We used to travel down to Jackson road just for their chips, so glad they're now here! Found my new local chippy, never had a bad meal 😍

The local Codfather on Jubilee Square is quite a frequent choice for me for fish, pies, chips and sauces. I recommend this particular branch as the staff are pleasant and food quality is always good.

Friendly staff, fresh food, never a bad experience.

We visit the Jubilee Square shop from over 15 miles away frequently. The fish tastes fresh, not overly oily and very decent sized portions. Staff are friendly and premises are always pristine.

Jubilee Square (buckingham park) always go above and beyond with gluten free Wednesdays. Everything is labeled for peace of mind, staff put us at ease with ordering gluten free and the food is beautifuly cooked. Feel so lucky to have such a good gluten free chippie on our door step. Thank you guys and keep up the good work

Matthew and Zoe were lovely. The service was excellent and so was the food.

Staff are all very friendly. Never had a bad meal from here. Service usually very fast, expected to have to wait a bit longer at peak times but it's always worth it. The only Chip Shop I will use in Aylesbury. The app is great, can order and choose a time to collect. Loads of parking. Great choices on the menus and reasonably priced.

The batter on the haddock was very then and not Crispy but this could be down to the steam coming off of it and it was delivered. Chips were good as was the savoloy.

Never left a review but tonight it was awful- chose gluten free cod(usually very nice) it was so hard and fish was dry !!

Lilys customer service was brilliant best quality in food and mouth watering food would recommend if everyone came brilliant would love to go here again 🤗

On my first visit to the Codfather, I arrived at the Jubilee Square branch to collect the order I’d phoned through only to find I’d ordered it with the Jackson Road one. They immediately rang them to cancel that order and started cooking what I’d requested. Zoe and her manager went out of their way to ensure I got my order. The food was superbly fresh, perfectly cooked, non-greasy and yummy. Bonus point was that all the packaging used was eco-friendly. Most definitely will continue to buy from them. When telling other friends locally what a silly mistake I’d made, they also expressed very positive experiences with the Codfather food. 10/10!!

Excellent food great fish and chips. You get what you pay for and whilst it slightly more expensive than the other fish and chips in Aylesbury you are getting a quality product cooked fresh

I’ve been getting my fish n chips on a weekly basis for years & I’ve never been disappointed, friendly staff and owners..let’s not forget the bestttt fish n chips in Aylesbury. Vicky usually serves me & always takes care of my orders..I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my fish n chips..& now they are doing the best milkshakes in town…try them u will Not be disappointed ☺️

Always my go-to location for fish & chips in Aylesbury. They use high quality fish with crispy (yet not hard) batter and the chips are great too.

The food is delicious and great value and the customer service is excellent. Would definitely recommend. I was served by Matthew, Lucy, May, Vicky and Lily and they were very friendly and welcoming.

The service I've always enjoyed by a person called May she's always very polite and personable which is why it's a pleasure to go there for fish and chips even though it's not the nearest chip shop to where I live.

I can’t praise the staff in The Cod Father Jubilee Square enough, especially Zoe and Matthew they are always happy to see a customer, it’s an absolute pleasure to be served by Zoe. I’m always greeted as soon as I step in the door and I’m there every week getting my 84year Dad his weekly treat, the fish chips and mushy peas are so fresh and tasty.

The staff at the Codfather are brilliant. Always warm and friendly. Lucy is especially welcoming and always remembers me.

Tbh I am disappointed in my vist to cod father the batter on the fish and jumbo sausage was very very soggy not what I was looking forward to the share box chips are definitely not a share box chips for 4 and it was all just very oily

Whenever I’m in Aylesbury this is chippy I go to. I’ve tried other local ones in the past but none of them come close to the quality and service you get at The Codfather. I usually go for the classic cod, chips & mushy peas but they’ve got such a good menu that I’m never disappointed if I try something else. Five stars all day long.

Phoned to put in an order at Buckingham park and the girl on the phone was so rude. Ordered at the Jackson Road branch instead who were polite and fish and chips were fab!

Food is normally good however unless you are lucky enough to go there when Matthew the manager is there, prepare to wait at least half hour from when you place your order. Painfully slow.

This was the worst fish and chips I have had. Soggy, oily, just terrible. My 3 kids didn't even eat the chips. They all went to the bin. Big disappointment.

I haven't been to Codfather for a while due to being on a keto diet and I don't eaten many carbs , That said the male staff were very friendly, approachable and offered me what foods I could eat, Burger patte no bun etc .I had a small off keto day and wanted to enjoy their Home made fish cakes which I had always enjoyed to eat, Service was quick and bagged up in a paper Codfather bag ready to go , Thank you for your service

Such a friendly Fish and Chip shop. Family run. Looks like they have exceptional standards of cleanliness and food is always perfectly cooked and delicious. Would really recommend as best in town. I saw they also do Churros so I'm now going back for some too lol

Been having a hankering for picked egg could not find them in any supermarket so took late night trip to codfather at Jubilee Square just before they closed staff more than happy to serve me with a smile thank you all for working in front of hot oil on a hot Saturday like today 5*

Being a vegan, it's so refreshing to see a fish and chip shop with options for me. The vegan nuggets are the best I have had- accompanied by the delicious halloumi. I highly recommend this to other vegans!!!
