Great wee bar and staff were lovely

I was looking forward to coming to Angel and Two Bibles as part of my Belfast trip. I was very much intrigued by the idea of songs-inspired cocktails, and I was not disappointed. I had the "Strawberry Fields Forever" from the Old Testament, which was really, really good. It was well presented (so pretty!) and came with a gummy strawberry on the rim. The prices are good as well, however the place is really small so I would recommend booking in advance.

What a gem to find in Belfast. Really nice interior. Menu is fun, and every cocktail we had was delicious. We ended up staying on and having more and more because we loved it! What made it even better was our server Amanda - absolute legend, great banter!

An excellent wee drinks spot in the city centre! The interior space has a cool, intimate vibe with fun decor. The terrace is great too, tables are covered overhead and there are heaters, making it a nice place to be seated even in the often not so nice Belfast weather. The menu has unique and interesting options, and staff are great at making recommendations based on your preferences. I am yet to be disappointed by a drink that I have been recommended! And in my opinions, drinks are great value given the quality. Service is great and staff are lovely and helpful. As the place is only small it can often be busy so I find it’s usually best to book a table and arrive on time to avoid disappointment!!

Amazing atmosphere! The cocktails are to die for and it is by far the best cocktail bar in Belfast! Good variety on the menu. The atmosphere is very welcoming and intimate, the staff is very nice and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Underwhelming on all fronts. These guys could do with a total refresher. On how to greet guests and what good customer service looks like. Right through to how to make, and serve, great drinks. Shaken or stirred, the cocktails failed to impress.

Great place however our experience was spoiled by the very surly and unwelcoming waiter who from start to finish made it his mission to ensure we do not return. We were a little late for our booking and we were very apologetic for that, there did not appear to be a surge of customers waiting for a table and therefore we felt the bad attitude was unwarranted.

Best cocktail place in Belfast. Neil (probably killing your name) and Maria are geniuses. You ain’t going to find an interesting, fun and delicious cocktail menu like theirs. Plus they will treat you like family. Beautiful bar and atmosphere! If you like Paloma’s you have to try their take on it.

Excellent speakeasy with two cocktail lists - their take on classics (Old Testament) and their creative new ideas (New Testament). If you appreciate proper cocktails focused on quality ingredients, this is one of the better places in Belfast.

Service was fine, staff where friendly and explained the menu well, easy to book online, though I disagree with the £10pp cancellation fee with less than 24hr notice. Good selection of cocktails on the menu though of the few we tried didn't taste unique or as special as they made are made out to be, couldn't taste the alcohol in any of them either. Very small room that had zero atmosphere, went for the hyped experienced, left disappointed and wouldn't go back.

Whiskey Club is a great way to sample different distilleries product. Great whiskey cocktails. Nice cosy atmosphere.

Went out to celebrate my birthday with my partner. Just me and him. We where sat in a corner near the mixing bar. The cocktails where nice, rather pricey but you paying for the art of the mixology. However the end of the night kinda left me feeling like we were being kicked out and made me feel like I couldn't have a conversation with my partner for the rest of the evening. I have autism so I maybe reading people wrong. When I got any first cocktail it has sticky sours on the side of the glass which I didn't like because it made my hand sticky when I was ordering my second cocktail I explained and said can I please not have sticky stuff on the next one please that was ok. We where only half way through our second cocktail and another waitress came asking if we'd like anything I said shots and I turned to my partner and he said well I suppose we have half an hour left. The waitress said "okay I'll get you the Bill". I noticed that everyone else got bowls of popcorn but we didn't, we where singled out. So I guess they didn't like us for some bizarre reason. We where not loud and we where not getting on like ejits, just enjoying my partner having conversation. we have two kids on the spectrum too more severe than me and this was our first night out in 7 months so I am a little annoyed by this. I could understand if we where being Rude or unruly but we weren't. Maybe it was because I was pointing random things out about the place and the staff didn't like me pointing but I was telling my partner that there was a mayor of Halloween on the shelf at the bar and on Instagram the decorator I was looking at for our wedding venue was decorating the bar with Christmas baubles on the ceiling... Now looking back as I write this I think they may have listened in on our conversations and didn't like us that's why she was keen on getting the bill and getting rid of us. We left without questioning this and headed home half and hour early which was disappointing because I wanted to make the most of the evening off.

Great vibe. Located up the side alley with the angel logo on the gate. Great environment, staff helpful. Cocktails great. Price appropriate.

Loved the cocktails and a really lovely atmosphere to have a couple of drinks with friends. Seen so many people show up and try to get a table without reservation - they were frequently turned away. So definitely book!

I don’t often leave reviews but these guys are worth it. I’ve wanted to visit here for ages and ages, it’s a very cool speak easy bar which I’ve known about for a while and they did not disappoint me. Drinks are amazing and very creative, alongside some A* service from Neil and Monika. It happened to be my birthday and they really ‘blew expectations out of the water’ as they say… Also a nice atmosphere inside and outside, blankets and heat lamps are provided. Thankyou so much guys, can’t wait to come back. ❤️

I usually love this place but left with a sour taste last night. The usually nice manager must have been having a bad day. Don't think we'll be back neither will I recommend to any clients/friends.

I don’t have the time to go on about how perfect of a night we had here. The cocktails are all so affordable for the amount and quality of liquor you’re getting and the environment is lovely but wow chatting to the manager and waitress all night about everything from cocktails to the bands in the menu, james bond and beyond made this so memorable. We were in there until closing on a sunday night having cocktails chosen for us based on our tastes and learning about the art of making + deciding on the recipes for the drinks. It was our favourite night in Belfast by far and the team deserve all the praise they get. I can’t wait to revisit!

A victim of the hype , had heard so much about this place so maybe that was the reason I was underwhelmed. They have gotten a lot right but for me it was lacking something. The cocktails just did not have a wow factor. I don't think I'll be back.

We stopped in here for a friend's 40 and the staff were friendly, the bar itself was quirky but quite loud for the space. Cocktails were nice but wernt as moreish as another cocktail bar in the city centre. Ours were £12ea, which is pretty average for Belfast. The only thing that left a sour taste was the hidden £4.80 service charge on the receipt. Not alot since we only stayed for one cocktail before dinner plans elsewhere, but I can imagine it adding up had we stayed longer. Overall its a nice place, the staff are lovely, really funny and pleasant. The cocktail list is extensive with many original and unique creations. I think it's a must try experience but I'm not sure, if we were up again, if we would go out of our way again to visit.

We had a wonderful afternoon in this exclusive little bar, tasting Tasmanian Whiskies. It's perfect for this kind of event.

Really pretty place. Rooftop terrace is covered too so nice when raining. Some of the drinks are a little flashy and pricey for how little you get. (Each cocktail is £10.50 so choose wisely to get more alcohol for your money). The staff are great and were really attentive to our table of 7. We had pre booked our table and I would advise doing that, it's a small space and is quite popular. Would definitely go back again.

This has to be one of Belfast's best secrets! Only accessible on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 pm (booking is strongly advised, if not essential), it is an experience to behold. Hidden down an obscure alleyway, the only clue to its existence is a pair of neon angel wings hanging above a Tommy gun-proof door. You buzz for permission to enter, then climb the stairs to a wee slice of heaven. The bar is theatrically prohibition-era super-funk, with the coolest little roof terrace to boot. Concentrating on trendy cocktails from Old and New Testament menus (hence the name), the super-friendly and very knowledgeable staff also serve crafty beers by the can. The addition of snacking popcorn on the tables and 1920s tunes with a modern twist drifting around adds to the Chicago-esk speakeasy-feel about the place. Do yourself a favour and check this joint out... but make sure to book your two-hour slot beforehand to avoid disappointment 😉

Unbelievable! Nice cosy and for Belfast cocktails are priced well £10,50. They have table service definitely recommended booking on their website as they are extremely busy but definitely be back! Staff are fantastic, service slow sometimes but worth the wait!

Really lovely cocktail bar, staff were lovely, really approachable and knowledgeable. Cocktails were delicious. We were sat in the booth, loved the baubles on the ceiling made it feel very cosy. It was busy so book in advance. Highly recommend

I've visited A&2B 4 times since it opened and I honestly can't fault it. Wonderfully cosy enviroment, superb cocktail choices, incredible knowledge from the staff....I could go on. Such a great addition for Belfast's bar scene. If you like cocktails and lovely surroundings, you'll not be disappointed.

The bar looks amazing and the drinks are more alcohol than ice (for a change). Been here 3 times now, and never disappoints. The cocktails are some of the best I’ve had, with a good range, would recommend the Warsaw to anyone going. Service is next to none and are more than happy to recommend or go off menu for you.

I genuinely can’t fault this place! Neill and the team are beyond helpful and so considerate. I went for my birthday recently in November and they could not be more attentive, even with a busy table of 9 of us. We have been several times celebrating different events and even just calling in for one or two before a big night out. The creativity and professionalism of this place is exactly what Belfast has always needed and I’m thrilled that we have it. Can’t rate it highly enough and to keep prices as competitive as they do is brilliant. Always a massive thank you to A2B

Cosy little cocktail bar that we came across in Belfast city. The cocktails were really good and the staff were so friendly. We didn’t get to stay around for long as we had other plans but would definitely come back next time. It’s a nice speakeasy cocktail bar and has an extensive cocktail menu too. Would definitely recommend!

Stunning cocktail bar massive menu and easily the nicest cocktails ive had. Id highly recommend booking a table though we walked in and was asked to come back 2 hours later so we drank downstairs in the deers head and ended up pretty drunk before getting in lol

Just had a drink here for girls evening out. Not impressed. Cold environment, bitter cocktails. My friend caught her leg on a nail protruding from a table! Complained to staff who laughed it off then said we looked after you!! Can you believe it! Paid full price on our drinks. Won’t be back

Not local but stopped by, by chance, when trying to find somewhere we could sit in the cathedral quarter, late on a Saturday night. Well thought out menu, great aesthetic and good service. Really impressed overall and wish we had somewhere like this in brighton.

Absolutely loved this place. The range of cocktails is amazing and the decor is lovely. I had the 'good old fashioned lover boy' from the new testament menu and it was so good. Will definitely be back. I would recommend booking a table if you want to visit as it seems popular.
