Called in here on a micropub tour of the area, a true micropub selling real ale, made to feel welcome, friendly staff and locals, dog friendly. We stayed for a few hours and they allowed us to bring food in. Beer was good. Nothing to dislike here if you like the micropub culture, what you would expect and what you get.

A pleasant drinking establishment serving nice session ales. If you want a quiet drink with like minded individuals (ale house drinkers) then this is the place for you.

This is a traditional Micro pub in the pure sense as it only serves real beers tapped straight out of the barrel. They also do a selection of wines, ciders and some ready mixed spirits. If you want to drink a glass full of fizzy water full of chemicals (lager) then this isn't the place for you. If however you would like to try out some of the incredible variety of British beers (some better than others depending on your personal taste), this is the place to go. A Micro pub as opposed to a micro bar

Colin the bar staff was amazing but the cooler was down and beer was warm. Cannot fault the staff but can fault the beer/. Such a shame as the place has a niche as its a proper micro pub but the management is poor

Yes, the name is a Pratchett reference. Lovely friendly microbrewery. They have a few beers and a cider on. Friendly barman and pleasant atmosphere. It feels oddly like a cafe rather than a pub (though they don't do food). As a Pratchett fan I appreciate a lot of the decor. They also have a small bookshelf.
