The Chip 'n Fish in Belfast

Just had a large portion of chips with my family. Excellent.

Recently moved to the area. Haven't had a fish n chip in AGES because i hate spending £14 in local places. This was absolutely refreshing. The fish and chip was fairly priced ( Under £10, with sauce!!!!) Cant fault it. And i love my fish and chips.

We got food after Belsonic and the ladies working were so lovely and the food was beautiful!!!!!

This place has went down hill. The food is terrible. They’ve cut the portions smaller. They must fry the other food in the same oil and the fish as pasties and chips taste like fish. The prices for portions is absolutely insane. I definitely would not recommend. Terrible 😞

The fish was very nice it just needed dried for a minute and it would have been perfect

Great fish and chips. Good quantity and nicely prepared. Could only take cash, but when paying with notes they had no change.

Chips were like eating rocks and the sausage was that salty it could of gave u a heart attack.

Decent place but staff aren't the nicest, unless you're someone they already know. They always act like they're doing you a favour just by serving you.

I have been to many a chippy in the United kingdom But the one here in Belfast has nice staff Good value food which also tastes good Quality Quantity Value for money Presentation And service This is what you will get here and what you should get everywhere They are trying to keep the prices low But eventually they will have to go up This is a poor part of East Belfast with new comers coming to live here from around the world keeping it affordable is respected by myself and those new tonthe area So grab a meal here and enjoy Paddywagonz

Confusing menu, contradicts with out of date specials. No prices listed in store. Cooked fresh, small to average portion of chips. Middle of the pack chip shop, with average taste. Beware, they only take cash

Huge portion, very oily. I wasn't able to finish it all, so I wish there was half portion available at half the price. No price on the menu but it was 7.50£ for only the fish and chip at this moment. Not my cup of tea, but it might be yours.

My chicken was over cooked and burnt and wasn't cook in the inside. It was nice except for the burnt bits and all

Lovely fish an chips also big portions

We sought out the 'best' fish and chips and were very pleased with the food here. After a nice day in Belfast we wanted some filling food and Fish and Chips were high on the list. During Covid time, we were impressed with the operation, order given and asked politely to wait outside where the wonderful lady who served us worked to ensure we had what we wanted, cheerfully and safely. The fish was very tasty. Fresh Cod, crisp, with a very nice batter, thin and crispy - which we like - and fabulous chips. Fantastic portion ( we had the 'supper') and definitely deserving of the 'best' title.

Real friendly staff and food as great

This is for me one of the best fish and chips take away in Belfast. Good prices and good fish size. Not just the fish but the rest of meals they sell are very good, tasty and big portions. I always recommend this place to all my new friends. I specially like cod, pasties and scampi. Cheesy chips are also good in this place.

Sometimes I just can not face eating, when I do I head here they always have something to tempt me. Not just me either there are people from all over Europe munching on what they serve, if you do not believe me call in and try the food, I can see a branch opening up in China quite soon :-)

Their fish is really good I loved it.

Wouldn’t accept my paper Bank of Ireland £5 which I thought was a bit odd. Other than that - standard fish ‘n’ chip food, popular with locals. Nice enough.

Got out here on sat 24th feb 2018. There was woman behind counter in her late 40s mid 50.s hair pure dyd blonde She was the most ignorant person I have ever came across in any shop chippy etc.and for the food was sawky slapped up fish and chips. Plus she charge me £2.50 dearer than she was meant to but I never even mentioned as her face was tripping her as it was. Now if she is the owner she wants to sack herself as she Cleary didn't want to be there working. And if not the owner the owner wants get shot this woman with face like hers I'm sure not to many people would like to order good from. Face was tripping her what happen to good coustmer service. 😊 it's good to smile at your costume. I certainly wouldn't go back foods terrible and worker to. Food better else where

Massive fish well cooked nice chips batter a bit soggy but cant complain as staff are lovely & portions so large I couldn't finish it despite being ravenous!

Good chip shop. For a fiver they'll give you a good portion of chips and fish
