Ordered a Ceaser Salad. After 6 month's it still hadn't turned up. When I complained, I was told Ceaser died on the 15th March 44bc. The pub owner said I'd need to complain to the Roman Senat. Fudging ridiculous.... Fuming

Not a family pub. I was minding my own business, waiting for a pint which still hasn’t arrived in time for the 4pm game (I ordered it before the early kick off). Anyway, as I was dying of thirst a flare got chucked in through the front door…. As it rolled across the bar, distracting the bar staff 20 Hermes drivers rushed the pub, Stone Island badges pinned to their uniform. Turns out Chepstow away is a big one for Hermes due to a rivalry with the landlord! After they slapped the bar staff about a bit the Hermes Ultra’s ran off singing 🎶you’ll never get your shirts back 🎶. Bizarre. Harrowing experience. Won’t be back.

Went for a pint with my mate Barry the badger, I ordered the gout platter and Barry the linguine. I was double busy and was hoping to fly in and fly out again as you do. I witnessed a young manager accost Barry and basically Jimmy savilled him up . Barry is currently in badger counselling. I tried to stop this man reefing Barry up but was batted away as I’m only a humble wood pigeon. I did relieve myself on his head when I left though

So there I was on the 27th of December with 3 friends and a small badger. They refused to serve the Badger any food or drink so we hid the badger in the bathroom and went to the bar. Everyone in the bar was speaking French and would only serve us a royale with cheese. I ordered one for the badger and he was happy. I hope I was in the right place. That spice was lethal

Visited the Chepstow Castle last weekend with a couple of mate, not impressed with the beer selection, staff had a bit of an attitude when I asked them to top my pint up that was 1/4 head, generally didn’t enjoy my experience there, better pubs in the area. Won’t return.

Revamped inside, bar moved totally, and it's a nice improvement. Good atmosphere inside pub, good choice of beers too. Plenty of seating room, seems bigger since revamp, and lots of TV's to watch sports. Recommended, and part of my post match County Rd walkabout!

The Chepstow Castle On County Road Is A Very Local Pub With A Local Clientele That Offers A Commercial Range Of Beers That Are Well Priced.A Very Large One Roomed Pub With Traditional Pub Decor And Plenty Of Good Seating Options And A Pub That I Would Class As A Typical Local Boozer On A Main Road Leading To The City Centre.I Like Visiting Pubs Like This As They Have Stood The Test Of Time And Seem To Stay Open When Other More Illustrious Pubs In The City Have Closed. We Visited This Pub While Walking Along County Road On A Bit Of A Pub Crawl And Decided To Go In Here As We Haven't Been Here For Ages.We All Gave Our Track And Trace Details On Entry And Ordered Our Beers Which Were A Few Glasses Of Fosters Brewery Lager A Beer I Don't Normally Have As I Drink Cask Beers But It Was Refreshing. This Is A Pub That I Don't Visit That Often As They Don't Really Serve Cask Ales But I'am Glad I Visited As The Atmosphere Was Good And The Staff Were Very Pleasant. The Chepstow Castle Is Easy To Get To From Wilburn Street Bus Stop Its A Couple Of Minutes Walk.(This Is My First Review Of The Chepstow Castle). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.00-00.00. Hours Could Be Different From Above.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping down County Road and decided to drop into The Chepstow Castle Pub and I must say our visit was good. The pub itself is fine ,a big single roomed pub ,tv's to enjoy the sport, nice decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, a good old fashioned locals pub to unwind in. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Sunday afterwards, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the staff, we gave our details of name, phone number or email address to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands and ordered a beer each, we chose a Foster's lager ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in. My beer was good,Foster's lager although not my usual tipple is a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting taste and a very easy beer to drink ,on a hot day it certainly cut through the thirst. This is a popular pub ,on our visits it was busy with a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Chepstow Castle Pub is easy to locate along County Road. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till 11pm. A great pub,if your in the area most definitely well worth a visit.

Not great atmosphere. Very warm inside not much air circulating and with only a small beergarden not much of a fresh air respite. I was violently ill afterwards from drinking what thought was a branded vodka, but you cant tell as the bottle was under the bar not in an optic..Money saving my best guess. Havent visited since

I recently hosted an event in Soho. Unfortunately, only small speakers were provided, and the subwoofer was not functioning properly. The bass sound is coming on and off , which spoiled the energy .If you are a professional DJ, it is advisable not to choose the first floor as your venue..The staff members do not exhibit a high level of cooperation.. This establishment will damage your reputation as you are DJing with subpar sound quality.I reported multiple instances of sound issues with no resolution. We were required to conclude the event prior to the scheduled time.Aging DJs are advised to avoid the first floor of this venue..
