bacon is best, obviously). Lovely owner and waitress.

We were travelling home from our lake district holiday and visited Grange over Sands on the way. We enjoyed the walk along the promenade and decided to eat our evening meal before we went home. We hadn't banked on everywhere being booked up as it was busy but on searching we came across this little gem! It's a Filipino restaurant with a balcony overlooking Morecambe bay. We had super friendly service and the chicken curry dish (can't remember it's proper name) we had was exceptional. The only thing I would change would be the coffee but only a minor problem. We watched the sun go down and then walked down to the promenade car park below to make our journey home. A perfect end to a perfect holiday. The staff and surroundings were lovely.

Visited based on the reviews that it had received, have to say I'm baffled. Maybe we should have tried the Philippine menu selection as it may have faired better, menu confusing and what we had was overpriced, cold drinks especially pricey. Food was greasy and generally unpleasant. Wasps inside and out, no escaping them despite table move. Tomato ketchup in a heinz bottle but was not heinz and whatever spread they use on the cheap bread is overpowering and just tastes nasty. 2 stars as View for the period we sat outside was lovely. Young waitress was friendly and helpful, other staff abrupt. All in all an expensive lunch that was far from enjoyable.

. . Turned up for the advertised Saturday ‘Filipino Buffet’ to find it closed. As my wife is a Filipino we persevered and returned on Sunday to book a family table for 8. ‘Filipino people usually greet each other warmly when they meet at different places around the world, but when my wife tried politely to introduce herself briefly to the manager of the Coffee Pot she was told abruptly ‘I’m too busy’. The people of the Philippines are some of the most friendly, but the rudeness of this establishment’s ‘manager’ cost them not just our booking, but also the future custom and support of two local hotel managers in our group.

The traditional English Breakfast type food is exactly as you would expect - hot, tasty and generous. The Filipino food however is something else: absolutely stand out delicious as a party of 9 we tried most things on the Filipino menu and were impressed with all!

Lasst night was a family based night out. There were eight adults and had bookethe meal for 6pm.It was a Filipino buffet style and I must admit I was apprehensive initially, however, there was spring rolls, fish soup. melon, pork, beef and pulled bee all done in a Filipino recipe. It was spicey (not as hot a chinese or Indian). It was absolutely delicious, even enough for doggie bags

Very typical seaside café. Absolutely awesome veggie food as it even has Quorn! Lovely views and accepts dogs. Basic food, not amazingly presented, but good for a quick bite to eat while on the promenade.

Barmaid wanted £36. I said, "£36 for two puddings and a pint and a half?" She immediately reconsidered. "It's £29.50.". She printed me a receipt and said, "You asked for extra custard. Life isn't free, sir." I had indeed asked for extra custard, for which I had only been charged a pound. But obviously, people who query bar bills in the Lakes are regarded as the lowest form of scroungers.

Tempted by window display. No prices displayed, shocked at prices. Asked if I wanted vegan sausage roll warmed. Outside was warm, middle stone cold. Stodgy, salty filling. Would have preferred a Greggs. Over priced and disappointing 😞
