Amazing, absolutely loved it and will definitely return.

Simple place, not especially characterful but not trying to offer too much yet does what it does very well, with an interesting variety of craft lagers and ales, and small menu of nonetheless delicious wood-fired pizzas. Limited space inside, but a decent outside area.

This place is a little gem . The decor is not what you expect when you walk in . It's opulent and exquisite. The food was exceptionally prepared , piping hot and utterly delicious. Staff were friendly and polite Definitely give it a visit if you're in the area Parking limited

Came here last weekend for 'one pint'... stayed for at least 6 and had a burger plus chips with gravy and chicken!? It was phenomenal. All the beers on tap looked amazing (I only had the summer ale) great back seating area and chill front area, everything was 10/10, can't recommend enough. Great vibes all around

Popped in for a drink, friendly and good atmosphere. Nice paved beer terrace at the back. Very broad selection of beers to try. Dogs welcome. Will go again

Out of all the places in the small 100m area that it Parr Street in Ashley Cross this is one of the best. Massive range of beers and ciders, and a wood fired pizza oven out the back for food. Priced as expected for a place like it is, apart from the pizzas which were 2 for £16 when we visited. Would recommend!

Went on a night there was a band, so no food, service wasnt great, should of had more staff on for a Friday night with live music. Everyone was squashed in !

Love it here but don't go in. It's too popular now. I want the place to myself a bit more. Fyi, have one of their pizzas. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Went here with friends. We didn't have food, so I can't comment on that. There's a Butcher's Dog bar in Wimborne, but it's about 1/4 of the size. The Ashley Cross bar is a great place. If only Wimborne had larger premises. I love the Butcher's Dog. Shame about the woman who threw up on the night we were in there!

Pizza here is incredible. Selection of awesome beers to suit literally every taste.

Unfortunately there were no cask ales available on my visit, just a couple of IPAs (along with a stout, porter and lagers). A small, friendly establishment, but a little basic.

Busy. Good atmosphere. Great beers. Short measures on wine (twice!) That's breaking the law. Barmaid told - defended by another barman. Try Camden Bar or Knightlife - they manage to serve it properly!

Why oh why have I not been here before?? 🤦‍♂️ Absolutely brilliant range of beer, cider and gluten free beer. For those with a rumble in their tumtum....Topped off (tonight) with a freshly made pizza outside. What more can you possibly need??!! BRILLIANT (+some other shizzle going on in Oct23)

Vault City Strawberry Sour fixed my marriage it was so good.

Had a ber and pizza with friends. The barman was helpful in choosing a beer, and the pizza was very tasty. Will be back!

Fresh beer, and FLAMIN GRATE pizza is incredible. Make sure you have the loaded fries with Chicken strips on top!! Love this place.

Excellent! We visited during an Oktoberfest styled weekend; Excellent range of appropriate beers & food. V pleased to see so.e of the locals had joined in with spirit of the the thing & dressed appropriately too Well done.......

Great selection of beers good vibe however the guy selling pizza was extremely rude. Gave my cousin the f word when she asked if he was still serving as it was 5 minutes after his finish time. A simple Ive stopped cooking now would have been sufficient. All the bar staff were lovely n helpful. Shame about the pizza guy he's not doing their business a favour

Great pub, friendly staff and loads of outdoor space considering the small area. Selection of beers is crazy, and are apparently very good. As a cider drinker, their draught cider goes down a treat too though as well

A range of local beers that you can sample before you buy. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food is also available. Modern design and plenty of room in the beer garden. I got drunk here, so it must be good.

Nice little place, friendly staff. Nice drinks. The drinks board is a little hard to read and the music is a bit too loud, but otherwise really recommend

Great socialising venue with good beer and fantastic pizzas Garlic bread Chicken and Chips. Another three or four pubs at the same location all looked busy but comfortable. And all close to Ashley Cross a really nice place to spend the evening.

Sometimes price dosnt matter not cheap here but class ales and loved the pizza bonus

Love this place… Fantastic craft beer venue. The staff are super friendly, very knowledgeable and always happy to talk you through the extensive number of beers on offer. Beer is great, food (normally pizza, sometimes hot dogs) is fantastic and all home made (literally even their sausages), and it’s dog friendly. What more could anyone want!!

One of the greatest places on earth. Unrivaled beer selection, the staff are sound as and the food goes IN HARD. Love this place.

Had the Wednesday night Hot Dog and a Pint for £10. Not only excellent value, but also ruddy delicious. Try the superchips as well!

It was a lovely place to drink. Really friendly people and staff. The pizzas are absolutely amazing. We were on holiday and I would definitely recommend and go back there. We spent every evening here so that says heaps. And it's dog friendly too.

Love this place!! It’s the first pub since moving to Dorset (10yrs ago) that I’d call my local. They love my dog and I love their beer choice. Staff, Beer and food are all great. Dog drags me in there most days… 🤣 Can’t fault any element of it…!!

This is an amazing craft beer bar (and pizza restaurant), hidden in Ashley cross. Great outside space and pizza to die for!

Perfect cozy pub. Welcoming to everyone including people with dogs and push bikes. They have a wide range of locally sourced drinks. There wood fire pizzas are amazing and I'd highly recommend.

Food was fantastic and service really good! The pepperoni pizza with honey was the winner for me! But all was really good. We sat in the garden at the back and it was lovely.

Great space, good choice of beers. Pizza are fine but nothing to write home about. The garlic butter one lacks of garlic, and the pepperoni and garlic one is probably not a great combo to come up with, would order something else.

Not impressed on the assumptions that were made about my guest and I on spend per head, when we were moving on to a restaurant with clear intention. Was expecting better.
