Best Turkish food I’ve ever had in the UK, top class service by all the staff! We are regular visitors to Bicester outlets and this is an ideal place for an evening meal. Thank you!

I had an absolutely delightful experience at The Bosphorus Restaurant! The dish I ordered was an explosion of flavors – every bite was a perfect balance of spices, freshness, and rich taste. The presentation was beautiful, and the food was cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's incredible skill. The ambiance added to the experience, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who ensured everything was just right. This was by far one of the best meals I've had in a long time, and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. A true gem for lovers of authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine!

Wife and I came here for dinner after visiting Bicester village and was recommended by a colleague. This restaurant felt like one of the restaurants you visit when you’re abroad that’s a “tourist” restaurant, with fancy decor, good food but also overpriced. I can’t comment on how the pricing of the restaurant compares to similar restaurants in the area, but as a Londoner, this restaurant is just as expensive as central London!! I ordered the mixed grill and my wife ordered the chicken beyti with hummus as starters. First basket of bread is free, subsequent baskets are £4 each. Overall food was very fresh and tasted lovely, however a real shame about the portion sizes. If I’m paying a high price, I’d expect slightly bigger portion sizes. Even the couple next to us said the same thing to one of the servers. My wife’s passion fruit mocktail was mostly a mojito with little to no passion fruit flavour. Service was good, promptly seated and order was promptly taken. We came around 5pm so the restaurant was empty. Decor was ok, but personally, felt very touristy. Overall, If you’re in the area after shopping at Bicester village shopping outlet and want good food, then come here. But if you’re coming in a big group, be prepared to spend the savings you made at Bicester village, here!!

Has to be the best turkish meal I've had. The turkish bread was really good and different to the ones from other turkish places. Definitely recommend and will definitely visit again.

Ordered the Adana it was delicious! Service was quick, atmosphere is really nice and relaxed. Definitely recommend coming here. Didn’t have a reservation but it was fine, we were given a table straight away.

Amazing service, amazing atmosphere, amazing food. Classic Turkish music playing, and halal menu. Great for families, couples, or for a quick bite for one. Will be revisiting Insha’Allah.

Have visited several times since discovering this little gem. Usually have an adana, which is delicious, but decided to try the lamb chops. Absolutely delicious. Everything about this place is just superb.

Few minutes walk from main Bicester Village. The lamb beyti is a must try for around £20, really good portion size. All meat was cooked perfectly on the mixed grill platter. Would love to visit again!

one of the worst Turkish meals iv had in a long time, ordered a bosphorus special mixed kabab ( should be the star of the show after naming it after the restaurant and a place in turkey)received 2 small cubes of chicken and 2 small fatty cubes of lamb , then 5 lamb chops but more like pieces of bone covered in fat , the salad supplied was the ready made stuff purchased in bags with the grated carrot nothing fresh, the kofta tasted plain not allot of taste , fresh Turkish bread supplied on the table was lacking 4 small pieces and waffer thin ,,this cost me £35 with a bottle of water, this is the 2nd time iv tried there food and on both occasions food has been the same

Lamb too much fat on, the Bosporus special is literally 2 cubes of chicken, 2 of lamb and a couple pork chops. Highly overpriced for very little food. Went next door to the Chinese restaurant to fill my empty belly. Bosphorus are way too stingy.

An amazing restaurant with good food and great hospitality. Niko and his staff are very accommodating and always gives excellent service! Even when we ask for extras or change in items, there's never been an issue and the staff are always here to help. Really great place for dinner and work parties

I’ve been served so well. The guys used manners and also made me laugh with jokes. They were so professional and friendly at the same time. The food was plated amazingly and tasted delicious I literally took it home w me when I was full. Would definitely recommend

The best Turkish food in town! The quality has always been consistent and the service is prompt and friendly. The manager Nick has always welcomed and looked after us each time we visit. Over the years, we have brought many friends and family here! Everybody loves the food. Ps: the grilled flatbread and garlic/chilli sauces are the icing on the cake!

Absolutely brilliant dining experience here. Just finished shopping from Bicester. If you’re hungry *READ THIS* Walked in and sat at a table immediately, the staff were friendly, attentive and great hosts. Could clearly see that they’re proud to work here. Food Everything was cooked to perfection, meat flavourful, juicy and tender. Rice and salad was also seasoned so well, full of flavour. Salad had a sweet sauce drizzled ontop which was fantastic. Everything was made in house and tasted so fresh, I was a massive fan of their tomato dip! Even took some home. Baklava was not overly sweet, pastry flaky and fresh, very light. Filling was full and nutty, would like more pistachio flavour (preference) but overall one of the better I’ve tasted. Houmous and lamb was amazing for a starter, I was impressed straight away! Portion I’m currently bulking lol this was plenty of food for one person, meat was given generously with no skimping anywhere. Service Top notch, we weren’t waiting at any point to order, our empty plates picked up soon, “how is the food?”…deserts options given. This wasn’t rushed either they gave ample time between meals to attend to us. No long periods of waiting. For starters we’d 100% recommend the lamb houmous. Mains - I had the mix grill, my partner had chicken and lamb skewers. Desert - Please go for the baklava and ice cream. Not too sweet, just right 1 starter 2 mains 1 desert 1 coffee 1 coke Total was £80 with inc service charge which i was more than happy to pay. Like to give a mention to Nick who looked after us really well 👍

King prawns are not king prawns rather from a packet from Tesco. The chips were stale had to ask for sauces numerous times and food took about an hour to come the food was horrible and I highly don’t recommend it taste like medicine

Went here for my brothers 50th birthday party. please note you have to pay a deposit of £10 each head for a Saturday booking. Remember to ask for it back. Was lovely venue, I believe we should have been sat upstairs separate as we was a very large and loud party, place was very large food was amazing cannot fault that all. Service was a little slow but was so many of us but worth wait, presentation, and generous portions. He had an amazing birthday, thank you. The only issue was some waiters talking bad bout us thinking we don't understand. You underestimated some black people do speak different languages!,,. in future be VERY careful. Others might of delt with it differently. We spent a lot of money and was very polite and respectful, so expected same back. Even left a large tip. Yes we were loud as a large group, but you chose to sit us in that location you had options. With such a large venue.

I visited this restaurant a few months ago during a shopping trip to Bicester Village, but unfortunately, it fell far below expectations. The prices were shockingly higher than central London, which was a major disappointment. The mojito was more ice than drink—barely two sips—and lacked any real flavor. The chicken was bland, and the chops were tough and chewy. The only redeeming parts of the meal were the bread and the bulga rice. The biggest shock came with the bill: £150 for three people dining at lunchtime. For the quality of food we received, it felt like a complete waste of money.

Staff on their phones, service was okay but not warm or welcoming, had to wait to call the waiter over as they were on their phones despite them not having many customers - food was not the greatest - Many other Turkish resturaunts have better service and food, portions were good except for the complimentary bread which wasn't hot and there wasn't much of the bread - interior is nice and with better management and food this place can be really nice. At present, we won't be going back

Came to Bosphorus tonight for dinner with the family and was absolutely delighted. The atmosphere is clean and beautiful. The food delicious. I had the Adana Kebabs which were delicious. The rice is the best I've had. The salad was refreshing and well prepared. The kids enjoyed their meal as well as my husband. We had dessert ( coconut ice cream) it came in fun coconuts. I highly recommend stopping by for dinner, you won't be disappointed.

Great service from staff! Meat cooked beautifully however all very much average, nothing extra special for the prices charged. £6.95 (or something similar) for mocktails, I kid you not I got around 5 sips out of it. I would recommend getting a soft drink instead. Lovely atmosphere. Just not worth the money in my opinion. Complimentary bread and dips were DELICIOUS. Picture of mocktail to show how much ice, mint, fruit and lime there was. That’s after I finished my 5 sips😓

Here is a true gem for anyone seeking authentic Turkish cuisine. We had the Adana kebab and Beyti, and both dishes were incredibly delicious—full of flavor and expertly prepared. Having traveled to many countries, I can confidently say this is one of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve experienced in Europe. The staff was warm and friendly, always ready to assist and ensure we had a great dining experience. If you’re driving, there are plenty of parking options nearby, making it convenient to visit. If you’re in Bicester and craving amazing Turkish food, Bosphorus is an absolute must-visit!

Lack of service, I still paid the service charge. Asked for Turkish tea first time - not ready Asked for Turkey tea second time after 2 hours - no cups. Waiter showed a lot of attitude, patronising whilst I asked about menu items - lack of interest to take our order. No service to our table for us to buy extra drinks, waited for 1 hour. Overpriced for the overall experience. 3 people = £100.

A very nice authentic experience. The food is well presented and is full of flavours. Service is fast but laid back !! The dining is comfortable and spacious. I had the bosphorus mixed grill it was lovely. Highly recommended and I will be making this a regular place to eat great food. It's an authentic Turkish / Mediterranean restaurant 10/10 ❤️

Food good and generous for the price. Service was not the best by a few members of staff but other members were pleasant. Went as spouse enjoys huge portions of meat and this is exactly what was given. Would try again.

Food was divine! First and foremost, I was told by a friend that this place served bread that was out of this world. The way he described it, we just had to try it! I can tell you now, the 1.5 hour drive from Birmingham did not disappoint. We honestly devoured this bread. Now if the free bread is this good, just imagine the rest of the food? Octopus starter was so good that even those reluctant to try it eventually ate it and loved it. Every item on the mixed grill platter was so tender and so full of flavour. We ordered it with their fluffy mashed potato which complimented the meat so well. I’m a very picky eater and it’s not often that I find hidden gems like this one. The service was also wonderful! The owner was an absolute character and made us feel so welcome, even whilst they had a full house. 100% recommend!

Nice restaurant, food ok but prices quite high compared to the other Turkish restaurants that I visit in north London green lanes, traditionally the Turkish tea and bread is free of charge, but was charged for bread and didn't have the Turkish tea as it was £1.95 per cup usually you get is complimentary everywhere you go to a Turkish restaurant in UK or Europe.

When we arrived there they welcomed us with a warm welcome. The food was juicy and delicious as it should be. Also the service was perfect and very fast. I definitely recommend it. If it is your first time going, you should try mix grill. Thank you Bosphorus team.

Absolutely delicious! Best Turkish food I've ever had! There is nothing like this in Birmingham! (Where I live). I took my wife to Bicester Village and on our way home we stopped here to eat in. The atmosphere was lovely and cosy, the service was brilliant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food! - bloody delicious! The meat and chicken was tender and 10/10 on the flavours! I loved the flavour of the bulgur rice, I've never tasted anything like it. That's coming from someone who goes to Turkey 3 to 4 times a year for a holiday! Brilliant restaurant, do not hesitate to visit.

Fantastic experience from walking in to leaving. The team couldn’t do enough for us and we’re proud to recommend dishes as we were not too sure what to order. The expresso martini was delicious as was all the food. Lamb is a specialty and not tough like every other restaurant. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough, you won’t be disappointed!

Really good. Can't fault it. Every element of the food was spot on, and that's rare these days. Nice decor. Great background music. Was a bit bright until they dimmed the lights later on but I'm nit picking !! Great service too from a nice chap who was the spitting image of George Michael (added bonus). Would definitely go back again. Even the desserts were spot on !!!

The food, it was simply fantastic! We started with a variety of their hot and cold mezes, which were fresh and full of flavor. Each dish was a perfect balance of textures and tastes. For the main course, we had the mixed grill, which was just as delicious—tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Not mentioning their baklava would be a crime, I think they are importing it directly from heaven! The ambience was warm and inviting, with a comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The background music was just right—not too loud—allowing us to enjoy our conversation without any interruptions. The service was excellent, and I must give a special mention to Nick, who was exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout the meal. He made sure we had everything we needed and added a personal touch to our dining experience.

The restaurant was pretty lovely and seating was nice, however we ordered a platter which was £114 and some of the meat tasted a bit odd but the rest of the food was quite good and the one who waited our table was polite

We had a lovely lunch on a busy Saturday. We had the salmon and a lamb shish and both were perfectly cooked and the portions are great value for money. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for any occasion. Will definitely be returning.

The service was very fast and attentive, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant, with its new decoration and concept, offers an environment where very successful families can dine. The meat is very delicious and I recommend the mixed kebab, the salad on the side is perfect, the seafood is delicious as a hot appetizer, you can order the mixed appetizer plate as a starter.
