Spotted this on web, staying nearby and concerned Port Talbot may be industrial. Warmly welcomed by manger, delightful coffee house. Loads of sofas, great coffee, light lunches cakes etc. Was large enough to feel could spend time there chatting, yet arranged so intimate too. Brilliant start to our break in area, looking forward to next visit

Initially put off by the slightly unkempt approach from the car park, first impressions not helped by rubbish on the pathway, particularly obvious when in a wheelchair. Inside the sticky tables didn't help those first impressions, although this was explained as a problem with the varnish. Food and drinks were fine, but overall experience could/should have been better.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch here, the food was great (lovely thick bread toast) and very reasonable prices. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made our experience very nice. They even fussed over our young grandson who enjoyed his toast too. The only slight grumble we had was that our coffees could have been hotter.

Good, freshly-ground coffee; a variety of teas and herbal teas; light snacks; free WiFi, and nice, comfy sofas. Not as big as Remo's, but there's almost always room to sit and use even a laptop. Hours are 10:00-15:30, and there's a variety of parking areas around it. Enjoyable rest area!

Come here with my mother in law as it's not far from her house. They do a great selection of coffee's and teas as well as sandwiches and cakes, we normally just have a few coffee's and a bit of cake. Prices are reasonable and it's much nicer than any of the coffee shops down in town.

Pass the church on a regular basis and keep meaning to pop in for coffee - so glad I decided to today - took my mum (notoriously difficult to please) and my student daughter for a snack lunch, soup for mum, sandwich for my daughter, salad for me - freshly made and tasty, friendly staff, lovely ambience I left asking myself why I hadn't called in before and wondering how soon I can go back!

Cosy classy coffee shop by Baglan park. The speciality coffees are delicious and I've just had a Turkish delight latte that I can highly recommend. The manager Martyn is a cheery chap who always gives a warm welcome. The coffee shop is looking very festive with its real Christmas tree and definitely worth a visit.

This wonderful coffee shop is Baglan,s best kept secret. Martin the Manager is a great character and always on hand to give you a warm welcome. Great coffee with great prices. Friendly staff and customers. Great place to unwind and enjoy a latte in comfortable surroundings. A must for the cafe lover. It also has large and small meeting rooms for hire which are very busy and well maintained.

A really good cup of coffee. A warm welcome and cosy atmosphere greets you. They do soups and salads and sandwiches. I can recommend their bacon sandwich in particular. A diverse range of coffees and teas including a good chai latte. A particularly good find and worth a visit.

This place is a real find! You just would not expect to have a coffee house of this quality tucked away up here. The nearby shops provide good local services, but to have a decent independent coffee shop that is good enough to rival any of the big chains in the mix here is a treat for the community. This place is connected with a local church who have completely overhauled the old working men's club buildings and created a venue that anyone would feel happy connecting with. The coffee house snack menu is very well priced with generous portions and the coffee itself is great. There's a really comfortable, safe atmosphere too that means I have to give this place top marks.

Popped in for breakfast on a very busy Saturday morning - the staff had a lot of people to cater for but did so brilliantly; the bacon and egg bap I ordered was great value for money - the bacon was thick and tasty & the whole roll was delicious. Fantastic service and food.

Really enjoyed my food, avo on toast, with poached egg halloumi and chorizo. Coffee is the nicest I’ve tasted. Lovely atmosphere there as well. Will definitely be returning next time I’m in town

Fab quirky little place (off the beaten track so you need to find it first) but great friendly service and reasonably priced tasty cafe food. Came here as a group of 10 cyclists and they managed to serve the whole group with cooked food (bacon rolls) within 15 minutes.

A friend suggested the Market Tavern for a breakfast so I went with said friend to give it a go. What can I say but one of the best breakfasts I've had for a while. The service from the staff was excellent and the food came out pipping hot! 2 large breakfast, 2 latte and 2 OJ for around £30, you can't go wrong. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
