Can't recommend this enough, Great food and brilliant value for money, friendly staff. We want back for second helpings. Would defo recommend and go back.

With so many places to eat on the seafront it can feel like a gamble where to go. We decided on the Boat House Cafe and were not left dissappointed, what a fantastic little find. The staff were really friendly and had best fish and chips in a long time and the curry sauce was a winner! Located right next to the pier its easy to find and would definately recommend to anyone. Next time I'm in Southend will definitely come back!

2nd visit to this great cafe found it by accident last year on a day trip and couldn’t wait to return. Varied menu suitable for vegetarians and kids and spoilt for choice. No frills just good grub at reasonable prices served by two ladies who obviously love what they do. Nothing too much trouble If we’re down that way again would def go again

A Very Small Cafe But WHAT an Absolutely Lovely Breakfast!! Beautifully Cooked, Good Quality Ingredients, Large Choice on Menu and EXTREMELY REASONABLY PRICED!!! Also Very CLEAN!! Would'nt Waste My Time hoing to ANY of the Others Again!! Can't Wait to Go Back..... And Take the Kids & Grandkids!!! Thank You Very Much!!

Absolutely delicious breakfast. Perfect eggs. Quick and friendly service and a great place to watch the world go by if you sit outside in the sun. Total bargain. Definitely recommend this.

Brilliant little cafe, friendly and great-tasting and great-value breakfast. Kids’s portions generous and breakfast number 1 was amazing! We’ll be back I’m sure.

My family and I spent the weekend in Southend and absolutely loved this place, they were very accommodating for my large family and always had a smile in their face, very friendly and the food and coffee was delicious. We will be coming here again the next time we stay for the weekend.

Lovely little cafe. Spent 5 days visiting Southend and popped in here every day. The first time we visited was one that made us want to come back. The staff are really friendly and you get the “local” feel with the regulars that come in too. Really good food and not over priced, considering we could have got breakfast for £9 a head at our hotel, this was definitely better in every way. Definitely somewhere I will visit again if I find myself in Southend again!

Stopped for breakfast on my way to work. Nice décor, breakfast was good but sadly it was let down by the very greasy fried slice and cold toast with cheap spread on it. I think there should of been 2 hash browns on the set breakfast i ordered but only came with 1 but these things happen. Will try again, if I'm allowed as unfortunately some establishments don't like what customers write!!!!!

The perfect place to eat at the end of a day out at Adventure Island.Very friendly welcome.Plenty of choice on the menu. Generous portions including the kids meals.Food was served hot .Very reasonable prices. The servers took time to talk to the children and they were given a lolly each at the end of the meal.Will be sure to visit again when in Southend.
