Very disappointed with our breakfast. Me and family had sausage baguettes and the baguettes were burnt to a crisp and there was only 1 sausage in the whole of the baguette which didnt even taste like sausage! It tasted horrible and poor quality. Was awful and was soon binned. Such a shame. Wouldnt recommend.

Me, my wife and two children went for lunch and yet again another fantastic experience on a warm day the cafe was air-conditioned. The food was amazing and the Cafe was very clean as usual. The staff were very welcoming and very friendly.. if you’ve not been to this café, please go because I promise you you won’t be disappointed.

Below average ingredients and as such a poor breakfast experience, I would not go back here. Many better local options on quality and price.

I lived in the area for almost six years now and have seen this café change management a few times, but the food quality and atmosphere have remained consistently good! Been here multiple times, mostly with my younger brother and/or the rest of my family. Amazing breakfast an lunch. only problem is that sometimes the food takes a while to arrive, but that's to be expected with food that is cooked from scratch

We love the new menu. I and my wife and two children aged 8 months and 4 years were greeted with a warm welcome. Now to the new menu I had faggots mash and mushy peas and wow the meal was amazing my wife had the fish finger club sandwich which she loved. We love the new menu that much we came back again two days later. The ladies at the cafe are lovely and go out of there way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. I would recommend people to come to the cafe the menu is amazing and the cafe is family friendly and very clean.

After hearing that the Café had a new menu, we decided to go give it a try. We definitely wasn't disappointed! Great new choices including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free! Sitting pretty on the counter was generous slices of Carrot cake....so we had no choice but to sample them too! Absolutely beautiful! Lovely friendly service as always and nothing is ever too much trouble.

This cafe has been taken over by the lovely new owner Clare and is now "Cafe Stoney Stanton". The atmosphere in the cafe is so nice and welcoming. Staff are all really friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. It's actually nice to see smiley staff who actually speak! Waiting times for food wasn't bad either considering the cafe was packed and they were doing take aways too. Breakfast was of good standard and locally sourced. The toast was actually the best toast I've had in a long time and my cuppa was fab! I took a cheeky cake home too. I'm not a big fan of blondies but....the Bakewell Blondie was amazing! The selection of cakes is fantastic and children are well catered for there too. Definitely my go to place now. Lovely to have a chilled seat in the village to sit and watch the world go by.... with a little company and a chat if you need it.

This little cafe is under new management prior to 2nd lockdown but has remained open for takeout! And WOW what a lot they offer - breakfasts, rolls, salads, home made cakes and pastries. Can't wait until I can sit in and enjoy the homely ambiance! Also an amazing takeout afternoon tea!

The most welcoming village pub you could ever come across. A fantastic place to socialise. Warm, atmospheric and just delightful. The landlords Shaun & Nigel are so sociable and make everyone feel so welcome. A great range of beers, wines, spirits. There is a selection of gins available from a local supplier called Driftwood which are superb. The pub also has regular entertainment and social events including weekly coffee mornings with a good selection of cakes on offer. If you haven't visited yet, get yourselves along, you won't be disappointed

We booked a table for 6 on the basis of a friends visit. Food was tasty. Service was reasonable. Our bill was unbelievable …check yours before you pay. Our bill added both a cover charge £ 11.90 and a gratuity £7.69 We queried them both and asked if they were discretionary. We were told that the cover charge is for cutlery and sitting at a table !! They removed the gratuity but not the cover charge. We will not be returning.

Ordered Alloo Chana Chaat as part of order…no chickpeas in dish, it was just a slight curried dish of potatoes. Also, received one less lamb chop compared to previous order which was our first. We were really impressed with our first order, but tonight seemed like “we will give you what we’ve got and not even communicating it to us.” Wont be ordering from here again…Very disappointing
