Had a lovely fish supper last night. Chips were so fresh. Single sausage was great too. Rarely get takeaways but this was great

Had fish and fritters both were absolutely first class. The fish tasty, moist and perfectly cooked with crispy batter. Really well done for running an exceptional traditional chippy …so difficult to find.

Pay for 2 chicken salads and there was only 4 wee tiny slices on each one that's 2 times that happened now will not be back used to be the best salad but not now will not be back

Woman on phone was rude! Told her to make sure the chicken pakora wasn’t solid this time because my child near choked last time & she said right stop going on n on do you want anything else lucky the order was at the door or a wouldn’t have got it fix yer attitude

Best Fish & Chips in the area. Toni's has been around a long long time! When my Gran was alive, her favorite place to go.

Staff were friendly enough. Tables had food courier bags all over them limiting room for customers. Pizza was rubbish- far too doughy and ingredients seemed of poor quality. It wants to be a pizzeria, a kebab shop and a chippy. Non of wish were particularly achieved, but rather a poor version of each.

Good is amazing, go every week and the food is always warm and fresh best chippy around by far in the area

I have used Tony's since I was 5 year old and like everyone else my age new Tony the father and always had no complaints but the last couple of times I have had a special fish supper I feel as if the fish had been flattened that much that all I got was batter and a very flat fish 🐟 in fact 2 flat fish don't get me wrong I know they make the fish look bigger by putting a rolling pin over it but may be next time only give it a couple of rolls instead of rolling it flat in fact just leave it the way it was whole don't bother to flatten it our make it bigger just leave it the way it was suppose to be and another thing and it's not just Tony's that do this they all do it when you ask for a roll on butter but you don't get butter you get cheep margarine instead but you get charged for butter and I don't care what margarine it is it's all rubbish and should only be used in baking not for rolls on butter 😀 as I said they all do this not just Tony's and they have all been getting away with it for as long as I can remember it's criminal 😀 I should start a campaign for rolls on butter not margarine lol but I don't have the time to busy bringing the roads in then I need to empty the ocean 😀 have a nice day

If I could give 0 stars I would! Been here a few times and it’s always usually been decent but not anymore will not be back. Ordered two fish suppers tonight and received them and in the process of eating I saw a dark bit of batter on the fish slightly off putting but then at a second glance I saw a wing and it actually was a fly that had been embedded into the batter and cooked. They had one of their team come back out to inspect it and gave half a refund. I would expect a full refund considering we’ve lost our appetite for the other one. If you went anywhere else and this happened a full refund would be issued and sometimes along with a free meal due to the inconvenience but in this case there wasn’t it was half a refund. Called up to enquire about a full refund and explained why we believe we should and got told off the manager with an appalling manner that it’s the summer and to expect flies to be around food. Normally the case for this is a live fly that you shush away not a fly literally cooked and embedded into the fish batter. We were told there was nothing wrong with the other supper, regardless if there was nothing wrong with it I can’t believe an establishment would think we would want to continue eating from a place that has dead flies in their food. I’m sure the team there wouldn’t continue eating if it had happened to them so why do they expect their customers to? Absolutely appalling service and attitude from the member of staff that had dealt with us and they certainly won’t be getting our custom again aswell as close friends and family to boycott too. I think for future orders then a serious focus on quality check should be in place because it’s evident that it isn’t. Do not recommend. Photo attached! Terrible service. Decided to get 2 fish suppers tonight and after they arrived we noticed one of the fish had a fly embedded in the batter, after phoning up to nothing but cheek from the woman on the phone and she ended hanging up on me, somebody came out to “check if there really was a fly” and didn’t even give a full refund for our order and not even for the amount of the fish supper. We phoned up again after to say about a full refund (which is the least they could do as the fly would’ve been in cooking with all the rest off the food and any other establishment would’ve offered that straight away no questions) to be met with the same poor attitude from the person on the phone acting as if we were in the wrong and saying they aren’t doing a full refund because “there’s not a fly on the other one” absolute joke. As if were going to eat anything else from them after finding a fly in our food after all they'd have been cooked in the same fryer. Highly doubt any of the staff would’ve continued eating their food after finding a fly in it, so the other one is just going in the bin. Last time we go near this place and be making sure to tell everybody else the same. Absolute embarrassment. Attached a picture of the fly but couldn’t attach the video we took

Popped in on our lunch break and wow what a nice lunch. So much choice and it was yummy. Lovely friendly service, big portions and really good prices. Safe to say I'll definitely be back next time I'm working in the area 💯

Chips are always good, stuff is freshly cooked. Go here quite a lot and never had to complain. Keep it up, as most chips shops are terrible these days. They obviously care about the quality of the food.

Avoid at all costs this is the worse chip shop in Wishaw asked for a baked potato and it was put in a microwave too heat it up and look terrible too would give zero stars if I could

Usually a really good chippy, unfortunately not tonight. Fish supper, the batter was not crispy and the fish did not fall apart. Very disappointed Special fish, over cooked and again fish did not fall apart. Sausage greasy, floppy and the batter was soggy. Onion rings soggy and floppy. Mozzarella sticks again soggy and floppy. We had pre-ordered, DONT this had obviously been kept warm until it was time to go.

The staff aren't very sociable and have a reputation of being rude but I like that it's both open very late and delivers really late.

Toni's chip shop, been getting occasional suppers at the weekend delivered from here, very quick, food hot and no other word than delicious. Very well priced and never had a bad meal. Recommend the bacon cheese 🍔 burger with salad, coleslaw and relish. Big fan of burgers and have eaten many around the whole of Britain and abroad but Toni's is the best in my opinion. Chef by trade myself so know what talking about. Have eaten in on many occasions and staff very friendly and helpful and eating area spotless clean. Highly recommended.

Just popped in for some chips and curry sauce drove home looking forward to my food and chips not even cooked through how bad do you have to be to sell uncooked chips will avoid this place in the future 🤬

Tonis is really only chippie I go to and for takeaways too but my haggis was too peppery for me and couldn't eat it normally its not like that as I get it anytime I'm in or get a takeaway.

I came on to write a review after some shockingly poor service and wasn’t surprised to find more reviews about the same thing. I’ve ordered from here at night a few times and did so last night having forgotten how bad it had been previously. Last night though takes the biscuit! Having accepted my order at 23.50hrs, taken my money, including that cheeky service charge and overpriced delivery charge (I could get a taxi up and back for less!) 8 minutes short of an hour later, Maria & her bunch sent me the wrong meals and told me when I phoned to complain that I should be grateful of getting anything!! Steer clear of this place fellow Wishites, it’s gone right down hill in recent years and the very fact the owner doesn’t seem to have any fritters left to give just shows the quality of the food. Very disappointing.

A used to love this place been going into fae a was a kid and old toni was a gentleman and his wife , but this place has lost its family values when it comes to their loyal customers it's as seems to be all about the money now a don't know how many orders they have got wrong , and it's as if it's your fault a get that they are busy but you should always have time for your customers they are the ones paying for a service and the younger counter staff aren't very presented they should have there hair up tidy with a hair net or hat on don't know how many hairs my man got in a bag of chips well a say bag handful of chips on sat night but that will be the last time I'm going in it after 42 yrs totally went south that place , also all the extras they add on for using your card 20p service charge 50p for using the card machine then £2.50 for delivery their is no need to be that greedy haven't the ppl of Wishaw not giving yous enough you have to over charge them , also charged me £8 for 1 single special so a phoned and asked were the 2nd fish was and they said its only 1 now because the fish 🐟 is bigger lol you just couldn't write it and any chance I get ill let ppl know how much of a rip off it is

Asked for a Napkin and they handed me a Blue Cleaning cleaning paper which used to wipe worktops and the chips where hard and soggy. Not happy !!

Ordered 3 pizzas and waited an hour.I then phoned Toni's to be told it must have been sent out as she couldn't see it.Waited 20 minutes to have lukewarm pizza delivered which I refused to accept, sent them back 25 mins later a bit warmer but dry and crusty.I waited one hour and 45 mins for food that was not good.I will never use them again.So if you want to wait for an inordinate amount of time for not very nice food then I would recommend them.

Went to school with Maria...food was awesome 2night and when we have takeaway for lunch it's always fresh and tasty... only downfall was the gravy 🤷

I've just received the Special Fish Supper & a King Rib Supper & it's absolutely horrible. The chips are not fresh neither was the King Rib. My fish had a horrible taste to it,like it had been in something that was not cleaned properly. It only came here about 15 minutes ago & we just had to throw them in the bin. What a waste of money. They say 5 more orders to get 50% off.They won't be getting more orders if their grub stays like that i'd rather pay more to get a meal we can eat.

Absolute joke of an establishment! Phoned up & ordered - when i turned up to collect, they got my order mixed up with someone else's. So i returned the order & the old balding male member of staff tried to blame it on me - why? I have no idea. I can't stress enough their incompetence - how hard is it to get an order correct? How's about reading it back to me, maybe? I even told them the name I ordered under and they still got it wrong! Abysmal customer service & inability to accept when they're wrong - an apology can go a long way. I see a lot of the recent reviews here are scathing this place - I'm really not surprised and fully expect this place to keep going downhill if they have no respect for the people that keep their business operating! As for the food? Mediocre at best, fish was alright but chips were rather bland. Definitely better places to go!

The shop wasn't actually open when I went in to arrange a delivery of a fish supper but the guy opened up, took my order and a fish supper was duly delivered at exactly the time I asked for! Great Service!

Wow, I've had a lot of chips in my life. Cold chips, warm chip, chips on my shoulder... But I've NEVER had chips with bits of rat fur, coated throughout the Broon sauce.

It was busy with just eat orders & having to wait my turn. Although the chips were excellent!!

DONT! First off I've used the shop many times and always the same result. Quick service but ita just for the sale. Also using cheapest possible methods for kebab/pizza ingredients etc. Even the sizes of pizza bases aren't correct 😤. Suppers are greasy and staff are rude when they don't get an order correct.

Food was cold, and also way too greasy, also wasn't happy being charged £2 for a dry roll with only one fritter! Felt a bit sick with all the the grease on the sausage supper- not very friendly either, won't be go back

Exelent delivery quick food hot delicious girl on the phone is so helpful sina goss dont no the younger person but she has such a sweet voice drivers are great And l worked in tonys when l was 15 to 16 .long time ago now 57 years And it's a traditional family business.
