Food was lovely although there was no salt and vinegar on the chips and no sauces were provided separately, however the delivery time was very poor as it arrived more than 20 minutes after the pre requested set delivery time

not as good as usual cold, fish very oily and soggy the fish needs to be wrapped on its own to stop it becoming soggy

Ordered 2 bits of chicken. Got hot wings instead. Bit disappointed this time. Normally no issues.

Good value and portion size but the chips were scrappy bits and not thick cut.

On one of the coldest nights so far the food arrived late and cold - to be expected. The quality expected was meh, fine if from a non-specialised fish & chip eaterie but my expectations were a lot higher for a traditional, long established core business. That said I will try again as maybe a busy night and they are obviously doing well in general based on other reviews.

At 18.55 pm i found my order on my doorstep i have a ring doorbell and a door knocker it was very cold i reheated it but it was not fit to eat. As you can see above it was delivered at 8.23 pm I would like my money refunded please

I thought I was ordering from my usual “The Brother’s Fish Bar” in Seven Kings, but it turned out to be this branch, in Chadwell Heath instead. My family and I were immensely disappointed with our order. The sausage in batters had a weird smell to them and tasted really artificial. The chips were stodgy and clumped together like paste, the cod roe was squashed and out of its batter shell. The fish was the only thing which was acceptable. This is the First and last order from here.

The app said courier at restaurant for 15 minutes and when I call restaurant the driver wasn’t even there just eat are a waste of time

The food was good as always, but I tracked the delivery driver take my order 2 miles in the opposite direction before coming back, past the chip shop, and delivering (warmish) food to me. I don’t understand why he would collect my food, take it 2 miles in the wrong direction, pass directly by the chip shop and then deliver to me. It just makes no sense.

The fish was very oily and didn’t taste good. The salad was a joke: old dry lettuce, 2 thin slices of tomato that were halved and 6 quarter pieces of cucumber. (A slice had been cut into 4) and I paid more than £3 for that. We’ll never again!!

Absolutely lovely food piping hot when it got delivered only down side was my curry sauce leaked everywhere and hardly no sauce in the pot 🙈

The haddock was fresh and batter was crispy and perfect. Chips were dry and would not go down my throat !! I added a message for soggy chips a few times and was ignored.

Food here is really nice but there was a drop off before mine and that took the heat away from the two burgers. And being delivered in a Lidl chill bag don't help

Absolutely disgraceful! We have received someone else’s order completely, and when attempting to phone the shop to resolve they have been rude and put the phone down on us. The orders were completely different and so a waste. Last time ordering from here. A mistake is forgivable, it happens but the customer service is appealing. Especially in these times where money is tight.

My order was never delivered after waiting for 1hr 40m I had to personally go and pick my order up from the restaurant absolutely terrible service from just eat,

The chips wasn't cooked I have sore belly my wife not well

The medium fish fillet was a good portion size for a change, moist chunky white flakes and was delivered hot. However, the batter let it down, it was flat and soggy and not crispy and crunchy. The batter was more like a flat blanket. I ordered a large portion of chips (£5.95) but what I got was more like a regular portion size. Overall disappointing, gone are the days when fish n chips was a value meal. ☹️☹️

I often order from here and usually collect directly and am familiar with the portion sizes. These 2 pieces of cod were small not medium and as a regular customer am extremely disappointed
