Smart, good service, very good coffee and a nice piece of cake. Reasonable prices at just under £7 for a medium cappucino - far better than the stuff that Costa, Starbucks, Caffe Nero et al serve = and a lovey bit of honeycomb tiffin. Only slight issue was that it was very busy and not many places left to sit but that's probably a sign that it's a good place to go.

Love the ambiance of the place, clean, warming, inviting surroundings, prices could be a bit lower, but service is great.

Warrington has loads of coffee places, but this is my personal favourite. Always enough staff on so rarely have to queue (unlike a big chain competitor nearby), nice buzzy atmosphere and some outside seating. The tea comes in a pot with leaf tea rather than a tea bag which I like, coffee is always excellent, staff without fail friendly.

We nipped in for 2 hot chocolates to go, when we came to drink them, there was virtually no milk or hot chocolate in the cups, was mostly cream. 2 drink cost us £8, each were gone within 2 sips, never had such a bad hot chocolate before.

The friendly staff greeted us with a smile and a warm hello. I had a skinny, decaf latte. My wife had a breakfast tea. We both had a toasted teacake with butter and marmalade. We took our seat and our food was brought to us. The server had a chat with us so we were made very welcome. The food was tasty and the drinks were just right. Highly recommended.

Great coffee, really great coffee! As an Aussie visiting for the Rugby League World Cup, this was an unexpected taste of home, in a lovely cosy café. If you're after great coffee in England, this is the place!

We had the so called £7 Sunday Lunch. it was told to us that the kitchen was short staffed. So accepted the wait for food but didn't appreciate the cold meals and poorly cooked meat with hard vegetables. Didn't complain at the time as didn't want to spoil the family meal further. Was horrified when the bill arrived and the cost of 'extras' became clear. Cola £6, wine £9.50. what with desserts the meal came to over £140 for 4 of us. OK if you were receiving fine dining but a so called £7 Sunday lunch - just ridiculous. Might have been a bad day but will not be revisiting.

Popped in by chance on a rainy day. Bit of a shame about the steak, 8oz rump was supposedly with a rocket salad, which was effectively a bit of rocket (see pics) with cheese on. Steak with garlic butter, which was magarine flavoured with garlic. Not the greatest. Could be better. The rest of the food was okay. Milkshakes were phenomenal 👌 think the steaks need a rethink! Staff were lovely and very helpful, and the atmosphere was great, but paying £20 for steak for them to be served with little more than a few chips and a small salad, this needs looking at again.

Me and my girlfriend thought we would try out The Grand Rooftop Terrace last night for a couple of drinks and we were not disappointed, the interior design was very smart and we had amazing customer service by Garry on the bar who made our night 10/10, he was very funny and also a very talented cocktail maker. I challenged him to make me a unique rum-based cocktail that I would never have had before, he made me his own signature cocktail called ‘Sailor Garry’ and it was genuinely 10/10 so good that I had to have another one. He mentioned he has several of his own signature cocktails which was very impressive. Would definitely come back to see Garry and the team again as we had a wonderful first experience. Would highly recommend. Thanks Garry see you soon.
