The Bridge Tavern in Manchester

This is a place we use quite a lot and usually enjoy our visits there. It is generally a rough and ready place but has a good atmosphere and is a comfortable place to have a drink or two. On this latest visit We managed to get a couple of chairs by the window, and it was great to see the goings on of the city centre. They have a really good range of beers at city centre prices and you always get served pretty quickly by the friendly staff.

We entered the venue to be made very welcome at the door. The pub was bouncing and happy. We met great people hard to get served tho . At the door, there was a homeless lady, the kindness the door staff showed helping this lady was amazing. We were truly impressed. We will definitely be visiting the pub again very soon.

A few of us called in here on a Thursday late afternoon and had a good time. Although it was still early, the pub was bustling and had a noisy but enjoyable atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly, and there is a great range of drinks to choose from. The bitter I had wasn’t great to be honest, so I changed the IPA which was excellent. The prices are pretty much city centre as you would expect. Not sure about the reruns of bull’s-eye on the television is around the place though!

My partner and I visit when in Manchester. Fantastic music, friendly staff. Great selection of beers wines and spirits. Lively atmosphere at time , but friendly. Worth a visit.

Came in today for the live music and a couple of drinks with a mate and met a fantastic bartender called Sandra she made us very welcome and even gave us advice on what drinks to order and told us places to go that's good on a Sunday night....great establishment with excellent staff!

Service is absolutely impeccable . The staff are so helpful and skilled especially the young man called Tyler who helped me choose the best cocktail . Would heavily recommend for a night with Freinds or family .

I came to the bridge on a friday night was met by a pleasant young lady I think her name was sandra absolutely ideal bar lady for any occasion, on the ball very welcoming would definitely recommend going there for the vibes but not only for the vibes the bar tender sandra

Me and my dear friend Susan came in while passing and had a wonderful time sampling the cocktail list! There were two keen bartenders behind the bar I believe to be called Lewis and Phoebe, who showed us a fantastic time and really made us feel welcome in Manchester! We will be sure to be back and I hope to see even more of their cocktail talents!!!!!! Pay rises needed ASAP

I’m an explorer in the pub/bar world and thankfully I came across the bridge tavern. Music to my ears and drinks to get rid of my fears. I was served by the lovely phoebe, fast and welcoming service. Spanking French martinis on the go with no hesitation. Shake shake and done or was I done ;) aha but no great bartender and have recommended my friends to come in just because of ur staff :)

Came here the other day by after a bad week (my wife divorced me and took the kids). I was greeted by a lovely bartender called Joe who was quick with his fingers and hands. He also smelled really nice.

New to Manchester, this was the first pub I stumbled upon and my favourite by far! Staff are inviting, sociable and light-hearted. One of the bar staff in particular Tyler, made amazing cocktails and always went the extra mile to ensure customers are content.

After a very long week (That’s saying it politely) myself and a few work colleagues nipped in for an after work drink. I can’t express how attentive and uplifting Sandra was, safe to say she was partly the reason we stayed for 3 more rounds! She’s most certainly a credit to your team and took the time to speak to us all which lead to a great crack and jokes! Wonderful to know there are some hard working people who are naturally kind and pleasant. Thank You again Sandra we will be back !!

Called in after a meal with my partner & the place has a really nice vibe - Sandra the bar lady was lovely & a credit to the place ! Will return when in Manchester next time

I found the Bridge Tavern by accident when my Taxi took a different route than usual but it was the best thing he could have done. Not only did I discover this fabulous little gem down a side street but I found my little pal Sandra working behind the bar who I'd lost touch with. The young licensee impressed me with his love for the old classics which the fabulous DJ Jenko plays for us. As well as the great atmosphere it also has a good age range of customers. I've been going in 3 weeks now and each week is just as good as the last. It's now one of my fave pubs in the whole of Manchester!!

Sandra is a welcoming, speedy and funny character to be around. It's why I come in to the Bridge. Great service. I'll definitely be coming back.
