We had an incredible time during out christmas dinner for a team of 20. Mimi was super helpful and made our visit great, she was flexible and worked with us when we were late ensuring that we got our food and drinks which were delicious. Shout out to Mimi and the team for such a nice time

Very nicely decorated small restaurant. The parmesan chips were wonderful, as was the hummus. Good service too.

Second visit to Brigade. This time with my team for a work dinner. As with previous visit, a fantastic night of great food and service. We love what Brigade stands for and the passion of the staff for what they represent is clear. Those ribs are…amazing!

I had the fortune to attend a Google Takeover evening in this beautiful venue. A short walk from Tower Bridge is this phenomenal restaurant in a converted fire station. That alone set the scene! They are the home for a amazing charity 'Beyond food' and supported 'Google' to Collab in cooking for us. The food, was absolutely phenomenal! Hats of to Google and beyond food for pulling off what was a magical evening for a good cause. The mackerel starter had a perfect smokey flavour, crispy skins and firm in texture. The beef was cooked rare (way it should be) with a blackened half garlic that I couldn't get enough of. I'll be returning to test the menu on a non-event night!

We came by chance while discovering the city of London and we were really pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received from everyone. Particularly MIMI who (luckily) spoke French 🥰😂 the food is good and the staff are great. I highly recommend!

We had a fantastic meal. All the staff were very attentive and the food was excellent, so delicious! I can’t wait to find a reason to come back, and I love the story behind the result.

I recommend this restaurant, the dishes are copious and cooked in front of you thanks to the open kitchen. We ate the fish and ships and the burger, the dishes are copious and nicely presented. The restaurant offered us toasted focaccia bread with just the right amount of salted butter (a delight!) The very nice atmosphere and the ultra pleasant service with a special mention for Julia who served us. Very smiling, really friendly and very professional. I recommend this restaurant.

The venue, service were excellent, as was the food. Shame the chips are extra with a burger but tbh, worth every penny. Trainee serves were friendly and helpful. Limited menu but very good. I would definitely go back again. The only thing is the bar is close to the restaurant and it was very noisy.

We stumbled upon The Brigade while walking near the Tower Bridge and stopped in for a late dinner. What a fantastic place to have a great meal. We loved the staff, the service was top notch. As a matter of fact, we returned the following evening for our last meal in London. I would recommend this establishment to anyone who happens to be in the area. Great atmosphere, great service, friendly staff and the food is amazing.

We ate really delicious fish and chips here. Modern furnishings, but quite loud due to music and conversations. So if you want to chat, you might want to grab a table outside. Otherwise everything was great

Very nice place. Beer quite pricey, but no worse than usual. Fast serving, friendly staff + tasty snacks. Good place for a conversation, not too noisy.

I’ll summarise by saying that it all came to be what my friends and I agreed was our “most enjoyable meal together yet.” I’d like to particularly give thanks to Julia, who was not only as accommodating as can be, but also had the perfect energy for someone on the restaurant floor, by being a friendly, attentive conversationalist. And of course, Tomek, who ensured we were pleased, and managed to find time for a truly pleasant insight into the restaurant via casual conversation. I do strongly believe hospitality is imperative for creating a dining experience the consumer will remember, so for my visit to be the most hospitable dining experience I can recall, certainly merits my praise. The Hereford sirloin was incredible, from the presentation to the taste, and was most definitely cooked precisely to our request, and in a far timelier manner than expected. The kitchen, unquestionably, surpassed my expectations. Thank you once again to the whole team. I certainly hope to return in the future.

Everything would be perfect if in the end they didn't show up with another four pounds in their account as a donation to their social project! It's not cheap anymore and I thought this obligation was a steal!

For me the food was really average. But the most irritating thing was they asked us if we wanted still water and we said no after saying no they give us tap water. When we got the bill I saw 1.75 for water and I asked the waitress about it and her answer was "we purify the tap water that's why it is part of the bill.". For me it felt like a scam. First never asked for water still when they asked we said no. Then they charged for tap water.

Amazing place. Great ethos, food and people.

We had a wonderful meal and evening at this really great restaurant. This was such a fantastic refreshing change to all the formulaic chain restaurants and brasseries. A carefully planned small menu led to some really great tasting food. Beautifully cooked in a wood fired oven the food was so full of flavour and quality. Great service and such a stylish venue so close to London Bridge Station. The restaurant is such a worthwhile enterprise too. We hope to return again.

Great place for a lunch meeting - service was quick. Burrata and burnt beef ends were delicious, my guest said the steak was a little chewy. Would definitely come back and recommend.

My burger was nice. My friends who ordered the steak received cold sweet potato. The waitress was very friendly but the wait for food after the order was slow. There seemed to be an event when we arrived as the bar was full, but the restaurant was reasonably empty. It's a shame the restaurant doesn't have a coat check as we had to step over people bags and coats just to get into the restaurant. I have eaten here before, and the food is usually pretty good. I would still recommend a visit.

Fair warning: tourist from the States reporting in. The Brigade is excellent in every way imaginable. We were seeing a show nearby last evening, and after a little Googling I could surmise just by looking at the menu that this place is legit. The space is lovely, the service was impeccable, and the food was divine, so good I even ordered desert, which is rare for me. Truly one of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had, but with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Easily five stars across the board.

Excellent food served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Despite it being a busy night we were served promptly and the food was outstanding. Toilets and restaurant cleanliness was excellent. Absolutely will be back!!

What a great venue! Lots of people meeting for after work drinks which gave it a fantastic feel. Staff were truly fantastic, constantly supplied the table with water, hand wipes, drink requests etc. some of the best service I’ve experienced. Food was very very tasty and great value. I gave it 4/5 as the steak was very chewy, and could’ve done with some more seasoning. But otherwise amazing. Very good overall, would definitely recommend

Although we only had bqr snacks, these were delicious and good quality. The cocktails are original and well made. The fact they are a social enterprise is even better. Good value for money.

Based on the reviews, we chose this restaurant for dinner. When you enter you can't hear anything except loud music, it was even difficult to communicate with the waitress. However, the interior gives positive impressions. The food was good, at reasonable prices - for London. Friendly service. It's a pity that it's really noisy there and it's difficult to talk to each other in a larger group. If it doesn't bother anyone, you can go for food.

Organised our work Christmas Party which was held on 1st December 2023. The event was a huge success and everyone had a good time. The space was perfect, the food and drink was plentiful and the DJ provided a good party atmosphere. The social committee would like to thank Jenny for her expert help in planning our party and also to Paolo and his team on the night. This is a great venue and what makes it more exceptional is their work with The Beyond Food Foundation- a brilliant charity which our company was keen to support. Many thanks!

We popped into the Brigade Bar and Kitchen on Friday evening. We were greeted by a very nice woman who said we could take which ever table we wanted and then promptly given the menus and asked if we wanted any drinks. We were not rushed, the tables nicely spaced out, good vibe and music and a really nice atmosphere. Nice drinks selection and range of food, not overly baring menu. We ordered and food came just at the right time, not too quick and not slow. We really enjoyed our meal and the restaurant and service, half way through we said we would defiantly come back and recommend and how nice the staff were. I popped to the gents (nice and clean) and then I noticed a post about the restaurant and how they train and provide jobs to those most vulnerable and everything fell into place. This restaurant represents those that work hard to achieve when they are down in life, a credit to the charity that supports them and Simon Boyle the founder and CEO. We are not often in London but when we are and out for dinner we will defiantly eat here. Well done all of you!

Truly an incredible experience. To say that I am in the debt of the hospitality professionals in this amazing space is an understatement. I was traveling abroad and found myself in a rather difficult position regarding work. They kindly opened themselves and their space to suit exactly what I needed. Their are no shortage of eateries in the amazing London Bridge area but Brigade Bar and Kitchen should be top of the list for any business traveler. Thank you again!

Great restaurant menu and really good service

The restaurant looks great from the outside, and it doesn't disappoint inside either. The atmosphere is good, the staff are friendly and the furnishings new and modern. The menu looked amazing, but I went for the turbot and muscles, which was disappointing.The skin wasn't crispy and the dish wasn't well balanced. It could have done with something to use all the sauce as well, even some bread would've been great. We were also asked as we finished our meal if everything was OK, which was a little odd. We had unpitted olives (which were delicious!), but had nowhere to put the stones. I also didn't have anywhere to put my muscle shells. However, in general the service was really good. 3 stars may be a little harsh, but for the price I did expect better.

It's a bit unfortunate that this place, which used to have the best English Breakfast in all of London before Covid, slid so much in quality of food and popularity. It's beyond me why they stopped the weekend brunch menu, when it seemed to be their most popular one... Overall, I really care about the concept of this place, but I think it hasn't been managed very well. Their donations went from GBP 1 to 4, and prices became quite astronomical, but the overall quality of the menu, the food, and the whole experience, has dramatically declined. I'd be happy to see this place restored to its former glory.

The food was alright here. Within our family of four we ordered three entrees and a soup with bread. The focaccia was only a few cubes.

Stunning decor, beautiful menu, nice selection of craft beer. Particularly liked the charcoal grill and smoker, brilliant bit of theatre.

Two of us shared the Sirloin Steak with potatoes, broccoli, and salad as sides. Plenty for 2 people and we both agreed the steak was tender, flavorful, and together with the sides an incredible meal. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. Completely enjoyable!

This is a hidden gem in London Bridge. Chef Simon founded a Charity to help individuals impacted by homelessness and crisis to learn skills using food as a catalyst. Beautiful food, purposeful goal.

Pleasantly surprised by this place in a busy and touristic L.Bridge area; the food was great (we had a picanha steak for 2 to share), some sides, wine and espresso martini but what really stands out is the social work of the restaurant and the great customer service. It's so rare nowadays to ask customer which table they would prefer, do not rush them with the order and don't interupt every few minutes etc. So really thank you guys for that. Decor is nice, a bit loud/busy on Thu evening but still was possible to have conversation without shouting at each other😉The only thing that Id change is the pudding menu - only cheeseboard, icecreams/sorbets/fruits combination... can we please have some cake back on menu?🙏

Desde hace 5 años, cada vez que viajamos a Londres, (que solemos ir una vez al año) vamos a cenar o a comer a este restaurante. Es un sitio muy agradable y con buena comida, además de ser un referente en la lucha contra la marginación social, ya que tanto los camareros y camareras y el personal de cocina son personas vulnerables en busca de un futuro mejor.

A good mean and a brilliant cause supporting people back into work. I’ll be back.

A great stop just before Tower Bridge (hop-on/off bus tour). Great walk from restaurant to bridge through park. We had such a wonderful culinary experience.. firefighter tequila drink was tops... 🥕 soup 🍲 fish and dessert 🍨... enjoy great service and fantastic meal choices.

Wow what an experience what a building what amazing chefs

Amazing food! The menu is seasonal so if you have a favourite, make sure you don't leave it too late to go back to have it again. The decor is very stylish and on trend inviting you from the outside as you look in through the paned windows. The open kitchen is a nice touch as you watch your food being prepared while you wait and their signature coal wood fire grills are mouth watering. The staff are always warm and welcoming which is always a plus and most importantly it's a good feeling to spend money towards a good cause. The establishment is also a social enterprise venue helping vulnerable adults in the quest to better lives and end homelessness. Truly admirable.

Paulo and Angela - what incredible people. They really looked after my group on Jan 25th. So many of my colleagues commented on how great this place was. The food was fabulous, the building has a great history and the ethos of The Brigade is incredible. I've already suggested The Brigade to other colleagues and I'm adding this to the internal list of 'great places' that we have here at my workplace. Very, very impressed! See you all soon!!

Das Essen war super lecker und innovativ. Wir können den Burger sehr empfehlen aber auch die vegetarischen Speisen sind absolut spitze. Das Lager Bier schmeckt ebenfalls Lecker. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und sehr nett. Zu 5 Sternen reicht es leider nicht, da der Preis doch sehr hoch ist für die Speisen und man für 2 Personen schnell 80 Pfund los ist. Und das für Hauptspeisen und insgesamt 4 Getränke.

Yesterday we had dinner in this amazing friendly restaurant. The staff are very helpful, the service is good and the food is delicious and well presented. The restaurant works with homeless and unemployed people and trains them for the positions required to operate the restaurant. We will definitely return.

I asked for a chai latte and the guy serving me told me rudely to go to Starbucks. Staff at the entrance is friendly at least and beautiful interior
