The Cavern Club Restaurant in Liverpool

Well it's a great bar while full of people, but quite lonely on a sunday night. Beer selection could be better. Live music is great and engaging other people. An iconic bar nevertheless, but better be here at a Friday or sat. night, so you can feel the atmosphere better.

Historic. You can't help but be enthralled by the history and stories that this place holds. If you can get in when there is live music it's just special whoever is playing.

For all the history on Liverpools music scene, this is a must visit.

Great music and venue , definitely a must even without the Beatles link.

Overall experience was very good and atmosphere in the place made you feel like you were in a special place. However the Beatles house band for evening event were in our view a little lack lustre and there was way too much gap between the sets overall. For a 4hr event, we were waiting for the band for a good 1hr 45 mins in total. There was a good 30 min wait between sets which spoilt it. Especially as there were no comfy chairs, only square boxes to sit on. Overall however worth going to if you don't mind the waiting and you are a beatles fan.

Great experience. We visited around 18.45. No ques, bar service was good evan when busy. We saw two bands ... first was a male solo artist, and he was excellent, played a mixture of songs, Beatles to Tina Turner ! Then we had a tribute Beatles band, and they were great. Excellent night , well worth £5.

Brilliant place 2 live stages with constant live acts and plenty of Bars. Expect to pay higher prices for drinks but well worth it!

This was a superb venue for entertainment, with an underground cave setting! This creates such a good vibe with the music played and historic decorations throughout, counter is well-presented too. I had a pint of Cruzcampo, seating was good and cleanliness had been maintained!

Real shame the original Cavern was demolished. This gives the feeling of the place though.

You can not come to Liverpool and not visit this iconic club. So pleased we went in. Not only is it a fab music venue, the artist playing when we were there was fab, but has so much memorabilia from staues, to guitars signed and donated by different bands, photographs. It even has a big selection of souvenirs that you can buy. It was well worth the £5 entry fee and we ended up staying for the evening listening to the music.

We didn’t go in there but it looked really good.

When in Liverpool one has to visit the tavern. Great music fabulous place. Abit expensive but you expect that

There was a wide choice of food and the grilled chicken Caesar salad was fresh & delicious. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful & the atmosphere was great. Surpassed our expectations.

Four of us visited the vibrant Matthew Street and as it was Valentine’s Day, restaurants were pretty busy. I made a reservation for four here and it was a very pleasant surprise. Toe of the party had Scouse for the first time, and loved it.

Surprised it was so far down! Thought it was just a basement but is actually 2 flights of stairs underground. Excellent vibe and atmosphere, great musicians and the obligatory Beatles tribute band were also good

A must for anybody visiting Liverpool as a tourist. You'll be transported back to the 60's to watch the Beatles live. You won't see any scousers in the audience but you'll have a great time. Huge recommendation.

The history of music, lots of beer and lots of education

There is a sign that says it all started here. And it is true, the Beatles revolutionized music and it is evident to see the mark they left. The original joint was demolished but hey, I don't know how it can lose its romanticism. All the greats of the 60s and 70s have played here. It is a small museum, the entrance fee is 5 pounds and the drink is separate.

Very cool and beautiful to see once

Came to see The Cavern Club Beatles on a Friday night. They are excellent musicians and put on a hell of a show which was great value for money at £20 per ticket. Tried the club lager which was decent but nothing to write home about. One thing we were not prepared for with this show was the length and frequency of the intervals. If you enter just after doors as we did and don’t manage to bag a seat, you’ll be on your feet for 4 ish hours which by the end proved quite the endurance test. I understand why the club has the breaks - they need to make their money at the bar, but they are much too long. More seating or shorter breaks would do a lot to improve the show.

Great fun night. Even tho I find myself feeling claustrophobic going deep deep down the steps. I'mThe sort who looks for fire exits. However the music eased my troubles and my partner and I had a fab night. It was my birthday too.

I didn’t have very high expectations this being in the centre of a very popular tourist area, I was soon wrong. The food was amazing , the service excellent, friendly staff and the decor very interesting . Great place, strongly recommend.

We visited The Cavern club while on a birthday weekend. There was a small entrance fee (£5) which was well worth it. The live music was brilliant so we were there most of the afternoon. We had drinks from the bar (great choice of beers) and would go again when next in Liverpool.

I think single entry is 5 pounds and an all-day ticket is 7.5 pounds. A great place to go if you like the Beatles and live music or performances! You can find it by going down about 2 or 3 floors, and it was wider than I expected. However, there were so many people that the area around the stage was crowded. On the side, there was a space selling souvenirs and drinks.

Wow. We paid £5 entrance fee and thought that was expensive to be able to have a drink in the cavern. But we were unaware there would be performers singing songs from acts who had performed there in the 60s . And to top it off 2 of the cast from Bat out of hell sang 2 songs from their show. That we were going to see later in the day. What an amazing experience the cavern is. We will definitely be back next time we are in liverpool. Tge best £5 we ever spent.

Food and service is of a very high standard. Definitely recommend pre booking your table before attending. Highly recommend just to add to the whole electric Beatles experience.

As brilliant as before, me and my partner revisited here as it is where we first began our relationship as a couple and not just friends. As there was before, there was live entertainment whilst you're surrounded by music history and memories - absolutely fantastic ❤️

This is a must for any Beatles fans or really any Rock n Roll fans in general. The live music and atmosphere is great and if you're there on a Friday or Saturday you can buy tickets to the back lounge where the house Beatles group plays a 4 hour show for you in full get up with costume changes for each period of the Beatles. Very enjoyable, highly recommendable.

Absolutely incredible!!!!!!!!! The best bar I’ve been to. Incredible atmosphere, live music and all the story behind it. I recommend staying at least two hours and absolutely trying the Guiness beer (it really feels different drinking it there)!

The highlight of the weekend. Brilliant entertainment and such an unusual venue. Stayed for 4 hours. Lots of music memorabilia to view. The inside caverns were covered with writing of previous visitors added some charm. For £5 entry it's well worth it and will go again if I ever come back. A must do!!!
