Lovely venue, open for dinner Friday evenings and Saturday lunch. Lovely venue in the nicest part of Saffron Walden. Fantastic service and a really warm welcome. Delicious bread followed by plate after plate of unusual tapas, my favourite was the lobster. Reasonably priced wine and very tasty desserts. Will definitely return and recommend.

I arranged a dinner for 15 people. The food was excellent and all arrived at the same time. The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Make sure you book well ahead of time, were were these on a Tuesday lunchtime and the place was packed. They have a varied menu and sell wines by the glass.

Lovely pub. Really friendly staff and great fresh food. Just a bit of constructive critism. I ordered the mediterran veg pie. Came with fresh lovely salad but as a veggie I was disheartened to find only a few olives and the odd piece if veg inside. Mostly pastry. Im a vegetarian that loves loads of veg!!!, Apart from that the rest of my party enjoyed their fish dinners😊
