The Broadbean in Monmouthshire

This wonderful little gem run by a husband from Turkey and wife from Slovakia prepare some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had. We had eggplant & red pepper mousaka and lamb tangine and topped the meal off with delicious homemade ice cream. Wonderful wine selection as well. Very reasonable prices. It’s a must visit in Broadway!!

We found this restaurant by accident and were really pleased. It had a lovely atmosphere and the food was really tasty with a good vegetarian selection. Good service too.

Another Fabulous evening at the Broadbean! The food is perfect and the service is always great, super ambiance with spanish/latino music. Ahmet always accommodates vegetarian options which is splendid for me. The food here keeps you going back for more, cooked to perfection.

Down an alley, not out on the main street where everyone else is eating, but if you want outstanding small plates, don’t miss this place, Not one dish that wasn’t excellent.

When we returned to Broadway in the Cotswolds (after two years) we were so pleased to find the Broadbean open and very busy! Run by a lovely young couple (the husband a fabulous Michelin-level chef and his wife the best at welcoming you and helping you navigate the menu). The innovative and delicious menu delights both food connoisseurs and those just hungry for a good meal. Everyone we asked (our house owners, shop keepers, etc.) continue to recommend it as the best place in town and we agree! Be sure to make reservations!

What a lucky find. A great little tapas restaurant in the middle of Broadway in the Cotswolds. Perfectly cooked and piping hot. The lamb tajine was my fave but everything was yummy. Glad we booked. Restaurant was full all evening.

Tapas with a fabulous twist. We discovered this little family run gem in a back street of beautiful Broadway in the Cotswolds and we couldn't have been happier. The food was all magnificent, prepared in sight of the diners and the wine selection (many by the glass) was just as impressive. Rounded off by fabulous service - an evening to remember.

What a first rate find. Lovely tapas,beautifully cook (the prawns in particular were so good…so many restaurants over cook them….these were just right) . The croquettes were, I think,home made and again just perfect. A nice selection of wine,by bottle or glass. We will go again!

It is a great little tapas restaurant hidden on a side street. But Broadway high street is a small place so it is not difficult to find. We had a nice evening meal. Not too expensive and we liked all our dishes

We arrived a little early, and the restaurant was busy, However we were seated straight away and offered drinks. The restaurant is cosy. Front of house very professional and friendly. The menu was set out well, and it was easy to select individual dishes of your own choosing. It was great to see the chef at work and the food was lovely. The lamb melted in your mouth. We will definitely visit again when we go back to Broadway.

Hostile / rude / standoffish service Poo Shute left in a prawn which totally put me off my meal Patatas bravas were McCain chips with Heinz tomato soup on top Staffed peppers (picante) looks like out of a packet from Tesco Lamb taginewas cold unfortunately and too scared to ask to warm it up due to hostile service Bread Seema a bit raw and undercooked Muhammra was quite nice Hoummous was claggy and dry Absolutely shocking.

It could be enough to say that they were fully booked on a Monday night. There’s a decent choice of tapas which are made from first rate ingredients and very well prepared and cooked. The prawns, the chicken and mushrooms all stood out but we enjoyed every ( good sized for tapas) dish. The staff are great, you can watch the chef at work and the atmosphere is buzzy but quite intimate. Can’t wait to return.

Nice atmosphere and great staff but we were a little disappointed with the food as we felt it lacked the flavour, passion and freshness that we associate and love with tapas - maybe it was an off day as there are many good reviews.

Had a really lovely evening here. Great Tapas and the Sangria was delicious. Two things I’d point out that the prawns would be 100% better and more authentic if they were fresh prawns with the shells on , however we accept they may not always be available. The other thing to know is that a 10% service charge is automatically added to the bill, so an additional tip isn’t required, especially as the business is run by the actual owners ( front of house and kitchen ) and not by employees. Would highly recommend it for a relaxed evening with delicious dishes.
