A lovely and lively pub with a nice atmosphere. Had a quick drink and a throw of a few darts.

Well! We have just found our mutually convenient location for an after Friday end work quick one. Good parking for multiple trucks, very pleasant bar staff and outside seating to watch the world go by and you enjoy a cold one! See everyone, same place, sameish time. Next week!

Lovely Sunday lunch here today parked up easily got a table and served straight away, food came so quick, I had roast pork hubby had roast beef both were beautiful tasty and just enough hubby had apple crumble and custard for desert staff were nice and friendly and I'd definitely recommend it here and would like to go back again a lovely place.

Great little village pub, feels very much a local pub for local people as you walk in but very friendly staff.

We had a family Sunday lunch for 13 people and all 13 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were very accommodating and friendly . Will definitely book again.

Popped in for lunch. Double burger, great chips and excellent slaw. Wife had fish and chips which she described as best she has had in a long time. Service was excellent and very reasonably priced. Will be back.

Absolutely awful food. Everything was so greasy to the point we left most of the food. Triple cooked chips were more like warmed up triple cooked chips in a deep fryer with dirty fat. The meat parmo (had some fancy name that eludes me) was disgusting, overcooked chicken, cheese sauce instead of bechamel and a second thought of cold sliced cheap bacon. NOT NICE! Burgers, dripping with grease!! Service was below par, not welcoming at all. Place smelt moist and damp and this was evident from the flies. Drove past this place a few times thinking from the outside it looks lovely, very disappointing Car parking was minimal and difficult. Do not recommend

Had a lovely Sunday Lunch today , excellent service from super polite staff.Both our meals were very good (clean plates left ! )also the apple pie with caramel /cream was delicious 😋

Food was good, service wasn't fantastic. We unfortunately chose a table right on the roadside where loads of cars were pulling up really close to us to collect takeaway but there were other tables available at the rear.

We ordered a Sunday lunch to take out last Sunday, and wow what a beautiful meal...we couldn’t fault it one bit...we have ordered again today

Amazing parmo. And the chips are to die for. The garlic Mayo is also one of the best I have tasted. This is the meaty parmo. Can’t wait to return to try the chorizo and BBQ sauce parmo.

Me and my Husband order a Sunday lunch for collection, it was beautiful. Best we have had in a long time.

Under staffed . The outside tables needed ash trays and empty glasses cleared more regularly . But the drinks were cold and wet.

Very tasty Sunday lunch, just hate food all pilled up on one plate, shame people don't dress up anymore as everyone in tracksuit watching videos on phones.😆

Went for Sunday dinner and the meat was like wafer thin sandwich meat that was slimy. The veg was all overdone mush and it was all just thrown on the plate. Never again!!

Was lucky to get a table at short notice for sunday lunch which was really nice , large portions and well priced at 10.95 , would go here again.

After reading excellent reviews today my son and I went for Sunday lunch and we weee rather disappointed the whole meal had too much salt on making it taste of salt and not what it was supposed to taste like, the meat (beef) as tough as old boots and also I had what looked like fluff from a tea towel under the meat, yorkshire puddings werent very nice either really hard to cut through without trying to fight them with a knife and fork. We left more than we could eat. Sorry won't be eating here again.

Food was great, service was very slow and when asked about a deal on fb the barman got agitated refused to honour it and offered to "talk to me like a man"

You must pre order the yorkshire pudding wraps! I got there and they had sold out so settled for a mixed meat Sunday lunch which was awesome. The best Sunday lunch I've had in a long time.

In a word, TERRIBLE food disappointing service poor, they couldn't wait for us to leave, and it was only 9pm. Definitely won't be going back.

We visited here for the first time after hearing lots of good things. We weren't disappointed. The parmo was one of the best I've had, the hunters chicken was tasty and the chips were lovely. We will definitely be back!

Rubbish if you don't eat meat heavily! Don't even bother! They have a bias against anyone who doesn't eat meat or dairy!

This place is completely unprofessional. They are constantly attacking those who think differently than them and their Facebook page is littered with animal killing jokes. That is simply bad taste. Never giving them my business and will be letting everyone I know about this as well.

Poor service. Additionally, the restaurant was very dirty inside (bugs, etc) and the food was maybe a 2/10. Tasted very poor quality. Will not be returning. Edit: I write a review and that is how childish and horribly the company responds? Denying every poor review. Point proven.

Amazing food and amazing staff. The vast majority of the negative reviews near the date of 07/01/19 are in retaliation to a Facebook post by the Buck Inn, giving away unlimited bacon during the month of "Veganuary". Majority of the reviews are from angry vegans. Any meat eaters out there would love it here. Highly recommended! 5 stars.
