First time here tonight for dinner with family...excellent allround service..quality food at a great prices..will be a weekly visit me thinks..

Late afternoon food on a busy Saturday, food was lovely, service great, quick service even though busy, halloumi sizzler was amazing , would recommend this. Really enjoyed it.

We went to the Craigmarloch Lodge this evening for dinner (me, my partner and our 1yr old son). We had a lovely meal (2 for £11.50 and a kids meal for £1). The service was great, I can’t recall the two girls names who were working on the night but both were lovely and attentive. I also spoke to the chef, Billy, who I know from previous employment. The food was impeccable, tasty and brought to us quickly. Kudos to everyone who was on shift. (Here’s a photo of us all cheers’ing!)

Great to see you are open for breakfast now so handy just on my door step could not fault anything . I was talking to the steak lady and had a really good talk about Christmas day menu. I will be booking here. Oh the food is scrummy

Awful place. They make you feel like they're doing you a favour by serving you. It's grubby too.

Had dinner here with a group of colleagues on Friday night - one particular female member of the serving staff was so rude and unpleasant and made it clear that customers were a necessary evil and when my very unsizzling chicken arrived it was raw in the middle. When I took it back I was asked what exactly is wrong with it? It was replaced but I could not eat it as it was swimming in oil and had a dish of slimy mushrooms added to the plate. My colleagues’ food wasn’t much better and I very much doubt that any of us will be back- would not recommend to anyone

New review - May 24. New management and team seem to have turned this place around. Will certainly go back for food. Long may it continue. Old review 2023 - Slow service on Saturday and food quality has dropped for 2nd visit running. Drinks were flat. Staff seemed stressed. Burgers were ok, but just ok - chips undercooked. Ordered large nachos but regular nachos arrived. Toilets are unclean, broken locks on door and toilet paper jammed in dispenser. Won't be back

The Craigmarloch is a very nice public house we usually go every Tuesday for lunch and drinks the staff are very welcoming and friendly they couldn't do enough for you I rate it 100% it's a love atmosphere public house with outdoor seating dogs are welcome a wide range of meals to choose from we will definitely be back. Drink came very quickly and food followed shortly after which was piping hot and very good for the price, will definitely be returning.

Food and service was great as always. Was sorely disappointed my favourite dessert was not available, if I had been the owner I would have asked a member of staff to walk across the road to Tesco which was 20 feet away to buy the dessert

Looks lively but, bearing in mind it's a restaurant, the food stopped at 7pm (? 🤔) Staff are in no danger of displaying too much personality

Had a lovely meal and it was a special of 2 for £9. Will be back soon. Specials are now 2 for £10.50 but still good value and Lasagna was lovely Tonight I had the lasagne now 2 for £11 but still good value for what you get

Amazing experience here with the family. Food and service was excellent. From entering Steven made sure we were all made welcome and was very friendly.

I went there on new years eve and had a wonderful time dj danny is a credit to the place whom is there every saturday and special occasions also the bar staff that was on were awesome I cannot fault it whatsoever I will most certainly be back friendly atmosphere and good times are to be had ☺

Great wee place very reasonably priced, staff friendly and have good Banter.

Christmas Dinner at £50 a head. No drinks included with meal. Meat was cooked to perfection but arrived cold. Our veg was slopped onto a side plate with no tongs for serving and was cold & hard. Complained at the time with no response from staff except to direct us to the feedback section. Dessert order was also wrong so first time there and unfortunately the last.

Booked for Christmas Dinner today. Wee bit confusion on arrival re pre ordered drinks. Quickly sorted. Food was amazing, piping hot, well cooked & huge portions. Pate was amazing ur key, turkey was great. Staff all great & worked hard to make everyone's xmas dinner special. First time out fir Xmas Dinner, but loved it. We'll done to all the staff!

Went for 2.30 for pre booked Christmas Dinner. Dinner was served, starters was fine, main course came and was totally cold. Everyone around had the same experience. Was not happy as were other guests, had paid a lot. Will not be back to this place.

Have been in a few times for lunch because we live locally. The food is quite good and value for money, although there’s sometimes a bit of a wait. What really lets this place down is the attitude of the staff. Regularly bickering and complaining behind the bar and generally dour. You feel they’re doing you a favour by serving you.

My sausages were very burnt, wrong drink delivered, staff seemed to be non existent. First time here and probably last!

Good efficient service and the meal was very good

Very nice food, hot and tasty. Fast service. Was quite noisy with the football supporters giving it large, so hard to have a conversation.

We had an hour wait for food to be served. If we had been warned when we ordered, it would have been fine because then we would have had the choice to wait or go somewhere else. The food itself was excellent quality and good value for money.

Menu has loads to choose from. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is good.

Booked a table for six for Sunday lunch. Turned up and was told they were too busy that day to check the reservations and there was no table available. No apology no attempt to find a solution. The only energy displayed by the member of staff was to tell us no children were allowed in a particular part of the pub when we attempted to see if we could find a table ourselves. Walked out and went to Wetherspoons instead.

Sometimes orders of food take too long to come, but the food is always tasty

Great birthday lunch with my family

Wow - visited as a party of eight on Saturday night. The Service was exceptional - food orders were delivered quickly in a matter of minutes and all said they enjoyed the food. There was karaoke on Saturday night. The guy running it was on the ball, kept it moving with a good selection of singers (who could sing) and he himself did a fine job belting out a couple of classics. Good mixed age group too - not too many teenagers lol. So credit to the Manager, Kitchen, Bar Staff and Karaoke Guy - you all nailed it in terms of Customer Servicer. Good luck going forward and keep up the good work. We'll be back !

Awk, you always give this place a go thinking it's going to be better than the last time...its not and you kick yourself. Don't go for food, you will not be happy

Love this place, we always feel very welcome and the staff are allways genuine and friendly.

I really like here, service is always friends and it feels nice and cosy when sitting down for food. The food nice too, good options and more importantly for me they are baby friendly. Can order at the bar or via app too. Always like having that functionality.

Been a few times. Food and staff are excellent. Would definitely recommend it. We sat outside so very relaxed.

Food was overpriced and not well prepared. Chips undercooked. Service was OK. Nice beer garden, but wouldn't eat there again.

Waited over an hour for food and this is what I was served. Literal charcoal. What member of the kitchen cremated this and not only that allowed it to be served? Staff were unhelpful and ignoring my questions of where is our food? Horrific and will not be back.

Trying to put a reasonable perspective on this. I have visited many times for drinks and the quiz. Decided to have dinner and was extremely disappointed. Order was taken down wrong and therefore wrong main served. One order was forgotten about, however the quality of the food was no better than 3/10 presentation poor and sauce served in a bowl, quality decidedly average. Another point is when you order drinks for example a Stella and it comes in a Carling glass. Ordered 4 over the night each in a different glass none of them in the Chalice!!! not great. Would I go back to the pub? Definitely. As for food I appreciate its ‘Pub Grub’ but spending over £50 on mains you expect better and will give it a miss in the future.

Absolutely horrendous. Waited an hour for a mixed grill to be served this cremated mess. Complete waste of a surry friday afternoon. First time here and I absolutely wont be back.

Was in yesterday had a lovely lunch food was amazing staff are friendly it's dog friendly too which is good if you have kids you can bring you fur baby's too 🐕🦮 good selection on the menu and there new drinks menu.

Food was good however delivery time was dreadful I waited over a HOUR for it to arrive nothing bad but the time for it to arrive to my table was bad

Good quality pub grub with a decent menu. Also has a good kids menu.

Not sure what the change has been but the food was disappointing, sign on the door saying no grilled food available, we ordered Nachos which looked like a 5 year old assembled, then 20 minutes after ordering Lasagne we were advised it was still frozen as they hadn’t defrosted it. Pretty poor all in all.

Had an nice family meal here, food was nice, had normal pub food, sausages and mash, lasagna, lots of chicken burgers ect Staff was nice, toilets was clean but tiny. There was football on so lots of men in there drinking and watching it....

Service was very slow don't have place for families. Children have to be out off the premises for eight o'clock in the evening so therefore will not be returning.

Was only there for drink but good service good beer

Food was good, although 2 of the 5 meals were served 15 mins late, and when we tried to order dessert at 8.05pm we were refused as it was after the 8pm cut off. Not good!

Was in for dinner tonight with family. Food was very good. Manager couldn’t be more helpful with dietary requirements in the group and all round excellent service, Will be back!

Food was bad. I had 2 bits of chicken that was burnt black on edges an had 2 bit of cheese on it not even melted cos it was cold. The staff were so lovely tho. I wont b back
