I celebrated my birthday here! We got student discount and, when it turned into my birthday at midnight, they brought out fire fountains, confetti and whipped cream! It was so fun! Thank you to Eleanor for making it special <3

An absolutely buzzing place, where you can dance the day and night away. Staff really friendly and entertaining. Thoroughly recommended for a social with friends

Called in on a January Saturday afternoon so it was very quiet but staff and drinks were excellent. Great advice and good drinks knowledge from Jack and Alex. Wife had a Truffeltini which she described as bitter and strong. I had a Negroni which was perfectly sour.

Brilliant experience here the other day, great spot for cocktails and we felt really looked after by our barman Alex, great service and great drinks! Will be back for sure

First time in The Cocktail Club, doesn’t look much from the outside but great atmosphere once you’re in. We went on a Saturday afternoon for happy hour, lovely and quiet, can see it getting very busy in the evenings. Bartenders Alex and Jack were great, mentioned that if there were cocktails not on the menu they would make them but also offered suggestions if we liked a particular spirit or flavour. Will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of being served by Alex at The Cocktail Club, and he was absolutely exceptional! From the moment I arrived, Alex’s friendly and welcoming demeanor set the tone for an amazing evening. His knowledge of cocktails was outstanding—he not only recommended fantastic options based on my preferences but also crafted them to perfection. What truly stood out was his attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for ensuring everyone had a great experience. He was attentive without being intrusive and made sure everything was spot on throughout the night. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone visiting The Cocktail Club. His passion for what he does truly shines, and he made the experience memorable. Definitely a 5-star service!

I want to the cocktail club over the weekend to celebrate my 25th birthday. While I enjoyed the evening and appreciate the hard work of the staff, I was concerned to see the female manager shouting at the team, who appeared stressed despite working hard.I was saddened to see this disrespectful and unsupportive treatment towards staff. As someone with experience in hospitality, I understand the challenges, but I believe fostering a respectful and supportive environment benefits both staff and customers. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the team is essential to creating a great experience.

Had our Christmas party drinks here, as we do every year. When the club was closing up, we asked if we could get our jackets as we were in the smoking area. The club security said no you;'ll have to take it up with lost and found...The club has no local phone numbers and the lost and no one gets back to you on the lost and found number. I like this club, but after this nonsense, we'll take our business elsewhere!

My new favourite cocktail bar. The selection is the best I've ever seen. Tasted amazing and the staff were friendly, chatty and knew how to treat their customers unlike TB. Reasonably priced and decor was cool. Thanks for a great night. Best to reserve a table if you're looking for a long stay.

Went to a friends booked birthday event here, staff and jack in particular were very friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere:) would definitely recommend!

Had a fantastic time there. The cocktails were delicious. Jack and Dan were behind the bar and Jack would recommend cocktails depending on our flavour profiles and his recommendations were spot on. The venu itself has a lovely atmosphere. Happy hour is also worth popping in for.

Any absolutely incredible night! We had booked a section of the venue and the managers, staff and bartenders were all incredible and accommodated our every request. Alex and Kat were really knowledgeable and served all our quests quickly and with a smile - everyone came back saying it was such an incredible venue and so unique from others we have used before! We have always loved going to cocktail club, however I’m not sure whether it has been taken over by new management but most of the women working there on Sat night had a horrible and most unwelcoming attitude, really rude and unfriendly. In the current times when going out is a privilege and women should stick together, this has been even been more disappointing to encounter. I really hope they relax and treat customers a lot better, or they will definitely lose returning business. Male bouncers and bartenders were lovely though!

Me and my partner came in here Saturday and found it brilliant. Came back the next three evenings. Bartenders were all brilliant. Especially Alex and jack. We came in on Monday when it was quieter and they was recommending specific drinks to our tastes. Super helpful and genuinely couldn’t believe how passionate and knowledgeable they were about what they was making. Made the experience really enjoyable and will be keeping an eye out for more of your bars in future

We were served by the lovely Alex and Jack. Jack gave us some perfect cocktail recommendations based on our preferred flavour profile which went down a storm. Created an amazing environment, so classy but comfortable. Alex so very charming, and the drinks were so affordable and delightful that we ended up returning a second time before close. Try the June bug, it's exquisite!

Nat and Thalia were incredible! Had the best experience here. Will definitely be coming back. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with such happy faces. Really made me feel welcome. I was unsure on what to order and their knowledge of cocktails took me really aback! Honestly wow! There was so much choice and they made me the most amazing bramble I have ever tasted. I will be recommending TCC to all my friends and plan to book the place out for my birthday!

Went in to TCC with a group of mates for a drink and was served by Alex who made really good cocktails. We didn’t know what we wanted so he recommended drinks and was patient while we decided. Nice vibe, great drinks.

Our server Alex was warm , friendly and very knowledgable , he went above and beyond and made our whole evening !!! The entire setting was top notch and a great night out !! Make sure you get served by Alex !!

Most fun I’ve had in Exeter if you want people dancing on tables and good songs! Ciaran made us so so welcome, everyone dancing in the bar- Tegan and Sam were amazing as well, just good vibes

The Cocktail Club always has a brilliant atmosphere, the music is great and the staff are always welcoming. You’d struggle to find a better range of cocktails in Exeter, and the drinks deals mean they’re great value for money. The bartenders are highly skilled and always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and I have to recommend Alex in particular for excelling in his service and attitude towards customers. Any evening in the Cocktail Club is sure to be a great one!

RIPPED OFF Nothing was measured out. Barman poured 3 rums into a sharer size glass straight from the bottles simultaneously. One of the bottles ran dry at the beginning of the pour, and he didn't care or bother topping up. Drink was weak and a waste of 40 quid. If it had been me on my own I would have walked out, but it was my mate's birthday and he was having a great time so I didn't make a scene for his sake. Won't be going back to this scam hole ever Edit - reply is a scam too. Emailed as requested, never heard back.

Very nice, well made cocktails by well trained mixologist bar staff. Great value during happy hour. Nice decor and on the historic Gandy St of Exeter.

I organised a cocktail masterclass for my team at work as part of our team building day and it was brilliant! Sam was an amazing host and made the team feel at ease and we had a lot of fun making and drinking the cocktails! Thank you for a brilliant time.
