Only had coffee, it was very noisy, unfortunately due to acoustic. Food looked quite expensive, but it did look nice.

Moving to Uphill inthe next few months. Tried the cafe whilst house viewing and was so impressed how friendly the staff were. Food was great as was the service. Brought our dog on 2nd visit who was made very welcome. He enjoyed the sausage from the dog menu. Great atmosphere and I'm sure once we have moved, it will be our regular stop on our dog walks with Marvin.

Stopped for lunch with my son after a long walk around the area. Beautiful food, great service and really reasonably priced.

Visiting with family for Christmas from Cumbria, what a Brilliant cafè. Wish there was one like this in Sedbergh Cumbria. Great atmosphere, our meals were delicious, very well presented, generous portions. Great choice of drinks, excellent atmosphere, dog friendly in part of the cafè, which I thought is a great idea, keeps everyone happy. Oh Yes!!!!!! Good choice of cakes. Parking nearby. Plus a good walking area. Would definitely recommend a visit, we would love to visit again.

Went on a Saturday at 11am to meet some old work colleagues that I had last worked with over 30 years ago. We managed to book a table as one of the colleagues now works at The Boathouse. Returned again today (14th Dec) Had a latte and a pecan and walnut chocolate flapjack, absolutely outstanding. Thick chocolate and a very generous slice. Wife had an Americano and a dark chocolate and coconut flapjack. Again fantastic, lovely staff, great place 💯 Will be back again 😍 It quickly became very busy which wasn't surprising. Staff were friendly and efficient and brought the orders to the table. Great atmosphere, lovely place and obviously very popular. We only had coffee but it was very nice, no complaints.

Me & my dad visit every week. The staff are so friendly & the cafe/restaurant has a lush community vibe! Deffo worth visiting/making your go to bistro cafe :) dog friendly too.

A great place to stop when cycling on the newly created cycle way. Coffee was excellent and so was the food selection, didn't have the breakfast but I saw it and looked good. I will definitely be returning, a great stop on the way to do the pier to pier cycle route.

This cafe is simple brilliant. After ordering your drinks are delivered to your table in a minute or two. Your order follows in a couple of minutes. Ok we only had brunch but it was prepared to perfection. Staff are efficient and friendly, we aim to be more regular customers.

Arrived just before midday, busy but tables to choose from. Had the full English & a vegan breakfast, and were very naughty and had a scrumptious cake for 'afters'. Seating outside too and dog-friendly indoors & outdoors.

Love this place. It's a dog walkers paradise. Great food, lots of choice of drinks. lovely staff, ice creams, doggie treats and fresh water always available after a walk along the beach or reserve. Always get a lovely welcome. Highly recommend!

Lovely little cafe, has used for years. Great cooked breakfast Lovely range of coffees and teas Lovely range of fresh bakes and cakes and new options regularly. Often quite busy. Can park close by but only a few spaces.

We went in for lunch after our Nordic Walking group finished our walk. What a pleasant surprise. Tired We were.but the welcome from staff and the way they served us was just amazing. I ordered a Tuna Mayo jacket potato and so much filling given that had a problem looking for the potato inside. Best food and service. Not many cafes like this one left. Keep up the good work.

Dog friendly, really nice food and lots of it! It really is a good find in W-S-M. Staff very attentive, prices good imo. Only minor point was no cones for their delicious homemade ice cream, which they show on their website but only supply cartons, hey ho, no big deal. Will defo recommend and return. It is really done well in a clean friendly environment. Would give 4.5/ 5 to be fair.😁

Amazing place dog friendly though there is seating available where no dogs are allowed all well controlled and organised the service is amazing staff quick and friendly we ate here for breakfast twice over the weekend and would highly recommend it. Lovely staff Lovely food lovely setting ❤️

Got busy very quickly after10.30

Stop here on our long distance mtb cycling routes when in the area and it's never failed to supply great service and food. It's a permanent marker for us now on our gps devices. Keep up the good work 😍

We came here yesterday & it was a lovely place. We sat outside as it was decent weather. Took my son’s dog along to the beach which she loved. Came back & had lunch. It was served very quickly with large portions & pleasant staff. We hope to be able to come back again.

Fantastic dog friendly restaurant with lots of ‘hearty favourite’ foods We had the fish finger sandwich and burger, both delicious, and great for those who like a medium rare burger like us Options for cakes, but also the choice to sit outside and enjoy under the sun Definitely be visiting again! Very clean and welcoming place!

This is the 3rd time we've been to The Boathouse and it doesn't disappoint! Menu changes to reflect the seasons, but keeping some of the core favourites. My other half had huge ham egg (s!) and chips and I went for a more summery grilled goats cheese salad - very tasty, although if I was being picky could have benefitted from a bit more dressing. Service was super-quick, despite being busy and very friendly. I didn't have space for a cake, which was a shame as they are excellent - I can particularly recommend the nutty flapjacks and the brownies. Very welcoming - good facilities for children, dogs, families and anyone fancying a break.

Well out walking and exploring we came across the boathouse on a wet grey day. Very welcoming and pet friendly also the food was great and a good drink selection as well. Will be returning soon.

This is the best cafe, being gluten free intolerant and vegan there are options. The staff is always accommodating too. Highly recommend for dog owners too

In, I don't know how many years, we have never been disappointed. Great coffee, food and service. All the team work so hard to make everyone's visit the best. Very dog-friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. Always busy, which is a good sign.

Great location lovely atmosphere and delicious food top quality produce I would say 7 items plus toast/bread £9 all cooked perfectly , bit of an achievement on a very busy Father's day. Drinks hot all served quite quickly all staff helpful and very friendly .We will be back again very soon thank you.

Delightful lunch with my family here today. Second to none service with polite and attentive staff. I was most impressed with Gemma, the owner, who took the time to talk me through menu options for customers with allergies. I am gluten and egg free and there were many options. We all enjoyed our food, which was served swiftly and with generous servings. Lovely cafe. We will be back 💯 👍🏻

We went on a Saturday just after nine pleasant and not too busy, by 10 it was very busy. The breakfast was really well cooked, not greasy at all, good coffee and very nice serving staff overall a very good experience, will definitely revisit

Not far from Uphill beach, there is a bit of free parking if you are lucky. A very dog friendly restaurant a basis selection, scampi and chips, l recommend the Hot Dog it's amazing, fish fingers sandwiches look great too. We both had a Thatchers Gold cider too

We went for the first time recently and found it to be not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. For the price though, the size of the cake my husband had was tiny and his coffee wasn’t hot. We decided to give it a second go today as we love walking here. However we were disappointed again, my apple cake was lovely however the blondie was very dry. The tea I had arrived with the tea bag separate, no milk and not even close to a full cup. I asked for milk and for more hot water so I could have a full cup. The water never arrived and the waitress looked miserable. I’ve never been to a cafe and had to make my own cup of tea before for £2.50. We’ve decided we won’t be giving it a third try.

Expensive for a cafe, hot drinks very nice as was the chicken burger- but chips not the best. Very nice open atmosphere when weather is good.

Excellent coffee shop by the sea! They have a very good selection of delicious cakes and the portions sizes are generous. Their coffee is also very good, and the people working here are friendly and always smiling. I look forward to returning to The Boathouse!

The outside of this cafe doesn't do it justice. It's spacious, clean and modern inside. The food is really tasty and the drinks are well made. There's a good amount of choice across the menu. There's a marina opposite and access to western-super-mare's beach a short walk up the road. You can also access the cafe by walking through the nature reserve, which is a lovely walk.

Really atmospheric place. Great amount of food for a portion. Perfect stop before exploring the area.

Prices are still shocking especially in these tricky times. We visited earlier this year too. Tiny slices of cake or one blob of ice cream for a King's ransom! I guess some people can pay it but seems a tad elitist. Very warm & muggy inside & coffee way too weak - maybe another way they gain profit. Very young waiting staff dump your order on table and run incase you may like to ask a question. True shame as location is lovely. I hope another cafe sets up nearby very soon for healthy competition. Possibly had the monopoly on this area too long.

We had a lunch at Easter. Although very busy, we found a table for 4, the order queue moved smoothly, and our drinks and food were served in a timely manner. This is clearly a well organised establishment. We enjoyed our lunch. This is a dog very friendly place. Also, a very pleasant location adjacent to the boatyard and nearby campsite. Also on a countryside walk.

Love this place for breakfast or lunch. I usually have a mini breakfast as I don’t eat too much however we arrived in the afternoon yesterday which resulted in me having a “brunch”. Omg how big was this! They’re always very accommodating as I don’t like beans or tomatoes so I always swap it out to mushrooms. Lovely place in uphill with plenty of seats inside and out. Dog friendly in side too. Great for people doing for a walk or cycle towards brean down as it all connects with no/minimal cars. In the summer it’s lovely outside and they do homemade ice cream/milkshakes
