I love this bar so much, it is my favourite bar in London and I’ve been to many in the decades I’ve lived here! Everything about it is perfect - the staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. They are so welcoming, always take the time to get to know each customer and never make you feel rushed and happy to answer any question you might have about the drinks. Some bars I’ve been to in the past have felt unapproachable or intimidating, this bar is the opposite of that and you are genuinely greeted like an old friend each time. The drinks are also spectacular. They are all priced the same which I really like as you can decide purely based on what sounds nice and not factor the price in (which also at £12 a drink, is very reasonable for central London). They change menus regularly and tend to have about 10-15 drinks at a time, one per page in the cocktail menu. Each drink will be a clever concoction, unique to the bar, and feels like a labour of love. When I went in Jan, having not visited in a couple of years, I had a smoked salmon flavoured cocktail - it sounds crazy but it completely worked! The drinks are a fun mix of tasty and clever, the descriptions in the menu are good fun and the bar menu has a wonderful sense of humour to it. The place is fairly small and feels homely and personable. This also helps the bar staff be able to get round everyone quickly and you’ll never be waiting long for a drink or a water top up. There is a nice selection of tables and stools and it is comfortable and welcoming. I really can’t recommend this place enough, I go to cocktail bars a lot and have lived in London for several decades and probably visited hundreds in that time and there is a reason this place is my absolute favourite. The drinks are exceptional but it is the friendly warm vibe that means it will always be my number one.

These cocktails gave me a new experience for cocktail drinking! They have really orginal cocktails and serve it really nice. Also the employees are different then any other place. Stumbled across this fab bar whilst visiting Brick Lane…..great range of cocktails…..quirky bar with lovely friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend the White Trojan and the Bitflip.

An absolutely outstanding cocktail menu with really quirky cocktails to choose from we asked the bartender to make us a long vodka based drink which was delicious. They also serve beer in cans too. Very attentive server who was very friendly and chatty too.

I booked a table here to celebrate my partners birthday. We were both very impressed with the range and creativity of the cocktails on offer. The staff member who was looking after us was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodated our off-menu requests with no fuss. We wish we had her name to shout them out personally (description - short dark hair and tattoos and working 22/06) as they really made us feel welcome. Would highly recommend for a date night! Hopefully we’ll be back again!

This is one of the best cocktail bars I've been to. The drinks menu is fun, with a fair amount of choice and the staff were happy to make me and my friends a few off-menu items too! The staff were very friendly, they took time to explain their menu and when they had the time would chat to us about the drinks. Even when the bar got busier they still came around taking orders and drinks were delivered quickly and with a smile! One thing that i really appreciated- they made sure our water glasses were topped up as often as they could, which is great not only because we were consuming a lot of alcohol but also because of the heat. It was a Friday night so the bar did get very busy, so if you want to get a place to sit make sure you arrive early! We did make the mistake of sitting under the speaker so it did get quiet loud but honestly, the atmosphere was great and it was the perfect place for a night out.

Great find. Such a lovely atmosphere. Reminded me a little of Ronnie Scott’s without the live music. Great drinks also. When I was asked what I would like to order, and because I hadn’t made my mind up I just asked for something ‘ bourbon and sweet ‘ and the waiter was on it. All the staff were really friendly!

One of the best places to relax in. The music switches up as the night goes on and the drinks are always delicious and innovative. The team is friendly and clearly talented. The concoction of liquid goodness is just too addictive! The team puts a lot of effort into switching up the menu as often as they can (although, I am missing the American month menu, please bring it back :P) Although there is a wonderful menu, the staff is also very happy to make suggestions or mix up a drink on request. I personally love to sit by the bar and chat with the staff when they aren't too busy! This place has made our evenings in town a pleasure.

One of my favourite, if not my all-time favourite cocktail bar in London. Lovely ambience, the service is some of the best I've had anywhere, top, top-quality cocktails and at £11 a pop! I don't know anywhere that does cocktails as good as they do at that price point. Or anywhere that does cocktails as good as they do, full stop. I've been a handful of times and it never disappoints. Could not recommend enough! This time I tried the apricot cocktail, the name I forget, but that was delicious, and the Seaworld cocktail which is hands down the best cocktail I've ever had. I normally like to order diff cocktails each time to try more of the menu but I had to order the Seaworld twice it was so good. Thanks for another great eve!

Fabulous place really attentive staff who looked after us so well! I personally thought my espresso martini tasted a bit funny (like soap) so they took that off my bill. Delicious tom Collins too

We've been to plenty of cocktail bars in London over the last few years and this one is in the top echelons for sure. Expertly made cocktails, amazing friendly and helpful staff, nice little venue, great value for money, all cocktails 11 quid even if they aren't on the menu

Visited here after seeing it in an article about the best lesser-known cocktail bars of London and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, great staff who were happy to give recommendations and explain the menu. Really funky, cool cocktails, just can’t fault the place. Oh and the music, *chefs kiss* haven’t stopped listening to Scary Pockets since, thanks to our waiter for info on the playlist!

Went there twice in two days- it’s rock solid, top friendly and genuine- a world class bar just without the prevention You will get a drink which will be as great and good as any you could have in Harry’s Bar, the Goring, Schumannn’s or wherever- just none of the pretention, the fuss of the modern speakeasy or any tiki shack deco and no alcohol corpses - PERFECT Get in there peruse the menu or just ask for a daiquiri or a martini and imbibe- the staff is in the know and very helpful too if you are a novice Prices frozen at pre-pandemic level and free water too - guys this doesn’t get any any better

We absolutely loved this bar. It was super fun and had a great atmosphere. I accidentally left my jumper and Andy was very attentive and even mailed it to me! Absolute superstar. I definitely recommend and will be coming back very soon!

We have been here many times before but not since COVID. They have put in good measures with distanced tables and ensuring customers wear masks when moving around. The service is still attentive and even though the menu has reduced, we still enjoyed the drinks...

I visited the Cocktail Trading Company with my partner in October and we absolutely loved it. The cocktails were fantastic. Very different to your usual drinks, but so yummy! My favourite was definitely the Apple Pie - Cocktail and dessert in one. Nuts on every table were also a nice touch. The place itself has a nice atmosphere and stuff were super friendly and so inviting. I keep recommending the place to my friends and next time we’re in London we’ll definitely be back

My fiancé and I went for our 10 year anniversary for a couple of drinks before a dinner reservation elsewhere. Service was great and the staff realised it was our anniversary and gave us some free bubbly to help us celebrate. Very thoughtful and was a nice touch.

The bar was not the easiest to find Google map sent me over the road. It was raining lots was nice to escape the horrible weather. The waiter was great sat us down and found us a better table in time. Well management seating set up. The cocktails were smallish but so different and creative 9.50 each. Absolutely loved this place. Tried 4 of their signature cocktails from their little book. All the cocktails are inspired by bars around the world. They look amazing and taste even better and the service was outstanding.

Everything about this place is right. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed and the staff is very kind and helping. Cocktails are fantastic and not expensive at all (9.50 for a great cocktail in London is almost cheap)! I would have stayed for a second one if I hadn't had to run to an appointment.

Very interesting set up with very attentive staff. You won’t go thirsty as you are regularly topped up with water and receive table service. The staff are extremely accommodating allowing you to move to a more suitable table when it becomes available before a ‘new’ customer comes in and takes it. Very reasonable pricing and a great selection.

I love coming in here for few cocktails and handful of peanuts. Always impressed by the bartenders' skills and amazing look of all their creations. Would recommend to absolutely everyone!

I and my wife were suggested to visit this cocktail bar because of its interesting cocktails. The bar is just meters from Shoreditch tube station. It is no difficult to find it.

Utterly magnificent. Great little corner of the world. The atmosphere is old pub meets quirky distillery. There is a large copper distilling vat in one corner, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere cosy, relaxed and spicy. Most importantly, the cocktails are an imaginative cornucopia of surprising flavours, served with imagination.

My wife and I went for pre-dinner drinks on a sunny afternoon. The weather finally warmed and this was just what we needed after a day in the city.

We were welcomed at the entrance by a handsome man with glasses and shaved head. He explained the menu . to us and was very patient with us. Amazing service in general and drinks were sooo tasty! Very recommended!!!

This place is brilliant! Thank goodness we stumbled upon it! The staff were incredible as were the drinks. The music was spot on. There’s nothing not to love about it. Can’t wait to go back. Tip - try the scotch egg! It’s yum!

A friend posted a picture of a cocktail and I was jealous so had to try it for myself the next day... it didn’t disappoint.

Visited with some friends for a 30th birthday. We were greeted with a welcome drink and given cocktail menus. One of our party was unsure and the barman was very helpful in helping her pick a drink, which she loved. The cocktails were quirky and delicious, a creme brûlée on a cocktail is genius! The cocktail making class itself was not only brilliant fun but actually very informative, not just your average shake the drinks and done.

I booked on for a cocktail masterclass to celebrate my 30th Birthday. From booking to masterclass everything was excellent.

Stopped there for a cocktail with my wife and the welcome was great: on a Saturday night all staffs acknowledged us as soon as we walked in. Cocktail recommendations was great and service was outstanding!

Full disclosure: this is now my local. But that's not by mistake or coincidence, its a testament to the service, value and charm of this gem of a bar.

This place is a real hidden gem! We stumbled across this place when out for the day in Shoreditch. When we walked in there were no tables free but the waiter was really friendly and said we were more than welcome to wait and order some cocktails.

Such a cute cocktail bar, they take their cocktails very seriously! 5* service, 5* cocktails and 5* venue. All cocktails £9.50 brilliant price for such a central location. They have a piano in the corner and they let my friend play for half an hour, such a cute and intimate bar. Love it! We will certainly be returning.

Tinny little place with amazing vibe and cool staff, highly recommend this place! The guys are very skilful bartenders, so if you confused and don't know what you want to drink, just let them know what kind of spirit or taste you like and they will create something specially for you!

Fui a este bar sin expectativas y sólo puedo decir que la experiencia fue impresionante, el servicio era muy amable y también muy antentive. Tienen un menú con firmas de cócteles, donde podrá encontrar diferentes licores básico y buen equilibrio entre amargo y souer souer y probé 6 y dulce de ellos y eran muy buenos pero tengo que mencionare que las presentaciones de ellos era incluso mejor. Sin duda me volveré a volver pronto.

Nos topamos con este lugar mientras en nuestro camino a Smokestak para cenar y nos gustó tanto que volvimos después de la cena. El servicio era excepcional, el barman era muy feliz de mezcla a fin de satisfacer las preferencias individuales. Bien merece una visita.

Excelente y un excelente servicio. Los camareros son increíbles, ya que estaba muy ocupado nos algunos taburetes mientras estábamos esperando mesa. My wife and I had spotted the place almost a year ago and both thought it looked like a really cool quirky place to have a drink at. Skip forward a few months and there is me trying to organise a get together of Close friends in secret to surpise her on her Birthday. The cocktail Trading company sprang to mind. Not only were they helpful chaps that were really nice to me and everyone I invited, they really helped me out with organising a table, surpirse cake and really just timescales and all other aspects of the process. My wife and I (and guests) had a really enjoyable time and will definately be going back. P.S. The cocktails are tasty and inventive and the decor is super fun and quirky.

My friend and I popped in here on a snowy afternoon as we were looking for a place to warm up. It looks like an old fashioned pub from the outside but as soon as we walked through the door we knew we were somewhere special.

Well, what a gem. The cocktails were innovative & exciting with a real twist. Perfect ambience to enjoy and very attentive & welcoming bar staff. I had a great cocktail served with noodles on top. The waiter informing me to break through the noodles with the 2 straws to get to the drink & then eat the noodles using straws as chopsticks. It was truly delicious. Had to try a few more before moving on and they were all as good. Will definitely return.

Amazing cocktail bar with such a great vibe and setup! Our group were there for a couple of hours and had such a great time. We sought this place out based on trip advisor reviews and were glad we did. We were lucky enough to get a table on a Saturday evening. Staff were friendly and helpful and the cocktails were delicious and very strong. We had 3 each and would have stayed for more if I’d thought we could walk in a straight line afterwards. It had a lovey atmosphere and great music. It’s always nice to try creative cocktails.
