At Ragin' Ramen You choose your noodles, there are 3 different ones, the base of your Ramen : chicken, pork, beef or vegan and you can add extras... The restaurant is nice, the atmosphere is pleasant. I ordered "Light Yagami" the skewer is delicious it's a chicken skewer grilled and caramelized, there is corn, nori... the ingredients are fresh and the broth is very good it's comforting 😋😉 I ate there twice and both times I loved it. (Petite déception sur les 2 dernières fois où j'y suis allé, c'était trop salé, pourquoi ne pas salé un peu moins et laisser a chaqu'un la possibilité de rajouter comme bon lui semble ?)

I visited with a friend for lunch. We both had vegan ramen and desserts. The Ramen was good a lovely coconut milk broth loads of noodles and tofu but we both would have liked more veg, carrots or broccoli perhaps. There were bamboo shoots sweetcorn and spring onions in it but needed a bit more IMO. The desserts very great highly recommended and the staff were really lovely. We will definitely be back.

A ramen shop in the center of Belfast. The atmosphere was difficult to enter, but the inside of the store had a unique and nice atmosphere. It's interesting that the ramen menu is named after Japanese anime. I ordered Astro Boy. The noodles were delicious, and the soup was unusual in that it had star anise and Japanese pepper, but it was very delicious. The sweet and spicy fried chicken topped with chashu was especially delicious. One of the most delicious ramen in Europe.

Had the light yagami I wasn't impressed at all , chicken was if very poor quality especially considering it is the only part of the dish to cost much , very little of it which I am sure afterwards was a negative 🧐 . It was lunchtime and quite busy but to there was no doubt I need feel rushed as soon as I finished which wasn't a problem after using the toilet which has a working fan for quite soon time leaving a stained wall and an unpleasant smell

Lives up to its name. First you're ragin cause the service is ridiculously slow. Then you eat ramen. I would say the wait is only slow for them to get your order and to receive you're drinks. Other than that the food is delicious

Great customer service and delicious noodles! Cutlery given to us was not clean and table we sat on was sticky and clearly not cleaned thoroughly Although food was amazing, I felt it was quite expensive for the portion size. This would be the only thing that would stop me coming back frequently. Overall had a wonderful meal, recommend to everyone who wants ramen. Will be back again.

A great experience from start to finish. All the members of staff that we dealt with were really friendly and helpful, but the real star of the show is the food. The ramen was absolutely packed with flavour. I'll be back next time I'm in Belfast for sure.

Seriously delicious vegan ramen, and they offer gluten free noodles. The curry kabocha ramen was our favorite, and the Tokyo Twisters curly fries were excellent. The Sailor Moon ramen (pictured) was tasty, but not as good as the kabocha. Make a reservation because it fills up quick!

Excellent service and really nice staff however let down slightly by the food. To be fair I ordered the Taco Ramem which is difficult to objectively measure as it is a unique dish. Having said this the ramnen broth itself was average, the taco meat tasted dry and relatively flavourless. Some of the other Ramen dishes I saw being served looked good but for me fell short of a fesh and flavoursome ramen. Good but not great.

The ramen here is out of the world , there is limited but crazy option for the ramen, and the broth is what makes the the ramen taste so flavourful, they also have good choices of beverages, alcoholic and non alcoholic

Food was nice but felt my raijin was a far smaller portion compared to other ramen dishes ordered. The 1/2 egg is insane to me, anywhere else I've been you get a whole egg silly thing but seems so stupid to me. Broth for raijin was delicious and pork was nice and tender

A friend recommended this place and damn what a recommendation it was, absolutely delicious, I had the Raijin Ramen noodles and the Chicken K-pops and enjoyed every bite of it, so much flavour. Service was spot on and a great atmosphere.

Tried the Raijin Ramen, the one using pork meat, tasted really great, the broth was on the balance of being creamy & umami. The Astro Boy was really nice as well, the pork was very crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside The service was really nice as well

Unfortunately My chicken ramen tasted like I drank straight sesame oil (I love sesame oil) but it was honestly all oil which I did share with the staff. We loved the staff and atmosphere, the fries were good and my husband liked his taco/ramen

We came for food last Sunday, Food portion is ok but it took some time to be served like 30 mins, soup was a bit bland but wasn’t too bad for me it’s still acceptable. Service was superb and I love the ambience.

Wow! I enjoyed a really delicious Ramen soup with a crispy tofu. My dish was vegan and it tasted wonderful. The staff was excellent- very friendly and attentive. Loved my experience overall. One slight aspect I would have craved for here would have been fresh, self-made ramen noodles. 🍜 but I also know that it’s not always possible. Despite the „not self-made noodles“ 100% recommendation to everyone fancying a tasty lunch/ dinner. Thanks so much to the staff!

Food was out of this world, service was brilliant. We ate at about half 2 and got seated right away. Food came out quickly and piping hot! Loved the choice of sour soft drinks. Couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough. We will be back soon!

Addicted to this place. Friendly, attentive Profesional staff who have been accommodating and have always went the extra mile even when the place has been extremely busy. Great atmosphere, music is always on point. Outstanding food at a more than reasonable price. Especially in the current economic climate. Had an absolute feast today and shocked at the bill, in the best possible way. Couldn't rate the place higher!

Hands down the best ramen I've ever had. Pictured is the astro boy with an added soy egg and cabbage. Delicious! Also friendly staff and great service. You can't go wrong. You might need to book though as it's quite popular

While I was hoping to try your food, I’ve been told you don’t accept walk ins anymore as low on food with 70% of tables empty and only serving bookings. Laughable to hear that at 2030pm on a Saturday night. Next time stick a note on your door and don’t make me wait in the lobby. #timewasters

Been here over 10-15 times. Best ramen place on this island. Had ramen in London and few other countries and they don’t compare. Best place ever. Checked out the lower reviews and felt light lacing up some gloves. Good job guys!

Excellent atmosphere and food! Totoro taco ramen, another level.

Comfortably the best food I had while in Belfast. A mix of traditional style ramen with some more eclectic options, in a really cool surrounding, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The service was super speedy, and I had a great vantage point in the window to watch the nightlife. I had the Totoro Taco + Ramen - to be clear, that's one dish: a serving of noodles in a deeply savoury beef birria broth, alongside three chunky beef barbacoa tacos for dipping if you like. The tacos were packed with beef, molten mozzarella and topped with a fruity yuzu salsa. It was a real departure from a traditional ramen, but a superb one. It wasn't gimmicky, just delicious. I also had a portion of chicken K-Pops - chunks of chicken thigh in a glassy batter drizzled with maple syrup gojuchang and mayo. Crispy, juicy and very more-ish. It was a big portion, too, so it's lucky that I'm greedy! Also, special mention to the veggies and vegan options - 2 out of 6 of the mains were vegan, and both sounded great. A crispy smoked tofu tonkotsu, and a katsu breaded pumpkin option in a curry broth. The sides could all be veggie and vegan, too, with oyster mushroom options instead of the fried chicken version. I only have 5 stars to give, but rest assured, I'll be back next time I'm in town.

The place is a bit small and crowded, but with great atmosphere and service. Small menu so you don't have to spend hours deciding what you want and it's Vegan friendly, which was appreciated by some in our group. Would live to see this place expand to a bigger location.

Food here is so flavoursome and good. First time tonight and I'd say, I'll be back before the week is out. Honest good food.

Delicious food and excellent service

We had the beef tacos and noodle soup. My impression that it was fusion of Japanese Mexican food.. The tacos didn’t taste Mexican and the noodle soup didn’t taste Japanese! I was a bit confused. The cocktails looked nice but I didn’t try any and I have seen orders of chicken that looks worth trying too .. P.s I lived in north China for 5 years and i am used to really spicy noodle soups there Sichuan style etc but this noodle soup is just off balance. We both ate the noodles and tacos but didn’t have any of the broth. Normally in the noodle soup the broth is the main ingredient so its a pity that was off balance with the seasoning. I noticed people next to me ordered the beef they did the same .. ate the noodles left the broth too. The service was very slow. Slow to take orders and slow to bring the food! The atmosphere cozy ! Can be busy and packed but clean! Overall, not bad but not impressive either. Just ok

Cute, trendy place that was great for people watching, but unfortunately the food wasn’t great and even more unfortunately I felt sick right after eating here and ended up spending one of my only three nights in Belfast back in my hotel room sick instead of out exploring the city.

Stock cube and noodles, not real ramen. The broth is watery, with no flavour. For the price, I'd be expecting a real bowl of ramen. Kamakura or Zen are much better.

Me and some friends had been very excited to dine at ‘Ragin’ Ramen’ for some time, but were sorely disappointed by our experience. I don’t often leave bad reviews, working in hospitality & service myself and knowing the struggle, but this was truly one of my poorest dining experiences. Upon our arrival, several waiting staff passed us back and forth without seating us or letting us know when we would be sat. When we were sat upstairs, we were escorted to a table and promptly left without any indication to menus or ordering- it didn’t seem so poor to begin with, perhaps they were busy in the evening. But after waiting for 20 minutes before even being approached by a waiter (which we had to indicate quite obviously), we were starting to become impatient. After this, we waited for around 30-40 minutes for our food to arrive, and had to ask again when it would be ready, and still was another 15 minutes before we were served. The restaurant was not at full capacity and there were many free tables, and for a table of three that ordered the same ramen and no starters or side, the timing seemed ridiculous. The waitress that served us promptly took her break after taking our order at the table beside us, and perhaps her lack of communication was the derivative of our painfully slow service. When the food arrived, we were starving and excited to eat. The portion size seemed awfully lacklustre compared to other ramen restaurants in Belfast, and the flavour and quality itself was just as lacking- the ramen was flavourless, cold, and even the chilli oil added myself didn’t improve it. My partners food came with ingredients he hadn’t asked for. When I went downstairs, the open kitchen showed low quality ingredients, like instant ramen noodle packets for the noodles. For the amount we spent here, I was very disappointed and frustrated, but remained polite. Not one apology for any of this, or check-backs at all. We had been here for over an hour, scoffing down our food in 10 minutes after waiting so long, and so when I asked for the bill I asked a server if we could have any adaptations or items deducted from our bill due to how long we had waited, and he told us he would ask his manager. The said waitress that had taken our order and sat down earlier in the evening came to us and told us that she had checked and because it was only a ‘20-30 minute break’, she would not make any additions or deductions for us, despite the wait being much longer than this and her tone very impolite. Not wanting to make a fuss, but very unimpressed with the woeful service and rudeness, I sourly accepted and paid the bill. The decor is nice. That’s about it for me. My bill was paid in full, but to any others who were as excited as me to try this place, I don’t recommend it at all. Try Kamakura on Donegall Pass (amazing ramen and sushi) or Ginza Kitchen on Lisburn Road (excellent cocktails, sushi and donburi, as well as ramen) for the same price, more variety with excellent dietary options and much better quality/service.

Met here with friends on a Saturday afternoon. Shown to our table which we had booked however server left and was 10 minutes before they returned for a drinks order. Seating is quite cramped but atmosphere is quite mellow. Food was tasty but not amazing. Had the Totoro Taco & Ramen. Taco’s were excellent although slightly over seasoned for my liking. Ramen was a bit meh. Side order of Tokyo Twisters were ok but basically the Curley fries with chilli, onion and mayo. Cobra was on draught and £6 a pint which was good. Would return but not in a rush.

The location, decoration, and atmosphere of Ragin' Ramen were nice. The food, when it finally arrived, was good. However, we waited almost an hour for our ramen, and the staff failed to provide an explanation. Strangely, customers who arrived after us were served before us. While the overall experience was positive in terms of the location, decoration, and food quality, the extended waiting time was off putting. Not sure I'd come back.

The best ramen I have had in Belfast, felt like I was back in Shibuya having some! I think due to its popularity you may end up digitally queuing (on your phone) at certain times, but it can be worth the wait!

Honestly… BLOWN AWAY!!! If you can’t decide on what to eat, have the ‘Astro Boy’… as a South African I can safely say this is some of the best tasting meat you’ll ever have!! Staff are friendly and fast. Sake was excel too! PS: I must say the music was class throughout our night… vibin, and eating incredible ramen!

Seating was cramped up against a window. The waitresses and staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was too salty, making it impossible to finish. My wife couldn't finish hers either due to the saltiness of the rajin ramen we both opted for.

Ragin’ Ramen is a ramen restaurant located right in the centre of town, only a few minutes from Victoria Square or the Cathedral Quarter. To start I would say book in advance as it can get very busy at peak times. The interior and the branding is class, lots of time and effort has went into it and it looks the part. To start we had edamame beans which were steamed and removed from the pod which was handy. There are two vegan ramen options on the menu. We tried both! The Sailor Moon, which has a delicious creamy broth with a large quantity of toppings which was fab. Also the Kabocha which has the Japanese pumpkin katsu on top which was fantastic - I wasn't sold by the idea but loved the delivery. This came with a warm curry style broth which was also equally delicious in its own way. My advice would be to try both and see which you like best! Just to note these broths don't taste like the other ramen broths I have had before but the overall flavour and toppings are powerful. Along side this we tried out the k-pop oyster mushrooms and I would come here simply for this dish. It might be one of the best oyster mushroom dishes I have had, everything from the toppings to the batter was perfect. This is a must try for mushroom fans. The service was good with consistent checking in from the staff. Overall I couldn't recommend this place more and in this cold weather you honestly couldn't pick anything more perfect 😊 can't wait to get back!

Really great Ramen. I have only ever had the Astro Boy and it is salty, very rich but delicious and comforting for a cold winters day. The pork belly in the broth is the only pork belly I've ever enjoyed. Plum wine, cocktails, couple of craft beer options and very nice staff.

Legit. I've eaten plant-based ramen in Ramen Alley, Kyoto, and it has nothing on Ragin' Ramen. The K-pop mushrooms were amazing, and the Sailor Moon ramen has got to be the most flavourful bowl I've eaten this year. My meat-eating dining partner agreed their meal was well worth the visit.

Quite a busy place, even on a Monday evening. We had to wait for about 45 minutes to sit, but then everything else was quite quick.

Noodles were perfect, broth was flavorful, prices were decent. Would def recommend! Good music too, and a nice window-facing counter for people-watching if solo dining

Please don’t get me wrong , the service and atmosphere was really great, wonderful even, the whole experience at the restaurant was lovely. Genuinely even the Sake was lovely and the cocktails too, the food looked incredible and tasted great, however all SIX members of our party were very very badly sick a couple of hours later and we all had different dishes. So despite everything being nice I wouldn’t be eager to go back again I’m still not very well.

Food was absolutely disgusting, fatty and greasy meat in the ramen dishes and the mushroom dish we shared as a side was just as greasy. Broth in the ramen was also horrifically salty. Service was painfully slow and even though we booked a table in advance we had to sit on stools in the window. It was extremely disappointing and way overpriced for tiny portions of barely edible food. Absolutely horrible experience and food. If you want decent ramen in Belfast, go to Kamakura or Ginza Kitchen instead.

Amazing hidden spot in the city center of Belfast. From the service to the food everything was amazing. I had Totoro Taco & Ramen and was absolutely outstanding. A really good plus is that they have a great Gluten Free Noodle that matches pretty well with the dishes.
