The cafe is now open was closed for a while for refurbishment we particularly like the sandwiches which are served with crisps and coleslaw. We usually get a bowl of chips to share and its quite filling. Its also set amongst the plants and covers a large area so you're not squashed together. Lets hope it stops like that. The hot chocolate lets it down though

We came here for lunch with my mum in a wheelchair. It was easy for us to find a table. We had a wonderful lunch and would recommend to anyone to try this place out.

Arrived within the serving time for breakfast as advertised on Google. We were told breakfast stopped at 11.15 not 11.30. Change your Google advertising it’s a simple thing to do. Table was filthy, see photo. Coffee was luke warm, but didn’t want to get another as the queue was almost the length of the restaurant. I run a small business and have 180+ reviews on Trustpilot in the last 2 years, all of them 5 star. It’s not difficult it’s just hard work and caring about your customers. 30 minutes and still waiting for sandwiches. It’s worth the 3.5 Google review it has, in fact that may be a little generous.

I would give this 0 stars if possible! Went for breakfast. Ordered 2 bacon and sausage sandwiches with no fat and a toasted teacake. the sandwiches came with bacon and a ridiculous amount of fat on them and only 1 sausage. The toasted teacake was for our little boy who couldn't eat it as it was that hard you could bang it on the table. I brought it to the attention of the young girl who cleared the table (very miserably) and all I got was "OK I'll tell them" no apology at all! Complete waste of £23!!!!!

An excellent carvery, and an excellent atmosphere but unfortunately a very slow service, the lady couldn't cut the meat properly and ques were building up very fast. A 100% thankyou to the chef that came to the rescue to help her and whizzed us all through so we could enjoy our lovely meal. Normally our service review is a 5 ⭐️ review but unfortunately not today 😡

I had a very nice lamb pie, chips, peas and gravy. Then went shopping and then back to the restaurant for cream scone and a cuppa. Ps. You could feed a family on one scone, they are so big.

No main meals being served today, we were told because the chef is too busy. Last time we visited they'd run out of food. Ended up with over done food which matches the burnt scones they serve. We're regulars but won't be visiting for food again.

Had a late lunch here today. Was going to have a Markham Burger, unfortunately they had sold out. They are very popular. I had a ploughman's lunch instead. Ham, 4 thick cut slices [proper Ham] 3 different cheeses, half a black pudding Scotch egg, some lovely crusty bread. There should have been some Pork Pie, however this was substituted with a piece of Sausage Roll. Some Chorizo, pickled onions, beetroot and some salad. We had been waiting a bit, not an excessive amount of time and one of the staff came to ask if we would like a free drink or piece of cake as way of apology for having to wait. They were very busy, at first we refused but he insisted we had something, he said you can take it home. I had a pasty which he brought me in a take out box. My wife had a Salmon dish that was really nice, well presented and great value. We have eaten here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. The staff are great. Highly recommended

Food ok. Tea ok. Bit expensive 😕. Problem was it was raining outside and there were numerous drips over the table area etc. Will go again but probably not when it's raining 😕

This is the 2nd time I have started queuing around 11.05 for breakfast which is until 11.30 to eventually get to the till at 11.25 to be told they stopped serving breakfast at 11.15!!!. Why not warn those in the slow moving queue that breakfast is finishing earlier than advertised. I ended up queuing 25 mins for a coffee which I had mostly drunk before paying.

Had breakfast on Sunday morning around 10.30 firstly poor service long wait for the worst breakfast I have ever had put in front of me I can only think the long wait was because the food was cold and an item missing poor quality for £7.49 utter rubbish, have the staff given up.

We had a long wait for food but I don't find that a problem because it's usually fresh when served. I didn't feel it necessary to have a live singer in there, we couldn't chat while waiting for our food because the singer was too loud, background music would have been adequate.

Set inside Markham Grange Garden Centre it has lovely seating arranged amongst the plants in a Greenhouse. A lovely atmosphere. Sometimes they have singers and you could imagine your in a old style tea room. The food is typical cafe but well presented. Very friendly and staff the prices reasonable

Lovely location. The seating area is lovely and the music is really good. The breakfast was awful. Obviously pre cooked, nothing was freshly cooked. The fried egg was rock hard, the hashbrown was crispy and greasy, the sausages were raw, the bacon was half raw and half rock solid. Tomatoes were greasy and the toast was soggy. Beans were nice ...... Not very hot and very disappointing. Would not recommend a breakfast here, which is a great shame as the location was very nice.

The Boiler House Resturant is situated in Markham garden centre. Styled like a retro school kind of theme offering breakfasts , sandwiches, cakes, jacket potatoes with various fillings. I had the cheese mixed in baked beans. All the food was very reasonably priced and good sized portions. Nice atmosphere quite a large place with a cosy corner with sofas and a tv. To find it you need to walk through the whole garden centre to almost to the exit doors.

Well my family ordered some mozzarella because it was new like 1 year ago. We found a place because I live close to the shop because we didn’t what to keep going to Pizza Hut because it was too long so I found this place called Mozzarella first thing I tried was the burger the burger it was so good aswell with the pizza I loved the pizza same with the chips. The chips they had paprika on them which my brother really liked them. They had great service. The atmosphere of the place is good.In 2023 they closed down the shop for some reason i fault they was just taking a break but I waiting for it to come back 3 months later I go to check if it was going to open. But I think the shop has closed down entirely and now my whole family where very sad because Mozzarella was like one of our best Restaurants I don’t think they will be coming back any time soon.

Everything is overpriced and poor/average quality and I mean everything. Ales are not kept well and wines etc are bought via their sister site (Shire Stores), food isn't great but expensive and they've gone through chefs like a knife through butter ! I wasn't there but my friend was in recently when the little lad (aka Bar Manager) refused to serve 2 customers at 10.50pm, at which point another customer offered to buy them a drink only to be told by the manager that they would be barred if they bought them drinks - wow, how to treat your customers. On the hygiene front, they made a massive thing out of finally getting a 5 star rating after the recent and well documented rat issues which is fair enough. However, the gents still stinks horrendous and of course the rat issue occurred when they previously had 5 stars - so much for the ratings. Previous employees and suppliers are still owed £1000's I keep popping in but there's no sign of things getting any better
