Excellent for younger children. Food is good x entertainment good for children

I have to say. The staff here absolutely went above and beyond for myself and my children. Especially Steven.. Sharon Jade. They were super friendly nothing they wouldn't do for us. And Reece who cooked majority of our food was so lovely food was on point. Especially his poached eggs. Would defo recommend

The Pie and Mash is good but the gravy needs improvement. Beef Burger is not available as we know it. The beef Patti is an add on. Rather bizarre.

Very nice dinner here tonight. I jad the chicken and the wife had the ribs. Both came with lots of fries and corn on the cob plus coleslaw and onion rings. Quick and pleasant service.

Very thing was okay, except food was extremely slow coming out.

Stopped for a quick coffee but mistakenly decided on some cake to go with the drinks. I had the sticky toffee gateaux and my with had the lemon drizzle cake. Both were enormous portions that we struggled to finish but did so because they tasted fantastic. Well worth a visit!

The wait was crazy we were told we were next to be served after an hour wait already and then continued watching other tables be served. Children were walking around annoyed their tables weren't being served. When our food arrived they looked and tasted like microwaved frozen meals. It cost us £60 for a family of 4. 4 meals and 1 drink each (that were either finished or flat by the time the food arrived)

Loud, rowdy, messy, it's a clubhouse some may like it but not for me. Sorry

We had a week break at Cooper's beach. Cannot fault the caravan, however, the restaurant is a massive let down to the site, It's looks clean and tidy, the food was extremely expensive for poor quality microwave rubbish, if you were served it in wetherspoons you would send it back. A portion of chips consisted of about 12 chips in a bowl smaller than a coffee cup, this was £3.49.. it was sent back and we got a refund. The soft drinks were priced ok, but alcoholic drinks were extortionate, over £6 for a bottle of beer The staff were a mixture of friendly to down right rude as well The toilets don't look like they get cleaned from the beginning of the day until the end. Save money on your holiday. Use the cooking facility in your caravan and take your own drinks into the entertainment area .

Disappointed that no adult pizza available on our first night due to staff shortage.

it's such ashame because the boat house could be really nice place to spend but the cleaning side of it is totally let down the food well they really do need to sort the chef out touching food without gloves eating of the plates waiting to go out the staff have no people skills the young ones shame because the site is great but the boat house is a let down

Wide choice on the menu, advised when you ordered how long the food would be, great atmosphere.

Stayed on another site & walked down beach for this meal. This was a very busy site. Very busy so long wait around 50 minutes. One order missed & needed to wait another 10/15. Polite staff. Sat outside as dog. Would do again though as treat.

The food was delicious although the dessert portion was rather small. The jazz music was slightly off putting and it was almost empty for a lunchtime.

Staff are happy and helpful. some still in training, but it's early in the season, so finding their feet still. Quick and easy food and a reasonable price. Decor in good order. menu's clean as was the table and floor

Hardly any main meals available, absolutely no desserts, when ordered took over an hour and half for us to get our food.

Great place at the end if promenade Park. Great reasonably priced food. The only downfall on my vist was one of the umbrella's wasn't working so no shade on a very hot day.

Unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Ordered food via app which supposed to include free drinks. Nowhere in the app says to choose drinks so I asked after paying, I was told that because I did not choose my drink in the app that I have to pay for my drink separately. This is our first day for our whole week stay, but definitely not using the restaurant facility after today.

I haven't had any experience like this before and I've never given a negative feedbeack about anything but what happened to me seems to be out of the ordinary. I ordered food, a juice and a glass of ice water, the glass of water was dirty as if it had never been washed and with something gelatinous in the water as if you were spit in the water, very disgusting, very disrespectful of them, and they did not even apologize as if everything was normal for them, and for this reason I do not recommend this place even if you need, be careful where you eat you can catch a contagious disease for these reasons, very unprofessional and unhygienic, the table we were seated at was not cleaned before we sat down, it was very sticky, I had to put all the crumbs aside. this is not how you want to be treated at a restaurant, given the price they charge in exchange for their services and the food they cook

Nice food, simple to order in terms of on your phone or at the bar. A little pricey on some of the menu options, but this might just be across the board where prices are going up to be fair. Quite a few tables missing numbers which should be quick and easy to fix. Staff helpful and friendly too.

It’s first time when I come here

This is part of the Cooper's Beach experience. A restaurant, arcades and entertainment area. The shop is open now after a long COVID break. So things you had to bring before, you don't have to. Just buy at the shop. It a small shop but well stocked. Prices are competitive. Staff are polite and helpful.

Only had a coffee their seems nice .Nicely Decorated .and when warmer nice seating outside .The caravan sight is nice and tidy .as was our Lodge

Was going well. About 6 people in total in the venue. Then they played the bingo announcements over the speakers but no one was playing!!! So we left shortly after that. Pity as we were thinking of staying longer. Good service and nice view.

Nice service, and food , using the App to order really helps , and if it says there is a delay or a wait , it lets you know exactly what the wait is 👍

Really awful. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because once the food turned up it was actually quite nice, but the whole place is a dump and i'd never take my family back.

Food always amazing. Staff were helpful and lovely. But please fix the app!!! We wanted to click and collect Friday night. By time we got around the app and its wasn't doing click and collect anymore it was getting late so ended up having to drive out into Colchester for dinner.

Good service and clean. Food was decent pub style food with a variety for kids too. Only downside was ordering seemed more difficult than necessary via the app with payment not working properly...suspect due to lack of phone signal. Would think the smoking area could be moved well away from the outdoor eating area as well so nonsmokers are not in the smoke and you do not have to walk through it to get in and out of the building

Well the club house bar was a nightmare with only one bar staff on a Friday night. We had to give them bank card details for open tab and C, ould pay at night of night on card or cash. 🤔. We'll we waited for over an hour to get drinks 😠kids were really thirsty, I could not belive a whole row of tables were all waiting, when they came the order was worng. Saturday got better we waited an hour and a half for drinks 😠😠 again got order wrong, then order chips 3.49 well you get a big potion at McDonald's 99p ok in club house you will pay more but really. Drinks are 50% more on every thing you buy, I don't mine paying a wee bit more but 50% more is a bit much. Tables well some staff cear table buy throwing things on floor then wiped table. O. M. G. Really. THE BINGO WAS GOOD WITH GOOD WININGS, After bingo with went to pay was told 5.00 no that's not us OK its 25.00 no that not us the people before us left and did not pay this setup is not working. After 4 attempts and four different tables they got it right which was £39. 00 Ian that was 4 wee bowls os chips at 3.49 each 😠 got a jug of blackcurrants soda water for 4 kids was 4.00 but in afternoon it was owns price of 1.40. So tonight we will just pay bingo. So this a not a good start to our holidays we will not be back. 🤔🙄

Salad dodgie. Scampi and chips and kids meals are very tasty. Certain staff member awful.

Horrible. Half the menu was unavailable, chicken was dry, they forgot the coleslaw and the fire alarm went off twice so we had to evacuate and returned to a cold dinner.

Disgusting! Absolutely no cleaning of tables! Wait half hour for your drinks and toilets not cleaned or checked in 5 hrs! Security just stood chatting to each other whist people walk around with no masks and kids ride scooters inside! This happened both nights we have been here!!!

30 min plus wait for drinks, up to 2 HOURS for food. Not enough staff to clear tables, let alone sanitize. Very poor for the main bar and restaurant on a holiday park!

Had a 45 Min wait for a table, which was fine as we where informed of this. Also told about 45 minutes for food. Again fine as been informed. 1 hour 55 Minutes later still nothing, so I went up to the bar area and see what looks like my order on the serving hot plate, told by a nice member of staff oh it's just coming now, I say is that mine that's been sat on that hot plate for a while, she wasn't sure. Turns out it was, looked awful didn't even try and eat it. Was still charged full price for the drinks. That was for starter, main meal was told not even been started, asked if we wanted to eat starter then go. 2 hours and 50 minutes wait with my very patient young children. To go back and make my own meal.

Nice on site restaurant in the Cooper's beach Parkdean resort lovely views of the sea inside and outside the restaurant very convenient if you are staying on the resort as there isn't much else close! There is a good choice of different dishes that are very tasty and good quality but can be a little dear. The staff are very nice and helpful even though they are run off their feet.

Great food, nice atmosphere. It's a bit dear but it's worth it in my opinion. Nice easy access to the entertainment facilities and it's lovely.

Nice bar and restaurant overlooking the estuary.

Plenty of room, the whole place was spotless. The staff were very polite and only too pleased to help you. The food was delicious and the portions were ample. Got better service here than in some of London's good restaurants. Great value for money. Well worth the journey. If you're ever near East Mersea, drop in and give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Even better when luke is the chef!!!
