The Central Pub is a pub I always look forward to visiting on any trip to Liverpool City Centre I take. An old established Victorian era pub, interior is superb, dark wood features abound throughout this pub, great mirrored walls ,an eye catching serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and when the weather is good outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Ranelagh Street, its just a great pub to unwind in. We were here just before closing time,we luckily managed to get a pint of beer from Carling Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and went over the great day out we had just enjoyed while sipping our beers. I like this beer, its a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Central Pub we had a great time. The Central Pub is easy to locate along Ranelagh Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

I've been visiting The Central Pub for as long as I've been allowed in pubs ,it's a pub that's stood the test of time ,a proper city centre locals pub. I love the look of this pub ,it's got a great interior ,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room ,etched glass windows ,ornate mirror features ,a beautiful faux skylight, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Ranelagh Street. We were here on a freezing cold Monday night and this pub was quite busy ,we ordered and were served Fosters lager, these were served iced cold and sparkling ,we chilled out and took in the great pub we were in while sipping our lagers . Not my usual tipple, more a real ale or craft beer fan myself but I must say this lager was good ,light, hoppy and thirst quenching ,it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a really delicious lager. We really enjoyed our lagers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Central Public House is east to locate along Ranelagh Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in this area of the city near Central Railway Station.

Love visiting Ranelagh Street, so many good pubs, bars and restaurants, one of my favourites is The Central Pub , a pub that offers a warm welcome and serves great beverages. Love the look of this pub ,the interior is superb, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, one of the most distinctive features of the pub is the amazing mirrors around the pub ,its a proper pub housed in a splendid looking building dating from 1675,its just a very cool pub. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Tuesday evening, we ordered a beer each, served iced cold and sparkling, we soaked up the great vibe in here while sipping our beers. The beer served in here is excellent, a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink and on a hot evening a totally refreshing brew, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying an iced cold beer and seeing this pub bouncing again and as an added bonus it was great again to get served at the bar. We really enjoyed our beers in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Central Pub is easy to locate along Ranelagh Street, a street and area teeming with pubs ,bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 11am till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till Midnight. Sunday, 11am till 11pm. A great pub, highly recommended to visit if you're in the area.

The last 14 months or so have been trying for the hard hit hospitality sector, pubs ,bars and restaurants shut while the pandemic raged or allowed to open only under the most Draconian of restrictions but come the 17th of May pubs, bars and restaurants were allowed inside and outside service so with this in mind my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, one of the first pubs we visited was The Central Pub . This is a fantastic traditional pub ,the interior is superb, dark wood features abound throughout this pub, etched glass, mirrors, a solid wood serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Ranelagh Street. We were here on a Wednesday afternoon, greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the staff, we track and traced and we were allocated a table, we ordered a Strongbow cider each, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the laid back vibe in this busy and popular pub. My cider was really good, a crisp, effervescent cider that on a hot afternoon was very refreshing ,it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a delicious cider and to be honest socialising again albeit socially distanced. We really enjoyed our ciders in here and the great atmosphere so much so that we ended up staying for another cider before we moved on and as on every other visit to The Central Pub we had a wonderful time. The Central Pub is easy to locate along Ranelagh Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 11am till 11pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till Midnight. Sunday, 11am till 11pm. A wonderful pub,one I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area.

The service at this event was par excellence. The room was spacious and yet the people did not feel isolated. The colour scheme of the furnishings was conducive to a relaxed atmosphere and the room was light, airy and fresh. There was a wide variety of hot and cold food, professionally presented and enjoyed enormously by all the guests, so much so that at the end of the afternoon no food remained!!! All the staff on duty were most helpful, approachable and accommodating, and many thanks to John for displaying the banner of photographs in a prime position, out of harm's way!!! I was very happy with the overall cost of the event, which was most reasonable. In conclusion, this was a very enjoyable occasion and I would not hesitate to recommend the RAFA Club in Kirkby most highly.

A superb veggie breakfast avocado; halloumi; spinach in a Hollandaise sauce; beans; gorgeous toast. Good portion size - 5 stars. Lovely deli. Everything freshly prepared. Homemade bakery. I also, on recommendation used them for an event for cakes - so delicious. Well Done. Great to have a high quality local place to go for good food.
