lamb chops were as tough as leather - poor.

lamb madras curry is the best bought the prices have gone up zam zams taste the same and cheaper what does an open till 5

The kebab was quite tasty however we all agreed they were pretty small for kebabs on naan compared to other places. The chicken pakoras were burnt and dry :( and the large portion of chips felt a bit stingy also!

kebab was terrible the lamb unedible it was chewy and couldn't swallow it, donner meat didn't taste like anything and the nann was soggy

Food is usually very good, but my main chef special, had way to much curry powder in it, and the fried rice wasn't fried. 😔

Tryed the house kebab it was lovely nan so fresh and always great food

The delivery guy said he’s 5 mins away and no exaggeration he took 30 mins. We called again and they said ‘a few minutes’ and we waited another 15 mins at least. Just unbelievably slow service overall, but the food was really good and flavourful.

NEVER EVER AGAIN this was absolutely the worst takeout we’ve ever received in the UK . COLD , Poor quality small portions. We through it in the garden maybe foxes might try it. Threw they probably think we moved with the decline of what they would normally get given even our cats hid behind the chair when we dangled a piece of what resembled a length of rubber we dragged in from the street Don’t waste ya money. Better off ordering from Liverpool it might arrive hot From a very disappointed hungry member of this household

My go to now for Donner and Chicken Tikka Kebab. Fresh, tasty and always delivered ahead of time. Nice Samosa too.

Far too much sauce which then drowned all the pitta and meats. The meat was decent in fairness. The onion bajhi was more like a pattie and was not very nice. Not sure if owners or cook has changed but this is quite a drop in standards since I last eat from there earlier in the year.

Onion barggies where awful. Full of fat. Tikka was hard and Bhuna awful. Decided to try again after 2 years. Will not use again!!

Best meal from a takaway I have ever had. Delivery was on time and the food was hot like it had just come off the cooker. Hats off would recommend all day long.

I've lost count of the positive reviews I've given to these guys, but if they weren't worth the time it takes to write a review, I wouldn't bother. Once again, the order was delivered early, piping hot and as always, delicious. I enthusiastically recommend the "House Special Kebab". It might look a little pricey at a tenner, but believe me, it's a bargain for the quality and quantity that you get and worth every single penny. Many thanks, once again guys. Friday night is kebab night and on kebab night we order from The British Raj. See you next week guys!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Their food is always delicious, delivered early and always piping hot. Add to this their extensive menu and very reasonable pricing and it's easy to understand why they're my go to takeaway. Very disappointed. I always order the all meat kebab and it has shot up in price to £10. I understand that food has gone up but usually it is massive and has a big naan bread with it. It was half the size as normal and tiny naan bread with it. It is not worth the price . Will be finding finding another takeaway from now on.

Ordered tandoori sizzler special and food was very poor quality. 1 king prawn in the dish, Meat was burned black, dry and chewy. Onion bhaji was tasteless. Threw away the whole order it was that bad.

Absolutely wonderful again! We didn't tip the delivery driver, anyway to rectify this? We were out in the back when he came.

The onion bhajis were flat which I don’t like. The curry lacked flare and richness. The yoghurt was mixed with chilli sauce so didn’t eat that. Prob won’t order again but it was worth a try.
