The Cavern Club Restaurant in Liverpool

I visited on a solo trip in October 2024. The entrance fee is 5 pounds, and you order your favorite drink at the counter inside the store (underground). I think beer prices were normal. There was no dangerous atmosphere and it was crowded with many tourists. Everyone was having fun dancing and clapping. There seemed to be no food.

We had an excellent evening in this legendary club. There are few places but the atmosphere was incredible.

You have to go here! This was awesome! Living history on every brick ! Magnetic life music and good beer! Will definitely go back there!

By far my favorite pub in Liverpool. I went on several occasions, including Beatles week where I was able to see artists from different countries. Very good experience.

Wow, mate! You won't believe how I spent my day! I was listening to live music all day long! Can you imagine that? And guess what? I got to see memorabilia from legendary bands like the Beatles, the Who, Coldplay, Oasis, and many more. It was like a dream come true! And the best part? The price was an absolute steal! I only had to pay £5 or £7.50 to get in and out. Unbelievable, right? They had everything you could ever want to drink. It was like a drinker's paradise! The only downside was that they didn't serve food, but hey, who cares? There were plenty of bars just down the street. And let me tell you about the staff. They were absolutely fantastic! They were so friendly and funny, it made the whole experience even better. I felt so welcome and at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves live music. It's an experience you won't forget!

We went for the Beatles and it is an excellent experience, to enter the cover is 5 pounds and the atmosphere is quite good, we went around 3pm and there was live music, affordable prices and all the history that its walls have 10/10

What a great experience. The atmosphere was amazing and the group and musicians were amazing. It does get very busy but everyone was patient and polite. Well worth a visit even if only for the experience.

This place is a gem. Food was great.. staff were very friendly. It had a very old time British pub feel which was so comforting.. highly recommended.

A real joy to visit this place with all the Beatles history. Not expensive to get in and the drinks weren't too pricey considering. We saw a guy singing Beatles and other well known songs from that era. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Surprised you have to pay a fiver to get in and then beer is in a plastic glass. Came on a Monday, not very busy. The music, was good nice that it wasn't just the beetles music

Easy to find on Matthew St, from the train. Had a fabulous time - super atmosphere, loved seeing the memorabilia on the walls. The drinks were great, the band 'The Shakers' were excellent.

We visited yesterday paid 5.00 but we was disappointed as some of it wasn't open do it wasn't goid for us as we travelled from grimsby to see it all

Maybe my 12th visit in 3 years. Spent lots of pennies and been there many hours Yet to see anyone on stage not brilliant and anyone in audience not loving it. I must apologise to both for however I can't HELP! myself singing along to just about every song.

Beer has a fair price for a historical place. Staff is friendly. Amazing merchandising with a good price. Loads of memorabilia. Definitely will come back.

It's a place you must visit in Liverpool!

Lost all the charm became just like another pub.

Visited the Cavern Club 2 nights in a row. The singers were all fantastic, there is a brilliant atmosphere with visitors from all over the world. Bar staff friendly and quick to serve. The memorabilia all over the walls takes a good while to look at so give yourself plenty of time.

Live bands always! Imitating The Beatles

walked in and got the tickets for £5/pax. we liked the live music and vibes. however the drinks were pretty diluted when we bought rum and coke + g&t, otherwise it would be a 5 star review i guess

Visited on a Friday night had tickets for the cavern bettles. Wife has a mobility scooter are the staff made the visit enjoyable.

It ain't the real one so what's the point

Went to a "Paul Weller Day" which was absolutely fantastic. Also good selection of eers too. We had paid for tickets for the event but there is a standard charge of £5 for other visitors which is a bit disappointing for some people as it wasn't advertised anywhere and they felt they were obliged to pay and go in as had travelled to the area for general sightseeing. Other than that great to see the memorabilia

Went to see Mary Spender in concert. It seems a well run and maintained venue. Still has all the stairs to descend. Things have certainly changed since I was here in the 70s.

Best place to be on what atmosphere

Everything is fine, but the musician in the first room plays and sings a bit too loudly and it was impossible to talk to a friend, and I like louder music.

Amazing experience and a must do for any Beatles fan. The live music was absolutely fantastic aswell.

As I grew up at the time The Beatles were ruling the world, I have always wanted to visit The Cavern. So my wife and I went up to Liverpool to celebrate my birthday and to pay a long awaited visit to this famous place. We spent the best part of four hours, enjoying two different guitarists who both sang plenty of Beatles songs. The place was full and had a wonderful vibrant atmosphere. It was everything I had hoped it would be and more. Just to be where it all started was fantastic and I will never forget our visit and I will cherish the moment forever. If you, like me,grew up with The Beatles then pay a visit, and you will undoubtedly enjoy the experience as much as I did.

If you are a Beatlemaniac, don't miss it. Essential, impressive and with an incomparable atmosphere.

I finally got here!! It was everything and more! Lovely friendly vibe and great to see us old rockers enjoying the Beatles gig amongst younger generations. My son and his girlfriend loved it...we will be back

Best club to lisent the best music. Whit a lot of history fully recomendable, prices are realistic, very good ambience, definitely if you are on the area you need to pass around.

Very beautiful iconic place. We eat really well. The area is worth a visit at any time.

Ideal place to end the Magical Mystery tour the food was excellent as were the staff, Mat looked after us and his service was exceptional even to the point of charging my wife’s phone while we ate lovely experience overall 👍

The young singer in there is a brilliant tribute to the Beatles,charging £5 on a weekday when half of the Cavern is shut was a bit annoying.

It's The Cavern. No need to say any more. A must visit venue.

If your in anyway interested in music this is the place to be!. Visited in the daytime after a tour, live music being played with lots of memorabilia everywhere and reasonably priced drinks too. Returned in the evening to watch The Beatles Complete (if you haven't seen them make sure you do) - was an absolutely amazing evening and all the locals were so friendly. Very rare to go out these days and see everyone enjoying themselves so much! Absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back.

For being the most famous club in the world, prices are quite decent and service is not bad. But as a Beatles fan, you don't care about any of that, so take it as the cherry on top of one of the most memorable visits you will do in your life.

A museum! It's worth the trip. Find out where the most famous band in the world started. Just one detail, Chopp’s are served in plastic cups lol.

Great to finally see the place that launched the Beatles! The house band was top notch playing favorites from the Beatles and other 60’s acts.

There weren't enough people inside, but the surroundings were very nice.

Great from the outside. I didn't feel the need to go in. It would have cost £5 and there was no indication of what was inside. Why would I want to pay to walk into a music venue and walk out again? Matthew Street itself is worth the visit for the music memorabilia and statues.

Our first visit to Liverpool for 2 days and we loved exploring everything.

Lovely restaurant, great service, good choice of food. Jamie was just lovely. She was really busy as there was a large and difficult tour group in who kept changing tables! She remained calm and professional and was just a pleasure to meet.

Rock and pop were born here. The Beatles were born here. Lots of history. It's a popular spot with tourists, and the drinks can be a bit pricey.

It might not be the original place, but you can imagine what it was like in the '60s.

This is a must visit place for all the fans of music, and even more so, if you are a Beatles fan. The Beatles frequented this place in their early days and even later when they weren't on gigs. That said, this is not just limited to Beatles, but the who's who of Rock and Roll, have all played in this iconic club. If you are here, have dinner early, find a table and grab a drink, cause there are no options for food. Although you will love the ambience here with locals and globe trotters, singing and dancing together, paying homage to the Beatles and their favorite bands. My experience was amazing. It's a must experience.

Fantastic place with the spirit of the Beatles

One of the best bars around... If not *THE* best bar. Packed with history and an amazing vibe, this place will sure get you up dancing. The Beatles acts are fantastic, with live music all day... And throughout the night. Prices are typical city prices, so around £6 a pint; not bad as you can be paying similar prices for a pint in pubs that aren't half as good. I would recommend getting in early to get a table as this place gets absolutely rammed. Highly recommend if you're in the area visiting.

It's exciting to enter this historic place but honestly when I think about the golden times and how it is now... too touristy

Nice atmosphere even though it is really overcrowded and too noisy. There ia not enough space even to have a sit if there are nore than 10 people. Not worthy 5£ just for entry.
