First time to order tonight and overall was impressed Fast delivery service and delivery guy very polite Good was piping hot I have tasted the chicken role and tasty however would like them ,more crispy taste The mix curry fantastic selection mixed meat however my choice wish curry taste a little stronger However for portion size could not complain

We have used the welcome for ages now and it's is the best Chinese by far in the area. It is always delivered super hot, the chicken chow mein, and yung chow fried rice are our personal favourites. The staff and delivery drivers are always so friendly.... Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Always order from the Welcome, got the 7-in-1 tray this time. 4 chicken balls, 4 ribs, 4 fried chicken wings, 4 spring rolls, salt & pepper chicken, chips, onion rings, veg and a pot of sweet and sour sauce, all for £15.90. Everything was perfect and cooked properly, just a bit much salt for me. Easily fed two people 👌🏼 9/10

I have used this Chinese for over 26 years. Food is delicious, delivery service is quick, efficient and driver's are very polite. Lisa who is the owner is professional, polite and super friendly a real credit to the establishment. Well done to all the staff who work there for there amazing customer service. The absolute best Chinese ever, I get from here basically EVERYDAY! I’ve had issues with one driver but once raising it was dealt with quickly and in the right way, such lovely friendly staff, and lovely girl who delivers so polite and food always lovely and hot and really quick !!! Amazing food, amazing service, girl behind the counter is a credit to her parents and such a good worker.

Great food. Very friendly staff. The food is always piping hot. Would recommend the salt and pepper squid and house special curry, when we phone she is always happy and recognise your voice and even knows your regular order. Can be very busy on the weekend which shows how good the food is. The portion size for the chips is huge and would be big enough for two people. I would also recommend the special curry with rice. Lovely large chucks of meat.

Disgusted, despite being the best food for miles,they are never open their advertised hours,they have already missed a huge income by not being on deliveroo,just eat or other,just can't be bothered to open most of the time.

Visited due to 5 star hygiene rating. Staff were friendly but the food was genuinely the worst i have ever eaten. No taste, extremely bland and we couldnt eat it. I had special curry which was very pale in appearance, no aroma etc. Never again

The food is always freshly cooked, tastes lovely and generous portions, the only downsides are (and they are relatively small but worth mentioning) they don't take card payments,cash only (there is a cash point at a convenience shop a little way down the road, but It does charge for cash withdrawals! ) And parking is a bit tight, obviously worse at busy times as there is an Indian takeaway a few doors up, but it's genuinely,in my opinion, one of the best Chinese takeaways in the area so worth the hassle.

My local go to Chinese take away, I order from here at least once a month and have never had a bad meal. Always delivered on time hot and ready to eat never a need to reheat. Prices are very reasonable maybe even a little cheaper than others I have tried when I have wanted a Chinese on a Tuesday when they are shut. All in all if you are looking for a Chinese takeaway it's well worth trying out The Welcome, I know everyone has different tastes but I know you will get quality food good size portions at a reasonable price so you have nothing to lose.

Our local which always delivers on quality and quantity. Most dishes come as a large portion, and we’ve not had a bad one yet in 5 years of custom. Decent range of vegetarian dishes as well and they can customise most dishes if you ask nicely. No card facilities so take cash, nearest cash point is in cost cutter, but it charges.

Very welcoming, great portion sizes, value and taste. Happy to make minor alterations to dishes to suit requirements. Lots of Chinese restaurants in the area, this is my go to one every time.
