The food, it was simply fantastic! We started with a variety of their hot and cold mezes, which were fresh and full of flavor. Each dish was a perfect balance of textures and tastes. For the main course, we had the mixed grill, which was just as delicious—tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Not mentioning their baklava would be a crime, I think they are importing it directly from heaven! The ambience was warm and inviting, with a comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The background music was just right—not too loud—allowing us to enjoy our conversation without any interruptions. The service was excellent, and I must give a special mention to Nick, who was exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout the meal. He made sure we had everything we needed and added a personal touch to our dining experience.

The restaurant was pretty lovely and seating was nice, however we ordered a platter which was £114 and some of the meat tasted a bit odd but the rest of the food was quite good and the one who waited our table was polite

Had lunch with my family here and was pleasantly surprised. The portions were large and flavoured nicely. Not too spicy and not too sweet. Would definitely come back here. Highly recommend their casserole.

We had a lovely lunch on a busy Saturday. We had the salmon and a lamb shish and both were perfectly cooked and the portions are great value for money. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for any occasion. Will definitely be returning.

The service was very fast and attentive, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant, with its new decoration and concept, offers an environment where very successful families can dine. The meat is very delicious and I recommend the mixed kebab, the salad on the side is perfect, the seafood is delicious as a hot appetizer, you can order the mixed appetizer plate as a starter.

Amazing food, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. Portion sizes are very generous and the food comes out hot and fresh - really enjoyed visiting for a Saturday lunch and would recommend if you’re in the area!

Had dinner here with friends , the mix the grill and the kebab is of great value, served the big potion of meat rice and salad. EFFe beer is a must have!

We took a chance dining here because usually my husband does not like Mediterranean food much. It was my birthday…so my choice! The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! My husband actually loved it! And so did my children. To the point they want us to return with all the family for her 13th birthday! Thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening.

Unfortunately, nothing special to be honest. Sharing platter for two £60 - chicken wings - smoky and that's it, bland. Lamb chops were chewy and tasteless. Same story with the ribs, not a lot of meat on them, chewy and tasteless. Koftas were dry, and aparat from being spicy, not much flavour. Various chicken bits were the best. Also, complimentary Turkish bread with dips was nice. Rice was interesting, unique taste.Salad was fresh. Customer service was fine. Overall, not a good value for money.

Tasty food cooked to perfection. I ordered chicken livers for starter which is one dish that has to be cooked exactly right. They didn't disappoint - they were perfect. My parter had calamari which was also cooked very well. For the main, my partner has the mince lamb moussaka, and me being a bit greedy ordered the mixed grill. Both were exceptional. Everything was served quickly and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If I were going to complain about anything it would be the price for a bottle of sparkling water, and (a bugbear of mine) not mentioning the service charge on the menu. I would definitely return.

Absolutely spot on. The best restaurant in Bicester. We are regular customers at Bosphorus. The staff is always warm welcoming and extremely friendly. The food is always amazing and fresh. The almosphere was ok, the music was way to loud expecially when it was someone's birthday it's ear blowing. The food was mediocre, the fish was not seasoned at all, the chicken and lamb was tender but missing alot of flavour, lamb chops ok, adana was chewy, rice lacked flavour and the halloumi fries deffinetly shop bought frozen. One of the waiters kept coming up to our table invading our space just to try turning the air conditioner on, which should have been switched on from the start. It's a shame as I have heard good things about the food but failed to deliver this time. The good things I have experienced are the staff are friendly, food is quick and the place looks amazing, some might say style over substance.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere. The decor is tasteful and evokes the rich cultural heritage of the Bosphorus region, setting the perfect tone for the meal to come. The highlight of my visit was, without a doubt, the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and expertly prepared. I started with the mezze platter, which was a delightful assortment of traditional appetizers, each more delicious than the last. The hummus was creamy and flavorful, and the baba ganoush had a wonderful smoky taste. For the main course, I opted for the chicken shish, which was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. Loved the place! It's decorated in a Turkish over the top style! The food is cooked in and open kitchen and the delishious food smells greet you as you enter the establishment. The staff are super nice The service super quick.and the food is fantastic. It's quite pricy but this is real hood quality food that's carefully cooked. Would go back in a heart beat!

I visited this restaurant on 21/05 and was absolutely blown away by the experience. Firstly, the staff, wow, all so friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout the visit. They gave us recommendations based on our taste preferences which were appreciated and always ensured we had everything we needed. The starters we had were glorious and full of flavour, my personal favourites were the bread and creamy mushrooms and made me so excited for the mains, which were phenomenal! The mixed shish is to die for, moist well-seasoned meat, fluffy flavoursome rice and a fresh salad to accompany. I honestly didn’t think it could get any better.. until the baklava came out. Wow wow wow, best I’ve ever had! Fresh, flavourful and all round sweet sticky perfection. The whole experience was amazing and I cannot wait to visit again! Thank you for a great evening!

Visited for the fiorst time on 25th May 24. Impressed with the service as well as the authentic food with quality lamb and chicken cuts. A good choice menu to choose from and very efficient service without it being overbearing. Loved the place

Amazing restaurant! The staff couldn’t be more friendly they are amazing! The food is incredible, the Turkish salad is sensational lots of chopped up vegetables together with a pomegranate dressing😍 and the chicken Shiah is to die for! One of my favourite restaurants in Bicester hands down!

We were five people on tuesday and Never go to this place again. Wherever you go in turkish restaurant you never have to pay for Turkish tea. I am very disappointed as soon as I realised that i was charged for 6 turkish tea.

Came as a party of 5, staff were attentive and welcoming, food was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Lot’s of choice and something for everyone. The bread to start was out of this world. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a lovely meal :)

The best place to eat in Bicester, by a million miles. I eat here 2 or 3 times a week. They have the best staff always smiling, always courteous. What I love about eating here or taking food home is that they are so prompt! Never waste a minute. 5 star full recommendation.

The food was not worth the price a little expensive for what you get the service was good

From the decor, to the service, to the food...everything was spot on. We have a 6 week old baby and the staff took care of us so much, making extra room for us and taking care of our needs with the baby. The food was absolutely amazing, the bread they offer before the meal starts is spot on; it's not just regular turkish bread you'd find at other restaurants, the guys here toast the bread with spices and a really nice sauce giving the bread a lovely crisp and seasoned flavour on the outside whilst still being soft and light on the inside. The lamb beyti was flavoured really well, the tomato based sauce added a lovely zing that complimented the lamb well. All in all, a very wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to all.

We were seated next to the bar, surrounded by 5 waiters who were looking at us while eating. The lady at the bar was watching our every bite. More traffic behind us and around us than on the M25 in the afternoon. Desserts don't look like the pictures in the menu. Small selection of traditional Turkish food, small spaces between tables. I have asked if we can be seated upstairs, and the answer was no even though the upper area was in use. I would not recommend this place, we could not relax especially because our every move was watched

Amazing food, we’re visiting Bicester Village next door and decided to come here for a bite. All 4 of us were really happy with our choices! Portions are quite generous.

This has become one of my favourite restaurants. Amazing food cooked to perfection every time and the staff are great make you feel like you are part of the family. Only one annoying thing they won't give me their secret recipe for their chilli sauce but always give me a few pots to take home so I can't complain. We usually get the sharing platter for two where you get a bit of everything and is more than you need so alway get some to take home and enjoy the next day, well worth the price. Also a huge fan of their salad with pomegranates in and has made me use pomegranates in my salads at home.

Great service and excellent food. The quality of the meat is what makes this place stand out- plenty of space and the music isn’t too loud like some other Turkish places where you can’t hear yourself think. Price is a bit over the norm for the location however.

We were not greeted very politely, and with all appearances we pretended that we needed to leave. I was in the establishment from 21:30 to 22:30. They never gave me tea. The actual restaurant closes at 22:00. Usually Turkish restaurants around the world have a friendly atmosphere, but this establishment is an exception. The restaurant is empty, I asked to sit at a table by the window, they made me sit near the kitchen, I attached a photo.

This is the place to go for quality food. I went tonight and the food portions were huge in fact could probs do with half. The best service i have recieved in years. Not once was i bothered unless i asked for something.

Food was nice - Cost like 80 quid for two mains, a starter, two deserts and non alcoholic drinks. Service was a bit slower than j would have expected with amount of staff working.

Hosted my baby shower here because I love the food . But the hospitality by Nick and his team just blew my mind today!!!! I had nearly 40 guests. Nick planned the whole evening suggested the plates that were loved by my guests and made it a huge success. He is a 🌟 star. I recently dined at "Bosphorus," a Turkish restaurant with a promising ambiance that unfortunately did not translate to the quality of the meal I experienced. The main course of my meal was fish, which I had anticipated would be a succulent and flavorful delight, given the coastal influences of Turkish cuisine. However, my expectations were met with disappointment. The fish served to me was distressingly dry, to the point where it seemed as though it might have been reheated from the day before. In an attempt to salvage my meal, I requested some olive oil, hoping that a drizzle might restore some moisture and richness to the dish. Regrettably, even this was a letdown; the quality of the olive oil provided was so poor that I found it unusable. Despite being served two skewers of fish, I managed only to eat one due to its unpalatable dryness and left the other untouched on my plate. It is with regret that I must advise against dining at this establishment based on my experience. The food did not live up to either traditional Turkish standards or basic culinary expectations. In conclusion, "Bosphorus" failed to deliver an enjoyable dining experience and I cannot recommend it. It is safe to say that I will not be returning for another visit.

Service was good, food was good. Music is upbeat. Dessert was amazing! They saved our evening after we were let down by another restaurant down the road. Reasonable Price too! Will definitely return!
