The China House in North Lanarkshire

Found this long dark hair in my food, owner wasn't interested used the poor girl that takes the calls to hide behind and she convinced him to give us a refund. He sent a driver out who put his feet inside my door shouting show me the hair repeatedly while my daughter was sleeping I've never experienced anything like it he then opened the food on his knees outside my door going through it saying where's the hair. I had to tell him to get away from my door. We will never be back again and I advise not ordering they took the food back I wouldn't put it past them to reuse it judging by the way they operate. Avoid this place I'm so disgusted with what I've experienced.

Only place to go for a Chinese carry out in Motherwell.

Probably about the most pointless Chinese in Motherweell. It opens at random times between 4pm and 6pm maybe and closed at random times from 8pm to 10pm. Sometimes they're open, sometimes they're closed. It is genuinely just so hard to understand its easier to just go somewhere else.

Absolutely outstanding chinese food! Struggled to find a Chinese takeaway that done it right but finally found one in this little gem! Large portions and full of flavour and great quality. Will be back!

Excellent varied menu - lots to choose from. Portion sizes huge. Chips were one of the best I've had from a Chinese takeaway and another huge serving. Added extra of 6 vegetable spring rolls was a nice surprise. First visit and definitely won't be the last!

This take away is one of the best in Motherwell. The currys are really hot but very good. They do a good deal for a meal for one which is any two currys and one rice for £7-75. Staff are also very friendly.

Amazing food, we ordered the salt and chilli chicken and it was out of this world, will definitely be our new go to place.

First time we have tried The China House, curry & Kung Po. Outstanding

First time trying. Chicken curry very good. Massive portion of chips. Sweet & sour chicken and the pancake rolls average. Will try again for the curry.

Food is excellent but watch your pockets just been done by £10 always check your change before you close your door on this woman I checked but was denied my change now it does not matter how good the food is you will be done again and again and again 🤬

Have bought food from here a few times and always been lovely before. Not tonight though, can only describe the meal as really bad, chips were overcooked and mostly small dry and very crispy bits. Beef curry, what can I say, the meat wasn't right, it was similar to dried, brittle meat, definitely not fresh. Everything went in the bin.

Love it! Best Chinese takeaway I have tried in Motherwell. Been using it for about 2 years now and not had a bad meal yet.

Consistently great food, fresh made, brilliant service and great portions. Best Chinese takeaway in Motherwell by far! Used this about 6 times since November last year and every meal has been excellent. Also great value for money, and very polite receptionist.

Called 3 times in a row and each time after asking for a delivery i was hung up on. Terrible customer service, the girl answering the phone obviously just couldn't be bothered doing her job.

I would go as far to say this is the best Chinese in motherwell. Chicken curry is brilliant, salt and chilli stuff is amazing and there ribs just fall off the bone. Definitely recommend this Chinese.
