The Cavern Club Restaurant in Liverpool

We literally had a view watching all the people come up and down the street going to Sergeant Pepper’s and the cavern club across the street. The food was amazing. Grace gave us fabulous service and great advice on the menu items and drink items. I would highly recommend.

We had a discount using our Magical Mystery Tour boarding pass. Although we had not made a reservation, waiting staff were very friendly and accommodating to get us a table. We ordered fish and chips with curry sauce. Really good portion and quality of food. It was prompt and the waiting staff were efficient. Great tunes and decor in here. It could have been really naff, but it isn't. They have got it spot on all round. Highly recommend.

We were lucky enough to go to the Pub and see the Beatles tribute. The atmosphere and the people, the place and its music make everything become an experience, without looking for it. As Paul McCartney would say, “I don't know anyone who doesn't go to The Cavern and come away with an anecdote.” More than a pub, a story for your life. 🥹🥹🥹

MUST see if you're a Beatles fan. i absolutely loved the environment and there was love music doing Beatles covers the entire time i was in the club. despite being in my early 20s, i think i was the youngest person there, so it's definitely much more of a bar atmosphere than "club" like the name presents. it costs 5£ to enter & that doesn't cover any drinks. there's merchandise available (shirts, signs, magnets, keychains, etc.) for those truly interested, but id recommend getting a magnet at one of the many souvenir shops if you're that interested.

If your visiting it's worth going in to watch up and coming acts atmosphere is fab, gets busy throughout the day lots of seating and two stages to watch the acts. You have to pay going in £5 but it's worth it.

Amazing!!. Visited for a friend's 60th birthday. The atmosphere and music was great, got totally into the experience. We will be back soon

First visit here since 2018, still top class, from the bar staff to the various singers who took to the stage, well worth the admission fee. Whether your a Beatles fan or not, it's a great venue for live music. Hopefully won't be another 7 years before I return.

What an amazing place! The atmosphere is electric even now, so I can only imagine what the energy must’ve been like in the 60s. The live music was fantastic, and it’s easy to see why this venue has such legendary status. A must-visit for any music lover or Beatles fan!

A must visit if you are in Liverpool. Bottom line is, I'm not a big Beatles fan, and I had an amazing time. The atmosphere, the live music and the place itself make it an experience that must be done while in Liverpool. There is a £5 entry fee.

UPDATE - went to see the Cavern Club Beatles on Friday night in the live lounge this is a fantastic night great atmosphere great music and a must for both Beatles fans and music fans. Love this place. Great music and atmosphere. Can get very packed and hot on some nights. The bands are always good and it a must visit when in Liverpool

This hidden gem was where the Beatles first played. It is an unmissable place that welcomes you with music and the atmosphere in its decoration. Everywhere you find history of what has happened over time, the bands and artists that have played there.

I love this place. Whenever possible, I go to Liverpool to go to the Cavern, especially on Thursdays! But on my last visit, some of the staff were very rude and stupid, especially the security guards! One of them was even drinking alcohol while working, and hid it behind the curtain so that no one would see! Not everyone needs to be treated rudely as if they were doing something wrong. Of course, if someone is abusing a situation, they should command respect in the place, but not with all visitors. By the way, I always buy VIP tickets for the whole day!

Excellent source of income for the owners. GBP5.00 cover charge could be seen as excess however if you grew up in era of the Beatles, Gerry and the pacemakers e tc great displays and photos. Drinks perhaps 20% more expensive that other local establishments. Did not see a Happy hour unlike most other bars.

Simply unmissable. There is always music, there are many objects and photographs displayed on the walls and in the niches of the place, which has an atmosphere all its own. Truly special! We ate and drank sooooo well.

The most exciting thing about the Beatle world

🤯🤯🤯🤯 The history of rock and rock bands, celebrities and so much great memories on the walls of this place. If you like music, even if you don't want to get a drink in here, just to walk the walls, read the pages, see the photos, it is mesmerizing!!!!

Great venue with the best music.

Was there last night with a friend on a mobility scooter, the staff could not have been more helpful, getting her in and making sure she could see and showing her where the toilets were and coming back a few times during the night too check up on us .then when the band finished they were there to see us to the lift and took us up and outside, all done with a smile on the their faces...thank you all for a brilliant night. We had a lot of fun with a great lot of people. Would highly recommend this place ,and will be back

Don't mistake this place with the cavern PUB. The pub is on the OTHER side of the street. The marker was put wrongly, I've sent a request to be moved just now, but in the end, being in a hurry, I visited the PUB thinking I visited this place - the CLUB. They're different. I liked the pub as well, but... keep in mind. This location is for the CLUB, not the PUB

Entry included as part of the Magical Mystery Tour. Great atmosphere with live music. Jonny the musician was great! Loss of a star because the lager was pretty uninspiring for £6.50 a pint.

My first visit but certainly not my last. This place is so infectious and I didn’t want to leave.

Unforgettable experience full of stories. My father, a big Beatles fan, dreamed of going there and it happened, he introduced me to so many things. Entry is £5 per person except children (free). The small downside is that the seats are very limited, around 20 places only.

You have to go down several sets of stairs and when you get to the bottom it's like being in a sardine tin no room £5 each to get in 3 minutes and 4 of us back out never again

Historic. You can't help but be enthralled by the history and stories that this place holds. If you can get in when there is live music it's just special whoever is playing.

For all the history on Liverpools music scene, this is a must visit.

Great atmosphere, very friendly people. A must if you visit Liverpool.

Overall experience was very good and atmosphere in the place made you feel like you were in a special place. However the Beatles house band for evening event were in our view a little lack lustre and there was way too much gap between the sets overall. For a 4hr event, we were waiting for the band for a good 1hr 45 mins in total. There was a good 30 min wait between sets which spoilt it. Especially as there were no comfy chairs, only square boxes to sit on. Overall however worth going to if you don't mind the waiting and you are a beatles fan.

Great experience. We visited around 18.45. No ques, bar service was good evan when busy. We saw two bands ... first was a male solo artist, and he was excellent, played a mixture of songs, Beatles to Tina Turner ! Then we had a tribute Beatles band, and they were great. Excellent night , well worth £5.

Brilliant place 2 live stages with constant live acts and plenty of Bars. Expect to pay higher prices for drinks but well worth it!

This was a superb venue for entertainment, with an underground cave setting! This creates such a good vibe with the music played and historic decorations throughout, counter is well-presented too. I had a pint of Cruzcampo, seating was good and cleanliness had been maintained!

Real shame the original Cavern was demolished. This gives the feeling of the place though.

You can not come to Liverpool and not visit this iconic club. So pleased we went in. Not only is it a fab music venue, the artist playing when we were there was fab, but has so much memorabilia from staues, to guitars signed and donated by different bands, photographs. It even has a big selection of souvenirs that you can buy. It was well worth the £5 entry fee and we ended up staying for the evening listening to the music.

We didn’t go in there but it looked really good.

There was a wide choice of food and the grilled chicken Caesar salad was fresh & delicious. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful & the atmosphere was great. Surpassed our expectations.

Four of us visited the vibrant Matthew Street and as it was Valentine’s Day, restaurants were pretty busy. I made a reservation for four here and it was a very pleasant surprise. Toe of the party had Scouse for the first time, and loved it.

Surprised it was so far down! Thought it was just a basement but is actually 2 flights of stairs underground. Excellent vibe and atmosphere, great musicians and the obligatory Beatles tribute band were also good
