Most disappointed after an exhausting day offering an event for 85 people in hadleigh to find we could not have a relaxing drink in the garden with a responsible child. If children aren't able to go into the pub/garden you should display it outside. Should not have felt ashamed asking for a drink to sit in the garden to then be told to leave. Please change your signage.

Stopped here for a refreshing drink whilst out for a walk around Hadleigh. The bar staff were very friendly, the served a good pint of cider and we sat in the rear outside seating area (a beer garden, but concrete). Recommended 👍

Didn't let my family in for a drink because I am under 18 years old. It was a Sunday afternoon. They show photos of food on google but obviously don't serve it if kids are not allowed to enter. Won't come back.

I went there this afternoon with my wife and 13 year old granddaughter to watch our friend play music there. We got asked to leave because no children are allowed. This was 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, none of us could believe it. I will never set foot in the place ever again.

Whilst average sized interior, there is a large beer garden, that has shelter for those wanting to smoke/vape. Nicely refurbished inside and out. Very convenient location near the leasure centre.

Great little pub, a lovely band was on, so the pub was full. It was very busy, but we didn't have to wait long to be served, great atmosphere we had a really good time xx

Great local... sports coverage and music, as well as a variety of cask ales. Superb bar staff, lovely garden area. Unfortunately, no food available. No children allowed. Dog friendly 🐾👌

Really nice, friendly staff, allowed to bring well behaved dogs in. Pool table, sports on TV, live music. Beautiful outside garden, when weather is better. 2 bars.

As always a very warm welcome from the lovely staff, my hubby had a welcome tot of rum and I enjoyed a very nice Malbec to chase away the winter blues

I didn't eat here I went to see live music from 3 steps to heaven. He was fantastic as always

Such a lovely pub, the landlady was very friendly, we are not local's but were made to feel welcome, although hoping to move there in a couple of years, lovely garden area with lovely planted flowers, can't wait to visit again.

We danced here on a Thursday night with our Morris side (Boudicca Border Morris). Beer is a good price and there was a reasonable size spot to dance.

Drinks on Saturday night whilst house sitting in Hadleigh, watching an indie tribute band. Great pub, good beer, nice staff, good music, everything a good local pub should be.

Nice friendly pub with a big 'sun trap' outdoor space. We spotted the Pool table, so will have to come back!

Lovely pub this is the second time we have visited while on holiday we ride our bikes & park them up in the garden while we have a drink outside nice relaxed atmosphere & friendly staff

The 60's duo was excellent as usual. The seating/bar area a bit small, but accessable for my elderly mum, which is a big plus, as many pubs have too many steps.

Served warm beer on a hot day, awful. Unfriendly staff.

Spotlessly clean pub, lovely atmosphere and landlord and staff very nice. We are on holiday here from Cheshire and visited the pub this evening to watch the Champions League. Locals were all lovely, No food though so we nipped out into town for a meal then back to watch the football, thank you for a lovely evening . Would recommend.

We had a fantastic time at this establishment. We watched Paul Gee a solo artist perform. Was very good. Kind, friendly people and staff. Wonderful ambience. Like one big happy family.

Traditional Suffolk pub. Great for a night out if you like pool, darts & music. Friendly welcoming bar staff.

Lovely sun trap in the garden, lovely pub

What a lovely pub. The landlord and landlady were super friendly, and as my dad said the landlord clearly knows how to keep his beer. Felt safe with covid measures in place but not too overboard. Perfect little garden to soak up the sun. Will be back.

Do not visit this so called pub if you want a welcoming greeting..landlord reminded me of basil fawlty..but without the humour..they seemingly have never heard of a latte..Do not serve food at all..his own words..and my son and his girlfriend brought our grandson in and was told by BASIL. that no children where allowed at all..if you want a nice pub to go to dont go here..as the name of the pub suggests the landlord truly is one ..

Rude and arrogant is how I found the landlord. If he doesn't like a comment or suggestion he will either ban you or ignore you and walk away. Shame as it used to be a really good local pub.

Fantastic atmosphere, apparently the last Tuesday of every month is buskers night. Throughly enjoyed it. Couple of duff notes but after my third Guinness I could not care a jot. Fantastic.

Proper, old fashioned (in a good way) pub. Great beer. The bar staff and landlord are very welcoming. Even if you’re a stranger, the locals will always smile and make you feel at home.

Great little timber framed pub, close to the swimming pool and park in Hadleigh. I visit it with my son to watch football games occasionally. They are always very welcoming of me and my son and there is the choice of three screens in different rooms to watch sports on. They show most sports in the pub. Never seen anything going on in the pub that would worry my young son, and it's always been a pleasant atmosphere. The locals in the pub are very welcoming as well.

Lovely country town pub. The landlord & lady are genuine, friendly &warm people. Beer is cold, fresh & the best in Hadleigh. Music entertainment most Fridays, televisions for sports & special events. Quiz nights on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, which is a good friendly atmosphere & great fun. My husband & I have been going here for a couple of years now & have met some very friendly people. X
