i did not receive what i ordered and the food i did get was so spicy it was uneatable and was a maroon colour from the food dye they used the only thing i liked was the salad and roti

Ridiculously slow delivery. Twice now we've waited over 2 hours for delivery and ultimately just cancelled the order. They didn't even seem to bother when the order was cancelled suggesting the order was never coming.

I'm very surprised by the situation that happened to me today, I waited 2 hours 56 minutes for a pizza, I made 2 phone calls to find out where my orders were and the lady on the phone said it wasn't her problem and hung up the phone, she was happy and I definitely won't come back😡😡😡😡😡😡

First time I've used Indian Chef - the food was excellent, well packaged and delivered on time.

Food I suspect good but cold so need to reheat. Will not be using again, food good but constantly delivered late. Always the same excuse pressed driver on way by mistake. Joke

Genuinely awful, waited almost 2 hours for the food to be terrible and ver near inedible. Absolutely disgrace and I’ll never be ordering from here again. Abysmal service.

Ordered to pick up on the way home they had already added 10 minutes on to the collection time so got there bang on time and they hadn't even started on my order, no apology just said they were busy ie forgot all about it

As been the case frequently the meal has been delivered late, the meal itself as always top notch

Good food served with friendly staff, all at affordable prices, what more can you ask for.

The menu confused a little when using the search bar so ended up with a curry that had allergens in it for me phoned and explained and was replaced with another with an extra delivery charge and very small supplement. Food when got it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely order again and again. Best bhuna In the shire

Bugs crawling all over the floor, staff touching ears nose etc then touching the food without gloves absolutely vile, burger bun absolutely solid, baked tattie was caped in coleslaw which was made with the most clattiest mayonnaise ave ever tasted in ma life, tasted like pure vinegar, baked potato wasn’t even cooked all the way through never eating from here again absolute dump

This place has a lovely aroma of all it's freshly cooked food coming out the door which is so inviting, the staff were friendly and the food was lovely I'm already looking forward to my next visit for some tasty food.

£9 for a korma and it doesn’t even come with rice? Then expect you to pay ab extra £3 for it… joke

Chips was soggy. No sauce on chips cheese and kebab meat. Kebab meat was a light brown colour and very chewy

Took over 2 hours! Had to leave my friends without getting food my daughter never had any dinner service was shocking

Horrendous service, ordered to be delivered for a certain time as I had visitors coming, it arrived an hour early, pakora and chips were like cardboard, phoned to complain, totally useless as you can't hear them talking to you, total waste of £35

2nd time now they’ve sent the wrong items. Phoned the first time & was told to leave a note on the next order as it was too busy to send the driver back, left a note & it still came wrong. Just so annoying waiting so long as both orders were late just to get the wrong stuff. Won’t use again.

Waited almost 2 hours on our order had to phone several times for an update. When it arrived the order wasn’t correct so had to phone them again. Sent the missing item however they would have been as well not bothering as the meat looked and tasted like plastic. The pizza base was that soggy it stuck to the box. We always order from here but it’s been a shambles tonight and has put me off ordering again.

Foods gone downhill 😔 pizza was burnt and took forever to arrive. Guys in the shop forgot to give the driver the drinks. The driver was amazing though 👍

Ordered food, waited just over 2 hours for it to be received. Part of the order is missing, the chicken pakora is blue inside, the onion bhajis were burnt, the burger was dry, chips and cheese was dry, all food was stone cold. Not a happy customer. Ordered the food in the hopes of getting my dinner before my nightshift. Too late for that now.

Order food at 20 past 6 arrived at 8.15 and pizza wasnt warm

Waited an hour on delivery… it was the late after that … they have refused to take responsibility for this. They have a cheek to charge £4.50 for that delivery service and then not issue a refund … not happy

Delivery said 1 hour but took 2 hours 25minutes, we called to chase it up and they had the driver on loud speaker saying he was at his home in the bathroom and wouldn’t be long, the food arrived cold and inedible, requested a refund and was denied.

Marvelous meal as usual. Indian chef is the only takeaway that I order from to be honest because their food is so lovely. I am a simple food person, nothing too spicy and I love the masala sauce you make. It is always amazing. Although delivery was late, the food was piping hot which I think is fantastic and the restaurant was available for assistance when I had queries. I still give 5 stars across the board for this restaurant. Will continue to order from you for years to come.

Awful food! Frozen veg tossed in an inedible sauce for both our madras and tarka daal. Veg paratha was the poorest we’ve ever tried and the pakoras were awful. There was no flavour in the curries, just excess spice in both of them (and one of us loves very spicy food! Hence the madras!) as well as them being swimming in oil! In the end we literally couldn’t eat them at all even after trying to “save” them by adding garlic and salt. The veg pakora was clearly a shop frozen bulk buy that had been tossed in the fryer. So disappointing!!!

Chicken tasted off returned it came collected itso want my money back

Ordered a single omelette with salad, a vindaloo and a bag of chips. The omelette came without salad and with the chips in the same tub. Because the omelette was on top of the chips they were very, very greasy and ended up in the bin. They were bought to go with the vindaloo not the omelette which is why I bought them separately. Really disappointed. Order was also delivered late.

Magnificent meal and they delivered it early as I had mentioned that I was starving in the comments box. A great family run business.

Over one hour and 40 minutes for a delivery and it was stone Cold when it arrived

Been disappointed with delivery, driver always courteous & apologetic, late due to how busy they are. Becoming a regular occurrence....was late only by 15min but online app said delivered..enjoy then 15min later text message saying driver on its way, while eating the delivery......but the meal as always...delicious and fresh.

Ordered and paid for TWO chapati: received ONE.

Phoned the shop to ask where the food was and they hung up on me

Motherwell’s best Indian takeaway. Get pizza from here every week. Hussain & Ali make great pizza’s. We usually go for a chicken tikka curry pizza or a chicken tikka, tomato’s and green chillies pizza. Neither are on the menu but they make them especially for us. From the menu, my favourite item is the chicken tikka kebab with naan bread

Waited an hour and a half for delivery.

My food was not great, the chips were rotten and my omelette was burnt. I ordered 2 omelettes one was fine so I had to share that. Disappointed.

Although late, the meal is always worth the wait. As for the order being late it is a very popular and busy shop and the delivery drivers are always courteous and sorry for the wait. The Garlic Masala and Multani rice is to die for.

Delivery over an hour late. Chips undercook and very greasy. Chicken pakora was over cooked. Salad missing from the omelette. Rice and curry was very oily. It’s good that they read the note and made the substitute, I appreciate that and usually the food is decent. But tonight it was waaaaay off and disgusting.
