The Clock Fish Bar in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Absolutely disgusting. Stale, scabby chips. Probably the worst chip shop chips I've ever tasted. Take my advice and go elsewhere. You've been warned. Such a shame was a really nice chip shop when I was a kid.

Disgusting food would not eat from here again

All cooked from frozen, soggy chip, undercooked potato fritters, not the best.

Really like this place. The guy that runs it is very friendly. Food tastes great. Highly recommended.

Absolutely great the delivery was very early here within 15 minutes and the curry sauce could be thicker and the Mushy peas but other than that the fish and the chips where stunning absolutely lovely fish very good size fish will be ordering again very soon thank you !

this place is my go to chippy, only place around here that does proper chip shop chips without skin on 👌 burgers are great, come with no sauce or salad automatically which I like but others may want to be aware, and they are always super friendly and happy to help if I have to call or change anything

Disappointing fish not up to the standards of other local fish shops in the area.

Fish had quite a few bones in and batter was quite thick and spongy so not very crispy. Pie was cold in the middle. Lovely quick service and hot fresh chips though.

Just popped in after my majestic haircut at authentic 8 barber studio, I was parched so ordered a Coca Cola. They give me a 7up with some stinking attitude!

I’m getting emotional typing this over the “Ceibers finest” clock fish-bar, I was severely disappointed with the jumbo sausage in batter, felt like eating a stick of rock from Porthcawl, even the dentist told me to stop going there

Food was shocking faggots were dried out and as hard as bullets, no gravy on the faggots and they charge £3.50 for 2 small faggots about the same size as in a brains faggots tin.

Was a bit disappointed to receive chocolate cookie dough icecream instead of what I expected to be vanilla but the rest was fine.

Lovely food but prices high on certain stuff for the size you get. Can get some of the same meals size else where for less.

That was the best chippy I have had for years, super crispy batter on fish and sausage in batter, chips cooked to perfection, gravy and curry was spot on, all hot, delivered quickly and didn't go soggy. You are my number 1 for chippy from now on! Well done

Forgot to order chips with my fish but was called as soon as my ordered was received to see if I was aware there were no chips on the order. Excellent service, delivery arrived exactly on time and food was excellent.

Food was ok not the best I've ever had. I ordered a large cod but if that was large I dread to think what the small size is. Overall, not overly impressed.

Had food here for the first time tonight and it was greasy and soggy also fish was overdone. The chips though 🤢 do yourself a favour and dont bother! Waste of money as its inedible, cooking as we speak...

The Clock Fish Bar has recently been totally refurbished by the new owner, and is exceptionally clean!! All food is cooked fresh to order. No complaints!
