The Breeze Hill in Isle of Anglesey

We were a party of 8 with 2 dogs and were made welcome. Our evening meals for each person were very good for each one of us. The draft beer was excellent as well. The young waitresses serving us were very helpful and efficient. We didn’t stay there as we had a cottage nearby. The tables and bar were clean and warm and most convivial. Considering the quality of food the overall bill was very reasonable. Adverse ratings seem to be totally at odds with our experience.

Wow- just popped in for a drink and decided to have a meal. I had the best tasting steak and ale pie ever, the pastry was melt in the mouth gorgeous. My hubby had the burger- it was very tasty and substantial. The staff were super friendly, prices very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Absolutely terrible food the fish was of normal size the chips were counted the staff all young school girls stood around chatting save your money go elsewhere.

We were only having a drink, but Maureen and the team made Mom's 90th Birthday very special and one to remember. Thank you so much for your kindness it's much appreciated.

Although we hadn't booked a table, staff were very accommodating it helped as it was early evening too. Great choice on the menu and the food was really good - but what sold the whole experience to us was the superb service we received from the delightful Cassie. Polite, attentive and courteous she was just so refreshing - a definite asset to your business. Highly recommend a visit here - we'll definitely be back

Stayed for a week in benllech visited the breeze inn every day for drinks and food a great friendly pub all the staff are lovely and friendly welcomed us and the dog every day can’t wait return Finn the husky’s fave place apart from the beach of course

Been in a few times while on holiday in Benllech,not eaten here yet hence 4 stars, nice pub, nice staff and very good beer, plenty of parking

Stayed for 3 nights, location was perfect for visiting different areas of Anglesey.Rooms were spotless and had lovely views over the bay. Lovely food, nothing was to much trouble for our host Maureen. We will definitely be returning.

Bit weird, says dog friendly, but was told there's a limit in the dog friendly room. Moved on

Set in a lovely location. Room large and fabulous sea view. Quality furnishings. Varied menu and well stocked bar. Staff all very friendly -shout out to Mary who was attentive, never still abd we had some laughs with her. Maureen and Dave are spot on with the hotel and bar and is all run very efficiently. They are very friendly and approachable.

Fabulous Bar/hotel. Food is excellent and staff are lovely. Would recommend to everybody. My dog was welcomed in an appropriate area too. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Enjoyed a family meal, Staff were pleasant, chatty, helpfull and served us promptly. Food was very Tasty, cooked as stated on our menus. Portion sizes were Good. All were attentive to our needs and Very Dog Friendly which will Guarantee Return Visits. 🐾🐾👍.

Had a fantastic meal here last week. Didn't book (will know for next time to as it was busy) and was lucky to get a table. We received a lovely warm welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. Large portions and well cooked. I had sea bream ,French peas and New potatoes. The fish was really fresh and you could tell. OH had a chicken burger and chips and really enjoyed it. We followed it up with a Sticky toffee pudding and a portion of ice cream for the OH. Fantastic and reasonably priced too. Highly recommended

Arrived on a monday I was drenched as it was raining and I had walked about 3 miles was seated and asked which drink I wanted Had to ask for a menu and was told 4 of the dishes were sold out. Couldn’t find anything else I fancied on the menu as no fish and chips/curry/pie or scampi Said that there was nothing else wanted and the lady serving said well I’ve poured your drink now(which hadn’t been brought to me) so I didn’t see the problem with me leaving Clearly the staff thought I should have stayed to have the drink. Disappointing as I’ve had a lovely meal previously in here Shame…

Enjoyed a delicious meal here after a day at the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was very nice and decently priced. The restaurant is dog friendly too!

Upon arrival we asked for a dog friendly table and were told they were fully booked. After finding a table we settled for just a drink but then a lovely member of staff Mary, managed to squeeze us in for our food. The food & the service we were given by Mary & other members of The breeze hill team was exceptional. It was a very busy Friday night but we were made to feel very welcome. We haven’t spent much time in Benllech before but will return again & again due to the people, hospitality & location. Thank you

Great place! We stayed for two nights on B&B basis. The rooms were absolutely spotless, and the veggie breakfast excellent. Run & managed by two very hardworking people Dave & Mo who are supported by a good team. On the morning we left we noticed 10 staff members involved in an organised training session in the large function room, which is a nod to the professionalism of the place. Looking forward to returning.

Perfect location, very close walk to the beach. I would highly recommend, me my husband and son stayed one night, loved the location. Very clean and cozy rooms. Breakfast was top quality, the lady was amazing. We will definitely be staying again. 🙏

Booked here for a meal while on holiday, very disappointing, apparently some staff were off ill and the staff that were working didn't no lager from bitter. Significant amount of food on the menu wasn't available but staff didn't tell us this until we went to order. The chicken burgers were ok, everything else was pretty disappointing. Definitely better places to eat

We visited the Breeze Hill Hotel with friends on our trip to Anglesey. We had a beautiful meal, excellent food and waited on by a lovely, friendly lady called Mary who honestly couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a fabulous evening and indeed we did! Terrible. The waitresses were extremely rude. They fobbed us off and congregated in-front of us and other customers and were talking about them in full view their vibe was awful and not friendly. When we sat down we didn’t have time to read the menu and the waitress stormed off when we asked for a few more minutes. To add insult to injury the food was abysmal and nothing like their fine dining adverts on the website

We had a fantastic family meal here with 13 people. The staff were accommodating, attentive and had a laugh with us. The food was tasty and large portions. One of our party has a number of allergies and the kitchen staff were very accommodating to provide them with a meal that meets their requirements. A great night had by all - thanks!

Meal with friends...food delicious, waiting staff friendly and attentive.

We visited for an evening meal which we enjoyed after an initial scare. We had checked the menu online as my wife cannot have dairy or gluten. The online menu had offered some salads and a vegan curry. So we were a little worried when the menu handed to us had neither. It’s good the meals had allergy items listed, but dairy free meals (without gluten either) were absent. Fortunately, the lovely staff confirmed that the curry special was dairy free. We enjoyed the meals and the service. Please don’t change the menu from the website and please provide more than one non-gluten/non-dairy meal.

Booked a last minute table today for a family meal. We were seated by a pleasant young lady who was most attentive throughout do a big tick there. There was another young lady who we asked about something that we hadn't received. Her reply was pretty short and unhelpful. My main problem was the food. I've looked at the reviews about the beautiful food and wonder where they ate. Ours was mediocre and all in the party were in agreement. Gravy was watery, roasties were just warm and the cauliflower cheese was hard. Overall, a very average experience. Will think twice about returning.

Went in for lunch after a trip to the beach. Friendly, welcoming service with exceptional food. Highly recommend the fish goujons. These went down well with everyone on the table.

We ate here 4 nights in the trot as the food was amazing. Very large portions and great variety. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely pool room too. Dog friendly pub and everyone made welcome.

Nice pub and open for lunch on a Wednesday unlike nearby places Bangers and mash was great and served by friendly and helpful lady. Beer great too! Thankyou

Our visit to The Breeze Hill started with a warm welcome from proprietor Maureen to this lovely pub. My well-appointed comfortable room had a lovely setting overlooking the bay, perfect and after a long day the comfortable bed was much appreciated. The menu has many tempting choices; the seafood tagliatelle was excellent, accompanied by some very well kept Robinson’s beer. Breakfast the next morning was first class; this is a great place to say.

Really looked after by the landlady and staff who let us sit outside on a hot and busy day while food was prepared and shouted us in when it was ready, just really helpful and accommodating. Food was lovely and we'll definitely be back 👍🏻

The food was alright but I have heard bad rumours about the owner being inappropriate to his underage staff.

Walked to the Breeze from the town as it nearing evening meal time it’s about a 10 minute walk. The outside advertised the fact they provided food in large letters. On arrival went through to the pool room as we wanted to watch the football. A very helpful staff member was accommodating and switched a TV on for us. The beer was fine and we served pretty fast. No complaints about the bar. The place was not really busy and there was plenty of staff. I then asked for a menu as we wanted to eat and was provided with a couple of menus. We read them and decided to order some food. Just before we could do this the menus were taken from us and we were told we couldn’t order food for about 2 hours. It was 5pm. We were not given an explanation why so just presumed there must have been a fault in the kitchen. As we finished our drinks planning where to eat next staff would regularly leave the kitchen carrying what looked like great food. A bit disappointed. I don’t like being negative and did look for an email for the pub before posting. The three stars are for the bar.

The host and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was very much better than the usual pub food, great portions, and value for money. The Snowdon burger lived up to it's name was massive. Dogs are also very welcome. Thank you for the very good service.

We went to this pub/hotel twice during a short break and we have amazing meals. I had an amazing Snowdon burger which was amazing, my wife had a 14oz gammon steak which was thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be visiting again next time we holiday in Anglesey.
