Chicken burger and chicken strips were slimy chips were black garlic dip was vile didn't taste like garlic at all

First time trying it food was first class

chicken was completely undercooked. literally inedible. definitely won't be ordering again

Wow, best kebab I've had in a long time. A massive portion needed a ladder to climb my mixed steak kebab was very tasty. I'll be back.

Usually I enjoy this place but tonight was a little off. The fish and chips was very soggy, not the warmest and the bag that it came it was literally dripping onto the floor. The onion rings are worse and very mushy. The chips were alright regardless of the sogginess but the fish was barely edible.

We never got it 😢and took our money

Food quality was awful. Blackened chips and soggy batter. My daughter also found some kind of wire in her gravy chip. Do not recommend!

Fish soggy and stone cold - INEDIBLE, missing coke can. Owner told driver to “giver her the Diet Coke we’ve none left”. Stay clear of here if you’re looking a decent chippy.

Told it was on way for half an hour, this chippy is two streets away. The gravy chip was soggy and cold. The sausages were also cold.

Not the drivers fault, but the restaurants. Food was disgusting and took way to long to be delivered. I WANT A REFUND!!

First time ordering and defo the last, thought it would have been nice, considering the reviews.. The burger was burnt, the chips were soggy, and lost count of the many hard crusty ones, forgot the kids drink also the curry was watery!! Waste of money and still hungry kids.

This place is beaut. The owner is one of the nicest men you could meet. Tonight we just had chips and they were the perfect chippy chips, not too greasy or soggy but still crunchy and fluffy inside. We have had the fish and I'm telling you it was about 2 inches thick and so flaky with just the right amount of thin batter that was not even one bit greasy. I would happily recommend all day long.

Food is beautiful here .... staff so friendly ..... big portions good valve for money ..... can get quite busy at times .....my food always cooked to perfection by the lady fryer .......shop spotless .... good to see shop open again ...

Food was just okay. Portion sizes however were terrible. Ordered a large chip and I'd hate to see what the regular is like.

So bad! Burger baps were rock hard and cold, chicken burger was weird, Chips were freezing in the middle, ended up with more sauce in the bag than on the chips. Everything ended up in the bin

Strangely food very poor tonight, the taco chip was only Luke warm which made it horrible and most went in the bin, and paid £4.90 for a large chip that came in a tray instead of usually wrapped up in paper 🤔🤔...very expensive for such a small portion...also a house sauce missing from the same order ( not the first time this has happened) ...overall very disappointed with quality and service 😔

I ordered the chicken kebab meal which is supposed to come in a pitta with chips, salad and a drink. I got a chicken kebab on chips, no pitta or salad and no drink. Food was cold on arrival and had to be reheated. Chicken was not good quality, chips were alright.

Got the gyro and a curry chip. Slapped it all together. Very tasty indeed. Delivered really quickly

Lovely chips, sausages, goujons and curry sauce. Part of the order was missing but they were very apologetic and this was quickly rectified with a free drink as well. Definitely recommend.

Delivery driver couldn’t speak English and got lost which made the delivery late and my food cold. When I got my food the fish wasn’t what I ordered and under cooked. The fish I ordered wasn’t the fish I got. Chips where soggy and stale.

Nice chips and nice burger no complaints from me

Decided to try this new takeaway who have decided to keep the same name of the previous takeaway. Kids cod bites meal was superb and superb portion for kids. Chicken burger meal was lovely aswell. Was a bit concerned about my steak kebab when I seen the meat come out of a plastic container but it was quite nice, good portion but needed more house sauce. Good start and hopefully will continue as the old Chip Inn started off well, then went downhill rapidly, so hopefully this place will go from strength to strength. Friendly owner aswell.

After passing it a lot we decided to order from Chip Inn one weekend. The food was great and really fresh. Order was ready super quick as well for us to collect.

Have walked by here loads and didn't realise the place existed, definitely glad we found this hidden gem. From the customer service to the food it was first class, never tasted so fresh food from a chip shop before, will definitely be returning.. A very welcoming cafe on a cold December day, thank you

Very disappointed with the food very greasy. The fish I got was not nice at all cant even do a battered sausage right they cut it in half what is that about do they not no when it's cooked lol the oil there are cooking with smells like it's been in the fryer for weeks. Will not be back

Ordered at 6pm. One hour later called to ask what was going on, man says that the driver was about to leave. 40 minutes later called again, turns out the driver had delivered to the wrong address and brought the order back to the shop. Around 2 hours later after ordering we get our meal, which was lukewarm with soggy chips. Turns out the order was processed around 1 hour after we called, to the wrong address. Won't be ordering again.

Very unreliable delivery service. Waited well over an hour from wee ordered. Foned two times to be told the driver was on his way. Had to ring a third time to ask to be refunded and told them to keep the food.

Was recommended to try this chippy just recieved my order ordered steakette & other bits couldn't even cut the steakette was completely burnt chips were average to be truthful so won't to in a hurry to return if u pay £20 for food you should be able to eat it

Order on the app for collection, went in at the collection time place was empty (was sitting outside in my car cause if covid) they hadn't even started putting the order together, then while waiting for the chips to cook, bagged up the rest of the order and put it to the side ended up being cold when I got home. Food was average and definitely not worth another visit

I hate this chippy I wit 3 hours for a a chippy

Ordered food for the kids at 5pm,didn't show until after 8pm,was told get a refund but cant because they said it was delivered on time on justeat app,so waiting for my refund next day but still no food or refund and wont answer telephone 🤬 so no food 2 nights in a row and £20 down 🤬

Ordered at 7.30pm it's now 11.10 and it says my food has been delievered..but it hasn't been delievered to this house, trying to call and its constantly busy...paid with my card raged is not the word right now..wont be ordering again

Great wee chippy the chips remind me of chips from my childhood. the taco chip was amazing you wont get better in any other chippy ive tried them all lol My family enjoyed all the food burgers fish and chicken will defo recommend and will be back.

Excellent chippy on the Cregagh Road. I sat in and had the 6oz cheese burger with salad and taco sauce, which was great. Have had many home deliveries from here in recent times too and their fish and chips is brilliant. Worth a visit.

Surprisingly good chicken done in a way that warrants the title of 'Southern-style'.

You know that feeling on Saturday night when you really a fancy a chip? Have had it often but usually ignore it as the reality falls way short of expectation. Passing this place last night and thought I'd try again. My expectation was fulfilled. Gorgeous chips crispy outside, fluffy within and greaseless. Yummy.
