Excellent small plates food, just perfect before the show. Telvin, our waiter, was attentive, very helpful and made us feel special. It was a great start to our evening.

My daughter and I enjoyed the food very much and we want to specially thank Telvin, our waiter, for his excellent, fast and friendly service!

The Circle Lounge exceeded all expectations. Telvin's service was outstanding, the food was surprisingly delicious and affordable, and the reserved table throughout the performance was a brilliant touch. A must-try for any theatre-goer!

Empty restaurant at 1200 but told we needed a booking. Asked at the main desk and they were surprised as they had been told they were taking walk ins. What a shame. There were only 4 of us

We had a wonderful meal before the pantomime. The menu is small plates, we had one of each and every single plate waa delicious and we'll executed. Would definitely recommend and I'll be back again....Isaac in particular was absolutely charming x

We shared a sumptious,fine dining experience at this extremely comfortable and luxurious pre theatre venue.Our meal was expertly cooked and lovingly prepared featuring a wide ranging menu with tastes to suit all palates,delicious from beginning to end.Our attentative waiter was extremely knowledgeable and friendly ensuring our pre show meal was a perfect start to a wonderful evening of entertainment.

Choice of foods was disgusting , ended up with child’s chicken chips & salad , chicken over cooked rock hard son couldn’t eat it I only ate it cus I was hungry and nothing else Wouldn’t recommend gone down hill since I last came about 5 yrs ago Not happy at all , should have gone to Wetherspoons over the road , would not recommend to anyone

Introduced to the circle lounge and have loved the experience. Shown to our table and given the overview after which we were wonderfully looked after by Vaeh. The food was a real surprise; never did I expect food of such quality to be available in a theatre and very reasonably priced. You get the same table for the interval so all stresses are removed - a must do for future visits to the theatre.

Came for food before seeing an evening performance of Hamilton for my 30th. Jade, our server, was super helpful and kind. She was friendly and really looked after our table. She even sorted a lovely happy birthday plate for me! Thanks so much, and to the lovely girl you were training. Also, the food was superb! The burrata, prawns and focaccia were unreal!

We had a lovely lunch ahead of seeing Hamilton. We had not been to the circle lounge before and were delighted by the light, modern comfy decor, delicious food (there was plenty of it!) and fantastic service. Dante was our excellent waiter, with his enthusiastic and professional personality , he made my mum and I feel so welcome and taken care of! Will definitely return.

A great venue. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent service. A special mention for Prachiti who looked after us today. What a Star! We shall be back.

Came here to watch Hamilton with my parents, our waitress jade was the most elegant, sweet and upmost enjoyable individual! She was incredibly kind and made me and my parents feel right at home- absolute star!

What a treat to use The Lounge Bar before Hamilton last night. Fantastic atmosphere, spotlessly clean & our waitress Jade was 1st rate. Knowledgeable about the menu & advising us on options, attentive and super friendly service.

The circle lounge was a great pre-show experience! The staff were so helpful, our waiter was Saneal, who was absolutely great, so helpful especially with my partner who uses a mobility scooter. Food was great, good selection, wonderful quality, and good value for money, a selection of small plate dishes, no complaints here, or from my group of 4! And then ordering interval drinks, waiting for us at our table! Great venue, great show & wonderful food! Thank you Circle lounge!

We’ve eaten at the Circle Restaurant a few times now and every time the service has been great the food is brilliant and atmosphere is perfect for a show. We love coming back in for dessert at the interval. Ellie-mae served us this evening, she was excellent. Star of the show!

This facility really is excellent and a perfect upgrade to the Hamilton performance. Our waiter Saneal couldn’t do enough to ensure that our experience was exceptional. The food was served promptly and every dish was a delight. Top marks!

I just wanted to say what an amazing experience I had today. Food and service ( thank you Abbie and Amelia) was first class. Really recommend you try all the small plates. Will be back again and recommend to my theatre friends

We have eaten here 4 or 5 times since it opened last year so review is based on multiple visits. The restaurant is consistently good. The ingredients used are obviously very high quality. The food is exceptional. The experience is exceptional. The small plate concept allows for lots of interesting dishes to be shared which is great because you want to order everything! The staff are excellent and service is very good. Highly recommended. We really enjoy eating before a show, then ordering dessert/ cheese/ drinks for the interval as you keep your table. We will book a table for every visit now. Just save room for the tiramisu!

Was really looking forward to dining here before going to see Drifters Girl. What a disappointment. Asparagus Frittata was overcooked, dry and tasteless. Salad was also tasteless we had to ask for Mayonnaise to try and improve it. Chicken was also overcooked to the point where it was hard. Ordered side order of roast potatoes but when they didn’t arrive with order we were told they would be another 5 minutes so we had chips instead. Glad we did as these were the best thing about the meal. We had three cheese platers on the understanding what we didn’t eat they would be covered up for us to finish in the interval. Plenty of cheese but 4 little ( and I mean little) crackers I asked if we could have a few more but was told no. When it came to the interval they had disposed of them !!!!!! Never again absolutely rubbish.

I love the atmosphere here - a casual and welcoming introduction to fine dining. I’m vegetarian and have only attended with meat eaters, so the sharing concept isn’t practical for me. However, I have found that ordering 2 plates with fries is an excellent meal. The service has always been fabulous - friendly, classy, and welcoming. It’s great to have a drink and dessert waiting for you during the interval. The private toilets are also a great swap from the queues in the main area. I go to the Hippodrome for all their musicals and will gladly attend this restaurant for every show.

We visited today for afternoon tea before going to the matinee performance of the panto (3 adults & a 7yo) and are so glad we did! Service was exceptional from Dante, who was attentive and friendly. Both he and the manager, Charles, were very professional and worked hard to make it a great experience. Food was delicious, couldn’t fault anything. My little boy was given child friendly sandwiches and cake. An added bonus was that the table was reserved for us in the interval as well, so we popped back for pre-ordered drinks and could use the facilities without any queues plus had somewhere to sit. We will most definitely be booking again!

Amazing food, love the small plates as it means we get to try lots of different things. The arancini are incredible, and it's worth it just for the tiramisu during the interval alone! Been twice, will definitely be going every time I'm at the theatre again in future!

A great experience! The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were wonderfully attentive. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The service was exceptional, and the food quality was outstanding with a great variety to choose from. I'd recommend this place 100% for a before the show meal!

We enjoyed the food. But when they say small plates, that's what they mean. The portion of humus was tiny. My dining companion said it was insulting! The olives were the only thing we felt we had plenty of. The wine was excellent but the one we had was nearly £40. It's difficult because there is such a small time window for them to serve everyone in. The staff were lovely and there's a lot of them but even so, they weren't slick - a promise to take our coats forgotten and I gave up waiting for a clean glass and went to get one. They said they'd rechill our wine for the interval but didn't. It was lovely to have somewhere to sit before the show and during the interval. We shared a cheese platter at the interval and that was nice. There are only two unisex toilets so there were queues. I might eat there again for a show but don't go expecting a huge meal

Pre theatre meal - lovely tasty food!

I visited yesterday with a friend prior to a show. My friend is vegetarian, which we had alerted them to at the time of booking. We discussed them menu with the staff and ordered a sharing platter. When it arrived, there was a tablespoon of hummus, 2 tiny pieces of cheese, 3 crackers (to split between 2 people!) maybe half a pitta chopped up, a tablespoon of chutney, 2 tiny pickles, 3 tiny onions, etc etc. it was tiny. I took a photo, but it hardly shows how minuscule everything was because of the perspective. The table was so small, as were the bottles on it, so it looks bigger than it was in real life. This would have been ok for one person, but was no where near enough for two, so I do not know how they have the cheek to call this a sharing platter!! It really needed a few extra crackers, a bit of extra bread, and the cheese that was promised to be on it when we asked the server (who said there were 4 types) - they are just being cheap. It is unacceptable. This cost £20! We discussed our feelings politely with the staff and they were clearly embarrassed at what they were offering and offered more food but we did not want to stay, so we left. The staff are a real credit to the place. So polite and professional. Some of the best service I’ve had in a while. Such a shame that management are being so incredibly cheap on the food! I would avoid this place for a main meal unless you want to either a) go hungry or b) pay over the odds on multiple ‘sharing platters’. It is probably best to eat here if you only require a light snack.
