The Black Dog Deli in Waveney

We had a great experience — the staff were lovely and welcoming, and the coffee was spot on. But the real highlight was the cakes! We shared an almond peach cake, which was absolutely delicious, but the cinnamon swirl stole the show — incredible flavour and perfect texture. Truly out of this world. Ben & Karen.

Great spaces, delicious choices of warm menu on freezing day. Friendly staff. Can’t recommend too highly. Parking within 50m.

Excellent takeaway coffee, really nice. Some good looking sweet and savoury food options in the counter, unfortunately we didn't try any of these on this occasion. Friendly service and looked like a nice place to stop and while away the time. Also wanted to review their pizza served at the Lord Nelson (Southwold) - a fab menu, nice to have a more interesting veggie/vegan option on there too. We got a couple of pizzas for takeaway (ordered and collected in person) and were really impressed. Lovely dough and a decent amount in the way of toppings. Can particularly recommend the Napoli. Again, friendly staff working there. I believe you can purchase their pizza frozen at some of the delis too.

What a delightful find after fleeing Beccles where the food outlets were Weatherspoons, Greggs and cafes serving anaemic pizza. The Black Dog tasty delicious quality food and welcoming staff!

Not a planned visit but we spotted the sign on the A12 going through Wrentham. We decided to stop and try this delightful deli/coffee shop and so glad we did. Nice coffee, tasty snacks and pleasant surroundings. Well worth a visit.

Great cafe and deli lovely produce and lovely staff. Everything is beautifully presented and the venue interior is calm and relaxing.

My son and I stopped by The Black Dog after a trip to Africa Alive and are so glad we did. Great service, food, and atmosphere. Really great quality ingredients. I had a cortado which was really nicely made with good beans, my son had the bacon bagel which was cooked perfectly, and I had a lush charcuterie submarine roll.

What an amazing little Aladdin’s cave of scrummy freshly baked and prepared food, and what amazing choice! Expect to spend a long time deliberating over choices and then wondering if you’ve made the right one. FMO. Multiple visits are required. Oh .. and the staff are wonderful.

Lovely breakfast last week at the Black Dog Deli in Wrentham. Small little car park across the road so you can park up and walk over. Breakfast was very good, highly recommend the sourdough bagel.

It is great the food is delicious plus everything is homemade even the ketchup couldn’t recommend more also a great price
