Staff on their phones, service was okay but not warm or welcoming, had to wait to call the waiter over as they were on their phones despite them not having many customers - food was not the greatest - Many other Turkish resturaunts have better service and food, portions were good except for the complimentary bread which wasn't hot and there wasn't much of the bread - interior is nice and with better management and food this place can be really nice. At present, we won't be going back

Came to Bosphorus tonight for dinner with the family and was absolutely delighted. The atmosphere is clean and beautiful. The food delicious. I had the Adana Kebabs which were delicious. The rice is the best I've had. The salad was refreshing and well prepared. The kids enjoyed their meal as well as my husband. We had dessert ( coconut ice cream) it came in fun coconuts. I highly recommend stopping by for dinner, you won't be disappointed.

Great service from staff! Meat cooked beautifully however all very much average, nothing extra special for the prices charged. £6.95 (or something similar) for mocktails, I kid you not I got around 5 sips out of it. I would recommend getting a soft drink instead. Lovely atmosphere. Just not worth the money in my opinion. Complimentary bread and dips were DELICIOUS. Picture of mocktail to show how much ice, mint, fruit and lime there was. That’s after I finished my 5 sips😓

Here is a true gem for anyone seeking authentic Turkish cuisine. We had the Adana kebab and Beyti, and both dishes were incredibly delicious—full of flavor and expertly prepared. Having traveled to many countries, I can confidently say this is one of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve experienced in Europe. The staff was warm and friendly, always ready to assist and ensure we had a great dining experience. If you’re driving, there are plenty of parking options nearby, making it convenient to visit. If you’re in Bicester and craving amazing Turkish food, Bosphorus is an absolute must-visit!

We really enjoyed the Lamb Shank and my wife had the Veggie Mousakka. Staff were friendly and helpful with great service. Definitely recommend a visit

A very nice authentic experience. The food is well presented and is full of flavours. Service is fast but laid back !! The dining is comfortable and spacious. Lack of service, I still paid the service charge. Asked for Turkish tea first time - not ready Asked for Turkey tea second time after 2 hours - no cups. Waiter showed a lot of attitude, patronising whilst I asked about menu items - lack of interest to take our order. No service to our table for us to buy extra drinks, waited for 1 hour. Overpriced for the overall experience. 3 people = £100.

Food good and generous for the price. Service was not the best by a few members of staff but other members were pleasant. Went as spouse enjoys huge portions of meat and this is exactly what was given. Would try again.

Food was divine! First and foremost, I was told by a friend that this place served bread that was out of this world. The way he described it, we just had to try it! I can tell you now, the 1.5 hour drive from Birmingham did not disappoint. We honestly devoured this bread. Now if the free bread is this good, just imagine the rest of the food? Octopus starter was so good that even those reluctant to try it eventually ate it and loved it. Every item on the mixed grill platter was so tender and so full of flavour. We ordered it with their fluffy mashed potato which complimented the meat so well. I’m a very picky eater and it’s not often that I find hidden gems like this one. The service was also wonderful! The owner was an absolute character and made us feel so welcome, even whilst they had a full house. 100% recommend!

When we arrived there they welcomed us with a warm welcome. The food was juicy and delicious as it should be. Also the service was perfect and very fast. I definitely recommend it. If it is your first time going, you should try mix grill. Thank you Bosphorus team.

Nice restaurant, food ok but prices quite high compared to the other Turkish restaurants that I visit in north London green lanes, traditionally the Turkish tea and bread is free of charge, but was charged for bread and didn't have the Turkish tea as it was £1.95 per cup usually you get is complimentary everywhere you go to a Turkish restaurant in UK or Europe.

All dishes were great, especially the chicken beyti. The employee with the batman tattoo was very polite, thank you.

Absolutely delicious! Best Turkish food I've ever had! There is nothing like this in Birmingham! (Where I live). I took my wife to Bicester Village and on our way home we stopped here to eat in. The atmosphere was lovely and cosy, the service was brilliant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food! - bloody delicious! The meat and chicken was tender and 10/10 on the flavours! I loved the flavour of the bulgur rice, I've never tasted anything like it. That's coming from someone who goes to Turkey 3 to 4 times a year for a holiday! Brilliant restaurant, do not hesitate to visit.

Fantastic experience from walking in to leaving. The team couldn’t do enough for us and we’re proud to recommend dishes as we were not too sure what to order. The expresso martini was delicious as was all the food. Lamb is a specialty and not tough like every other restaurant. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough, you won’t be disappointed!

Really good. Can't fault it. Every element of the food was spot on, and that's rare these days. Nice decor. Great background music. Was a bit bright until they dimmed the lights later on but I'm nit picking !! Great service too from a nice chap who was the spitting image of George Michael (added bonus). Would definitely go back again. Even the desserts were spot on !!!

The food, it was simply fantastic! We started with a variety of their hot and cold mezes, which were fresh and full of flavor. Each dish was a perfect balance of textures and tastes. For the main course, we had the mixed grill, which was just as delicious—tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Not mentioning their baklava would be a crime, I think they are importing it directly from heaven! The ambience was warm and inviting, with a comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The background music was just right—not too loud—allowing us to enjoy our conversation without any interruptions. The service was excellent, and I must give a special mention to Nick, who was exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout the meal. He made sure we had everything we needed and added a personal touch to our dining experience.

The restaurant was pretty lovely and seating was nice, however we ordered a platter which was £114 and some of the meat tasted a bit odd but the rest of the food was quite good and the one who waited our table was polite

The service was very fast and attentive, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant, with its new decoration and concept, offers an environment where very successful families can dine. The meat is very delicious and I recommend the mixed kebab, the salad on the side is perfect, the seafood is delicious as a hot appetizer, you can order the mixed appetizer plate as a starter.

We had a lovely lunch on a busy Saturday. We had the salmon and a lamb shish and both were perfectly cooked and the portions are great value for money. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for any occasion. Will definitely be returning.

We took a chance dining here because usually my husband does not like Mediterranean food much. It was my birthday…so my choice! The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious! My husband actually loved it! And so did my children. To the point they want us to return with all the family for her 13th birthday! Thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening.

Unfortunately, nothing special to be honest. Sharing platter for two £60 - chicken wings - smoky and that's it, bland. Lamb chops were chewy and tasteless. Same story with the ribs, not a lot of meat on them, chewy and tasteless. Koftas were dry, and aparat from being spicy, not much flavour. Various chicken bits were the best. Also, complimentary Turkish bread with dips was nice. Rice was interesting, unique taste.Salad was fresh. Customer service was fine. Overall, not a good value for money.

Tasty food cooked to perfection. I ordered chicken livers for starter which is one dish that has to be cooked exactly right. They didn't disappoint - they were perfect. My parter had calamari which was also cooked very well. For the main, my partner has the mince lamb moussaka, and me being a bit greedy ordered the mixed grill. Both were exceptional. Everything was served quickly and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If I were going to complain about anything it would be the price for a bottle of sparkling water, and (a bugbear of mine) not mentioning the service charge on the menu. I would definitely return.

The almosphere was ok, the music was way to loud expecially when it was someone's birthday it's ear blowing. The food was mediocre, the fish was not seasoned at all, the chicken and lamb was tender but missing alot of flavour, lamb chops ok, adana was chewy, rice lacked flavour and the halloumi fries deffinetly shop bought frozen. One of the waiters kept coming up to our table invading our space just to try turning the air conditioner on, which should have been switched on from the start. It's a shame as I have heard good things about the food but failed to deliver this time. The good things I have experienced are the staff are friendly, food is quick and the place looks amazing, some might say style over substance.

The hummus was creamy and flavorful, and the baba ganoush had a wonderful smoky taste. For the main course, I opted for the chicken shish, which was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. Loved the place! It's decorated in a Turkish over the top style! The food is cooked in and open kitchen and the delishious food smells greet you as you enter the establishment. The staff are super nice The service super quick.and the food is fantastic. It's quite pricy but this is real hood quality food that's carefully cooked. Would go back in a heart beat!

I visited this restaurant on 21/05 and was absolutely blown away by the experience. Firstly, the staff, wow, all so friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout the visit. They gave us recommendations based on our taste preferences which were appreciated and always ensured we had everything we needed. The starters we had were glorious and full of flavour, my personal favourites were the bread and creamy mushrooms and made me so excited for the mains, which were phenomenal! The mixed shish is to die for, moist well-seasoned meat, fluffy flavoursome rice and a fresh salad to accompany. I honestly didn’t think it could get any better.. until the baklava came out. Wow wow wow, best I’ve ever had! Fresh, flavourful and all round sweet sticky perfection. The whole experience was amazing and I cannot wait to visit again! Thank you for a great evening!

Amazing restaurant! The staff couldn’t be more friendly they are amazing! The food is incredible, the Turkish salad is sensational lots of chopped up vegetables together with a pomegranate dressing😍 and the chicken Shiah is to die for! One of my favourite restaurants in Bicester hands down!

The best place to eat in Bicester, by a million miles. I eat here 2 or 3 times a week. They have the best staff always smiling, always courteous. What I love about eating here or taking food home is that they are so prompt! Never waste a minute. 5 star full recommendation.

We were five people on tuesday and Never go to this place again. Wherever you go in turkish restaurant you never have to pay for Turkish tea. I am very disappointed as soon as I realised that i was charged for 6 turkish tea.

From the decor, to the service, to the food...everything was spot on. We have a 6 week old baby and the staff took care of us so much, making extra room for us and taking care of our needs with the baby. The food was absolutely amazing, the bread they offer before the meal starts is spot on; it's not just regular turkish bread you'd find at other restaurants, the guys here toast the bread with spices and a really nice sauce giving the bread a lovely crisp and seasoned flavour on the outside whilst still being soft and light on the inside. The lamb beyti was flavoured really well, the tomato based sauce added a lovely zing that complimented the lamb well. All in all, a very wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to all.

Amazing food, we’re visiting Bicester Village next door and decided to come here for a bite. All 4 of us were really happy with our choices! Portions are quite generous.

We were seated next to the bar, surrounded by 5 waiters who were looking at us while eating. The lady at the bar was watching our every bite. More traffic behind us and around us than on the M25 in the afternoon. Desserts don't look like the pictures in the menu. Small selection of traditional Turkish food, small spaces between tables. I have asked if we can be seated upstairs, and the answer was no even though the upper area was in use. I would not recommend this place, we could not relax especially because our every move was watched

This has become one of my favourite restaurants. Amazing food cooked to perfection every time and the staff are great make you feel like you are part of the family. Only one annoying thing they won't give me their secret recipe for their chilli sauce but always give me a few pots to take home so I can't complain. We usually get the sharing platter for two where you get a bit of everything and is more than you need so alway get some to take home and enjoy the next day, well worth the price. Also a huge fan of their salad with pomegranates in and has made me use pomegranates in my salads at home.
