Friday night at the Bugle is the place to be , fun , friendly and fantastic Karaoke with Jake , Izzy fantastic barmaid very welcoming ,highly recommended for all ages !!

Lovely pub, friendly staff, manager Barry very welcoming, great function room highly recommend a visit.

Good variety lemonade is good and nice atmosphere pool table is good Good choice of music and the staff are really cool to chat to

*Brilliant local pub in Charlton Village* Have been to the pub many times, mostly before a football match (Charlton Athletic is 15 minute walk away). Long "L" - shaped bar. Friendly staff. Decent real ale, often including Landlord (obvs!). Have never seen any trouble here. Lots of TVs around for watching sport, and tables and chairs. No food at though. Not even pies and pasties, which would be popular with the sometimes starving football crowd looking at standing in a stadium from 3-5pm straight afterwards **hint to manager!** Large outside area with loads of seating, great in summer. And a car park. 422 bus stops two minutes walk away. Note pub is at the top of a big hill and Charlton rail station and station bus stop are at the bottom - as is Charlton Athletic ground. So a brisk and sweaty walk either way. There is a £1-a-go pool table (£1 coin or QR payment via smartphone) in elevated area to left as you enter from street. If you want to play, place your £1 (wing it paying by phone) on the table edge and wait - there is no winner-stays-on locals-only nonsense "rule". NB. Table has a low beam across the ceiling at one end of the table - if you're over 6' 1" / 185cm (like me) you may want to wear a crash hat! But I like the potato-head look🤪 Table is well maintained but not the cues, most are bent and last time I was there only one had a usable tip **another hint**

Popped into the Bugle for a lunchtime pint and the Guinness was top draw poured to perfection by the manager Barry. Nice pub with a friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Went here before football at Charlton, they welcomed us in although there were home fans in as well. Staff were very friendly polite and helpful,we were allowed to park our minibus in the car park and leave it there during game,10 minutes walk to ground, had a quick pint afterwards as well thank you,even better we got 3points in our pockets for journey home. Happy days 🏴‍☠️ UTG.

Been in twice, proper old school regulars pub ! Dog running around and open fire not many places like this left ! Good service to boot

Only pub I've been in for a while that has a pool table! Reasonable sized pub, bit of a tight squeeze for accessibility. Small range of ales, football plays on the TV, but usually with music in the background.

This should be my local as I live less than 1 mile away but having been in here once I doubt that I will ever return. I got followed home by some weirdo customer who then tried to force his way into my home, only stopping once the police had arrived. DANGEROUS!!!!!

I just wanted to say thank you to all of the staff at the Bugle Horn for making our party! The team couldn’t do enough to help - the room was beautifully decorated, music equipment provided, catering provided and very generous and the team were great with entertaining children at the party. The function room is a nice size holding up to about 100 people with a private bar and garden to the rear. I’d highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful village pub to host their next party! We all had a great time.

Had a great night with a couple of friends. It was good so see people in there from over 15 years ago. No Fosters on tap and needs a lock in the mens cubicle for privacy. With the drug situation in pubs and bars I understand why however others still want to poop in private. All in all a good night.

As only there for a short time was I feel unable to make a proper review, but from what I saw it is a good local pub.

I visited this pub at lunchtime on a Saturday when Wimbledon were playing Charlton at the Valley. I spoke to some Charlton fans and found it a friendly pub. It gets busy as kick off time approaches. Football is shown on the many TVs and I watched an FA cup match.

Full of elderly people from the local council estate.

Very slow service. Ended up giving up waiting and left

We cannot even express on here how pleased we were, when we hired the function room for after our mums funeral. Ashley went above & beyond. She dressed the room for us, in mums favourite colours, and put up all the photos we wanted around the room. She ran the bar for us the entire afternoon. We had never ending tea and coffee and the food was plentiful and amazing! The function room even opens up onto its own garden! Ashley was our angel that day. A lovely clean pub with friendly staff and great food! We will be back soon, thank you all.

I like it, but the vibe is a bit odd. I went with a friend who is South Asian and some of the other customers quite aggressively asked questions to him. That is very much the vibe of the place but the staff who work here are lovely.

Big outdoor space, great for lock down (and summer).

Got kicked out just because I have Chinese looking although I am not even Chinese. I was SO excited to try out their super-tasty-looking toasties for lunch, but instead they showed me a poster written in Chinese, which I didn't even understand, and refused to serve me. The worst memory living in London, but hope the owner is different now.

I have only ever come on Charlton game day, so the atmosphere is amazing and the drinks are well priced, definitely my pub of choice when Charlton play.

Service is ok the food is not that good though, the meat was cold and only two small pieces of roast potatoes. Vegetables were cooked well, as it was there first Sunday for food and we seemed to be only dinners, they weren't interested in any feedback. I personally wouldn't return.

The Pub absolutely loved it BARMAIDS outstanding service especially the gals called Claire and Mo so welcoming bubbly , chatty , I also met the landldy Nikki , enquiring about function hall she couldn't have been more accommodating, also her partner Chris lovely couple customers all seemed very happy , prompt service bar snacks a great selection of every drink going great outdoor area to accommodate us smokers lovely atmosphere . Thanks to all at the BUGLE HORN Charlton my husband and I will definitely look to hire ure function area and also be visiting regularly .

Nice pub especially on a sunny day - good outside space. Whenever I have been there are always short staffed, long wait for drinks at bar and even longer for food. Reasonable priced though and good enough.

Decent pub, limited number of beers but all the usuals covered. Limited food menu... Needs to improve this. The pub has potential but is currently well below that. Need a better food menu and could make the sport viewing areas more comfortable

Haven't been there since the 90's but loved the changes! Will visit again after the match at the Valley. Good beer and friendly locals. Charlton still a village after so many changes. My Grandad lived round the corner on Guild Road.

Recent refit, improved decor, much improved ale. Adnam's Ghost Ship fresh, poured to a perfect pint. Management making an effort. Worth a revisit if you have been put off before.

Nice people there not tried the food so can't give it full stars they have a lot of things going on for fun nights
