This is the best pub in Sheffield by a mile, perfect blend of cozy for the winter, beautiful beer gardens for the summer, absolutely stunning selection of beers and fantastic staff. Real sense of community, great music, just all around good vibes!

What a pub. Proper beers, big selection of cask ales for Sheffield and further afield. My jaw dropped when two pints of Critters and 2 of the delicious 'dirty' scotch eggs with black pudding was 10 something. Decent views from the beer garden and a friendly crowd and staff. Total gem.

Not eaten, but beer top notch. Good variety & well kept. Have music some nights. I've only been in the colder months, but beer garden looks great for a summer evening. Has an interesting, very cosmopolitan Heeley clientele. Bar staff always friendly and efficient.

A friendly and vibrant atmosphere with a large selection of ales and drinks. It does get very busy at times with a small bar and interior, although the large beer garden has excellent views of Sheffield, very pretty at sunset!

A great place to visit before Sheff U games - park on street within 200 yds of pub. Great to visit if you're alone or in a group or meeting up. Hand pulled Stones bitter recommended! Easy 15 min Walk to the ground.

Fantastic pub, great views. A perfect summer spot. Gets really busy when the sun comes out, so get there early to secure a spot in the garden for a refreshing pint!

Very cool hipster bar, great views, outdoor areas, there was a cool artsy market on and a burgervan. Dont know if they did their own food never tried but will be going back

Went before the Sheffield United match, the atmosphere was great. The staff and other customers were friendly. About 20 minute walk to the stadium.

This pub is a bit of everything good ales which is my main motivation a good atmosphere and two beer gardens! Very child and dog friendly there really isn't much to dislike about this pub.

Nothing has changed since my last review of this pub still fantastic pub best beer selection in Sheffield and best most welcoming staff here! My hat goes off to the team there always a job well done.

Great pub, great selection of beers, great piece of Sheffield history... however, there’s always at least one family with loud, mardy, spoilt, crying kids ruining the atmosphere and making it seem like A&E at the children’s hospital.

Great real ale pub. Very envious of the folk who live near it, so it's therefore easy to get to. Me? Well I have to take a 30 min bus journey. Worth it though.

Great boozer. Thel locals and staff are friendly. It's dog friendly too, well outside was at least but I think insides fine to, maybe ring ahead if you want to be sure. Good selection of local beers and ales from brewers like Neepsend Brewery. A range of international ales too, pretty sure there was some American and a New Zealand brewery. Got ya typical booze too like Guinness and Aspall cider. Traditional style pub, usually busy in the evenings giving it a decent pub atmosphere. Bar snacks and all that too.

What a lovely, proper boozer with a great beer garden. Two pints of Stout, spinach bhaji and a bag of cheese and onion crisps... a great way to spend an early summer afternoon.
