KUSHI Gidea Park in Havering

Awful service! Waited over 2 hours for our order which then turned up and was wrong, we then rang back and they tried to refuse sending us the fresh correct food and tried palming us off with sending sauces. They then agreed to send the correct food but we ended up waiting over 2 hours again for the food to arrive! They kept lying on the phone as to where the driver was, It was 10.30pm before we ate!!! We was told we would get a call back to arrange a refund for the awful service and never received a call back or a refund! Do not waste your time ordering here!

My meal was finally delivered 2 hours later than expected delivery time (3 hours after ordering ) and was as expected, cold

After the app said my food had been delivered, I had to call the restaurant and they said it’s on its way. 2 hrs from ordering the food turned up, stone cold and vile. I was missing potatoes and sundries. The food had obviously been cooked earlier in the day as was so tough to eat. The microwave wouldn’t make it that tough. This restaurant is a disgrace to have on just eat. Do not waste your money!

Food was excellent. Good value. But unfortunately delivery was late. All in all very good.

Disappointed, we have ordered a few times and this was the worst meal we have had . The Popadoms tasted stale , the chicken tikka was under cooked and the pilau rice was all stuck together.

Unfortunately the delivery was delayed and the food was not as hot as should have been. Had to heat it up before eating. First time had this problem, so hoping it was a one off.

First and last time ordering from here. Placed order at 6pm and delivery said from 6.50-7.10 I called the restaurant at 7.20 and 7.35 to be told it was on its way, called again at 7.50 but they didn’t pick up. Food finally arrived at 8pm but was cold so had to microwave. Driver didn’t even apologise and was on his mobile. Tikka masala was very watery and no flavour and the mint sauce and mango chutney had overpowering taste of vinegar so couldn’t eat them.

Late, cold, incorrect items, items missing. A shame. Never again.

it was late, cold, chicken was tough and the whole meal was tasteless. the bread was soggy with condensation and I had to throw the whole thing away. very disappointed in kushi as it is usually my favourite place

Not happy.Ordered food for 20.25 delivery, received call from kushi to say that the order was being prepared.I was told that it would be another 40 minutes.This made it too late for me to eat so I asked to cancel.

1 hour delivery to bring me 4 items - and then for 3 of them to be cold is shocking. Nothing had any flavour besides the coconut rice. The Korma was boiling but went cold before I could even dish it out. Won’t be ordering again

Normally enjoy this takeaway but last night the order was wrong and not very hot. Even with photos, there is no refund from Just Eat so will be using another app from now on.

every dish had to be microwave heated all cold even the rice,chicken tikka mossalla, and the bombay alloo plus cold onion bhajis veys disappointed. starters stick kebabs all had to be reheated not happy at all.😒😒😒

Not sure why this place has a few negative reviews. The day we visited our food & service was amazing. Restaurant is very well decorated & clean. We ordered the chicken biryani & tandoori platter which tasted fresh & authentic flavours. Definitely recommend to try this place.

Went to the restaurant to order a takeaway and got home to find no onion. bhaji in the bag The keema Naan would be nice if it had some in it overall, not a good experience

Can’t believe this place is still in business! Worst service ever! Customer service is disgusting! Made us wait over an hour for our food and drinks! And had the audacity to have a go at us for questioning where our food and drinks are! Everyone in the restaurant that day 21st September was complaining

The food was cold I did a early order at 13:30 they said my food would get to me for 17:20 it got to 18:00 I phoned restaurant they won’t very helpful they just said it will me soon then hung up on me the food arrived at 18:45 it was cold curry had about two squares of meat at £12 for the curry it was a bit of a joke

We went to Kushi Gidea Park for the grand opening. It was amazing. The restaurant looks amazing, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is so nice. There was a good DJ, dancers and a magician. I will definitely be back!

Such a shame as most of our food was OK but the chicken shashlik was awful. I have had this many times from here and it's always good bit tonight it's debatable it was even chicken. The meat was chewy and slimy. It was yellow rather than the normal vibrant colour and tasted really strange. So.so disappointed.

Myself partner and daughter dined here on Friday evening and it was really really worth the visit. Best Indian we have had couldn’t fault anything. The food and service was amazing will definitely make it a regular place to eat out

Butter Naan bread served me un cooked one, when I was chewing chicken curry that was like plastic. We walked out with £96 bill for 2 of us. NOT WORTHY AND AVOID THIS RESTAURANT PLEASE

100% recommend, our new go to local Indian restaurant. Took my fiancé here for Valentines and it sure didn't disappoint! There was a live singer who was great, food was amazing and the service was equally as good. Food is really good but ordering for delivery is appalling. I’ve not yet had an order arrive on time. Give the benefit of the doubt and try again just to be disappointed by the long wait for delivery. Unfortunate as generally the food is good but won’t risk a 45min + delay again

I’ve used Kushi on many occasions … last night’s takeaway delivery was absolutely awful from start to finish. Rang and ordered 2 mains and 3 side orders. Pay in good faith and was assured the delivery would be 45 minutes. 1 hour 30 minutes later after 2 follow up calls and last call was rudely advised that it’s a Friday night and they are extremely busy to be patient !!! The food arrived stone cold and missing one of the mains. I rang the restaurant the 3rd time to report it missing to be told, I wasn’t loud enough on the phone so the order was missed and did I want it sent out advising me it could take up to an hour to reach me. Shocking service. So I declined . Will think twice when ordering my next curry because the custom wasn’t valued in my opinion

We hosted our registry lunch at Kushis and it was such a wonderful experience. Siam was our point of contact and was simply brilliant. Always on hand and delivered a 5 Star service from organising through to the event. Kushis has become our favourite local for takeaway as the quality and flavour of food is unmatched. We highly reccomend!

Ordered a takeaway. The food was nice, but the service was very poor. Delivery took well over an hour and finally arrived missing a lot of items. We called, and it took another hour to send our missing items. They all came stone cold. Expected so much more for an £80 order. Can't recommend and won't be using them again.

All back to normal! Had a bad experience with Kushi last year but ordered again and it was fab. The food was fresh and delicious and delivered on time. The best takeaway curry in our area.

This was our goto Indian takeaway. How ever last to orders had food missing . 1st was missing a rice dish. 2nd had pots for poppadoms but no poppadoms. Let's get this checked before customer gets order.

Always very good. Last night's delivery, wasn't so good.chicken tikka AAM, mossala there was no mango, saag ponieer was runny, mint dip watery no flavour, poppadoms looked like giant bites taken out of them.

I love the food from this restaurant and it never disappoints . It arrived early, well packed and hot.

1st time ordering, food was absolutely lovely, arrived a little early as well which was great. We have been looking for a new favourite, and we have now found it!

Food was delicious as always! It’s a shame the restaurant has removed some of their dishes off the menu but still a good selection of tasty dishes.

Yet another instagram hyped up place. Are these influencers getting paid to say nice things about some places? It’s very sad people read these reviews and end up spending good money to be left disappointed. This the first and last time I read these bogus paid reviews. I’m usually very good with finding food joints for when the lads meet up for a meal. Let’s just say I was left highly embarrassed and felt ashamed. Going to keep this short and simple. We ordered a quite few different items off the menu from starters to mains and side dishes probably about 10-15 items. Quite short and simple everything lacked flavour, completely bland there was nothing not even a hint of salt. The only thing we all liked or was the peshwari naan. Just like any other peshwari naan anywhere else. Two stars for staff, service was great can’t fault it. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this

Dreadful, we ordered at 7pm Saturday 8th April, we called at 8pm to ask for an update, we were told it was on its way. A few minutes later they call to say actually no it’s not on it’s way they are just waiting for driver to come back and get it. 8:30pm the order finally arrives, 1 main meal incorrect (asked for chicken biriyani and got lamb) and they forgot the naan bread. We called them to complain as by this point we were obviously annoyed and it was laughable, they started to raise their voices and said they are very busy and Uber eats (where we ordered it from) shouldn’t deliver to our post code… baring in mind Uber stated a 30-50 min delivery estimate (to which they said no it says 1 hour - like we were lying when we can see the screen in front of us? Told them we would send a screen shot if they like lol). Food was like warm and average. Safe to say won’t be ordering again, sounds like reading other reviews we aren’t alone and if something goes wrong they take zero accountability. I’d ask in future if you really are that busy, don’t accept the order, simple as that. Thanks for ruining our takeaway night 👍🏻

Order at 17:26, arrived at 19:25, called the restaurant and they said driver is on their way, no apology from restaurant nor the delivery driver regarding lateness, also my paid for poppadoms were missing from the order, won't be re-ordering.

Not happy with the service I got on this occasion from Kushi. First of all, the delivery driver mentioned when delivering my food “we don’t normally deliver to your door”, so were they expecting me to collect on the street? Plus the delivery times way off, although the food came early, it was cold which I found very odd. A vast contrast from my first experience with this restaurant. Don’t think I’ll be ordering again from this restaurant sadly.

We had many issues with Kushi tonight. We ordered pretty much every starter to have a pick night. Food was stone cold no heat whatsoever. The Bhaji were so hard they hurt out teeth. The pastry was not fresh tasted old. We ordered veg and meat samosas but all containers said veg so our vegetarian friend almost bit into a meat samosas. Had my wife up all night due to non fresh ingredient and could taste bad eggs Normally have lovely mains here maybe starters are a no go

Good food as always from Kushi but delivery was delayed. I was updated of this on the app so delayed my own meal time so no dramas.

Highly recommended by my work collegues as the best Indian in Romford, I have to disagree, even though it was delivered early the food was just warm, and pretty bland. My tandoori wings where tasteless, I was under the impression that tandoori chicken is red not black, once through the protective shell the meat was dry and yellow. My work mates may recommend this place, However I will not.
