THE CHIPPY in East Lindsey

OLD POST....After eating here NO where can compare. Best in the world in my opinion and I don't give praise easily, staff are super friendly, this was my feedback a few years ago, after yesterday's experience I couldn't leave my old review without an UPDATE sadly I have had bigger fish fingers then the fish bought yesterday, WHAT A SHAME

I don't usually rate Skegness chipshops... Stale greasy and inedible. Walked past this chip shop and wow. Fish made to order, huge portion and tasting absolutely amazing. By far the best I've had ❤️

Fish cooked to order always excellent staff very pleasant and friendly

Went to this place waited 45 minutes for our food when we was told it would be 5 minutes. took food to the carvan and opened it up the kids was cold and they was food missing when asking for a refund for the cold food and missing food they become verbal after time of proving our point we got some of a refund. id avoid with all costs alot of people had the same of simlar issues as us too.

Nice wee chippy with nice staff, has benches outside so you can eat your chips looking at the sea, reasonably priced with good selection of food , defiantly worth a trip to after you've been to the pub

Nice food but expensive, cheaper at cheers chippie and just as good

I have never found it open says it is on website drive up closed lots of excuses no opening times on shop door apparently opend yesterday but didn't know shoddy way to run a business

Not open... June 7th,says on your website, open till 9 pm... I wanted to give zero stars but couldn't get on if I did.. I realise this is early in the season but don't advertise you're open if you're not... I don't understand what's happening with places like yours... you either want the trade or not, obviously you don't... We weren't the only people who came to you tonight

Not open at 17:20 on Weds 18th May when Google says open. Unable to suggest different open times.

In Skegvegas for Easter …..this was the best food we had all weekend, great Fish cooked to order and loads of chips! Much love to the hard working staff! Come on you Haddock🐟🐟🐟

This is the worst chip shop I've ever been to .the fish was really over cooked and the chips were just scraggy bits.very expensive to.avoid .

Well the chips was nice, shame there wasn't a bap to go with my chips and cost a little more than expected but the chips was nice

This must be the best plaice to buy fish and chips in skegness and they will even deliver them to your place.

Lovely fish &chips but it says on your website,must wear masks but no one was except me as I have health problems and the tables wasn't wiped down,won't put me off visiting though,I,'ll just pick a quiet time.

Would of been no stars but one star is the minimum so found it fitting. The rudest staff I have ever come across, I think before flaunting “This is MY chippy” to my question about opening hours the owner needs lessons on customer service. Do not eat here, STAY AWAY or go and feel belittled, disrespected and spoken to in a patronising way.

This place had friendly service that was extremely quick. Chips weren't overpriced and were really good.

The food is disgusting. Over charged me. Very rude when challenged. Won’t ever go back! Reporting to trading standards. Have pics and kept a sample.

Amazing place, some things are cooked to order but worth the wait. Never had a bad meal from here and portions are decent sized as well as lovely tasting.

Flew in today from Northampton. Cracking Fish & Chips. Perfect crispy batter and colour. Tried a few Chippies on previous visits, but this comes tops... Will definitely be back again!

Just tried the chippy lovely fish cooked to order all done in beef dripping, friendly staff I would recommend this chippy highly 😁

Went in last night with the wife we go in alot over the years under new management now family run great people great food give it a whirl

i am absolutely gobsmacked. i went in here yesterday and i’m just absolutely gobsmacked and i fell and i loved it. big pies.

Great chippy, with some nice outdoor seating. They also do quite good Meal deal offers, it can be very busy at times so expect to wait to be served or receive your food orders. However it's worth it!

The best chippy !! Great guy that works here, great with kids too.

Cooked fresh. The fish was the size of a small whale. Very enjoyable
