Delicious chips. Quite expensive but it’s the only chippy in the area, so no competition in terms of pricing. No seating inside, this is purely a takeaway.

Nice fresh food tasted good but the only issue is the cost, over priced when not needed to be. A piece of cod will cost close to £10.

wasnt a fan of the food at all, cod batter was to soft, chips could of been done for abit longer 5mins more maybe, the cod roe was absolutely inedible, i dont know wether becaue it was fried fresh or not but it was extremely mushy, almost runny like. Had to bin it. Wouldn't come again, will have to stick to my usual place when im in the mood for fish n chips. Ill still give it a 2 star just to be generous.

The owner is a Turkish Cypriot and he loves his job. Friendly business owners. Portions are very filling

Worst fish and chips I have had. It was a takeaway. I only live 5 minutes away.i Chips were white needed 5 more mins in the fryer. My cod was all crumbly batter, fish was hardly there and tepid.

Disappointed with the portion size of the chips especially the price of them! Always get plenty when go in there and pay less. Won’t use via Just Eat again

The poor courier was told to go to the furthest place first and me last when just up the road from the Chippy so my food was cold. It was not the couriers fault!!!

Absolutely terrible service… got a notification saying my order was on the way but the driver went to a completely different address.. then got a call from a woman at the chippy and told me my order will be with me soon… 15 mins later I get a text saying my order was cancelled and then they conveniently turned the phone off..

Always good but don’t take card. Seriously after Covid who does not take card????

Fried in groundnut oil and not vegetable oil. Much cleaner and better taste.

The best fish and chips for miles but, Christ, is it pricey! The owners wife has to ask him how much to charge for each piece of fish, but it's mostly cooked fresh. If you have a spare mortgage payment at the end of the month, spend it here. It's undeniably good but costly - more so than other chippies. I suspect its because they're so close to the station?

Super fresh and delicious Fish and Chips. I always get the Cod, as the batter and taste is superb. Cheaper to collect in person than order over JustEat by a few pounds! Currently priced at around £12 per person for Cod & Chips but the quality is always consistent. The owners and workers are kind, friendly and always give great portion sizes, just be sure to order in advance as they are always busy!

The are numerous very good quality fish shops throughout Romford, this was my first time ordering and unfortunately will be my last. Don’t normally leave reviews but had to make an exception. I would not recommend spending £15 on cod and chips and expecting to receive what you do in all the other fish bars throughout Romford. Chips were just about warm and very soggy with a small piece of cod and half a portion of a small chips. Wished I never wasted the money!!

Food was yummy and hot. Chips were lovely and squishy and onion rings are the best I've ever had.

Great chippy that cooks to order so all the food is piping hot and the quality is consistent. Prices are reasonable compared to other local fish and chip takeaways. I definitely recommend for anyone in the Harold Wood area.

I’ve tried many chippys in the area but this chip shop is by far the best, haddock was lovely and fresh by far the freshest and best chip shop I’ve tried in east London Service is fantastic and love the welcoming vibe they give when you walk in

Went there once and won't be going back again. The fishcakes and chips were bad quality & colour - they clearly do not use good oil. The staff were dishonest - the couple who work there tried to charge me way more than the actual price, but I immediately noticed. They have done this to other customers too and pretend they mistyped the amount - beware. Worst fish & chips shop in this area.

Dishonest old guy! He always overcharges you and tries to short change you! Especially if you send kids to buy the food, he always without fail con you!! You have been warned! Please check your change and add up your order total

I ordered for lamb chops from the restaurant next door to The Chippy. They sold me a rotten smelly lamb. I was upset and went to return it. I walked into the Chippy and ordered for cod and chips. Lovely customer service, fresh chips, Tasty cod and they tasted yummy. Thanks a lot for making my day bright after my bad experience from the next door restaurant.

Tasty food! Good portions, curry sauce was very tasty, mushy peas were okay, the mixed kebab has loads of meat, lamb really tender and tasty!

Failed to provide the chips that was ordered so over 15 quid for scampi , curry sauce and drinks
