Brilliant place to go excellent staff very helpful

Nice quiet pub on Saturday afternoon. Draft beer were decently priced.

Attended late for food and staff were great friendly and helpful. Portions was massive for main meals. We all couldn't finish. Only downside was the dessert that was served with cream that was off. The cheese cake looked good too. Hence the mid score.

Great service, great welcome and great food. For not too much money. I recommend without hesitation

Great wee pub took a bus load of 44 passengers unannounced and the staff were great nothing was a hassle so if your looking for a venue for a wee day trip that's the place to be

Dropped in here for a few pints. I was amazed how big it was. I had never been here before and was taken with the character and atmosphere of the place. I will return next time I'm in the area. Ps, a good pint too 🍻🍻🍻

Stayed one night had a great time friendly staff cheap drink and food was excellent

Food was great and plentiful. Was quiet but allowed us to talk. Mixed clientele with a number of regular pub goers and some eating. All very friendly.

Without customer service, we asked for a table for the whole family, then we waited for fifteen minutes and no one showed up to throw away our order. They certainly didn't pay attention to us because we weren't Scottish and also because we didn't speak fluent English. I do not recommend this place

Great quality pub grub. Pleasant staff and insane portion size. The Bull Burger was an insurmountable challenge.

Friendly staff good food and entertainment

This was always a must visit when visiting Ayr and great prices. The food when we have been able to have it was great, the steak pie is phenomenal. However, even after calling a few days before to confirm, we have arrived to find the kitchen had already closed for the day but at unpredictable times. If the kitchen is open we definitely recommend it, but don't set the plan in stone as you may find yourself looking for somewhere else at short notice.

Just been in for a pint helped a couple into the pub bye holding the door open not seeing the signs on the door and I followed them through only to be met by. the landlady who proceeded to shout and swear at me never been treated so appallingly anywhere I will never set foot in the place again

Visited for a wedding just before Christmas. Fabby wee pub with a lovely light decor inside. Brilliant space and atmosphere. Locals were welcoming too.

Popped in, on the off chance of a bar lunch. Glad we did. Excellent quality and value for money. Staff were lovely and love the double height inside, lots of space for dining. we'll definitely be back. Cheers for a fab feed x

mid age to old age pub not bad big place. Think it dose food but never tried it so cant say. Usually things on like karaoke or singers on if your into that give it a try

Great atmosphere and realistic prices.

First time here, place of meeting with workmates. Had 2 drinks, looked really nice and clean. Karaoke was just about to start, we had to move tables as he wanted to put his gear on table and chairs. Would be better if there was mini stage or dj desk for him rather than taking seating away from paying customers.

This is called the olderst pub in ayr. I like this pub. The drinks are good prices. They is lots off diffent seat to choose from up stairs and down. I have still to try the food since it has opened back up again.

Gone right down hill imo. Kitchen hardly ever open despite outside advertising and poor it is. I was there with my child for breakfast recently, ordered myself bacon and eggs and French toast for her. French toast came 45 minutes after mine, was cold and they had no syrup for it. Will not be back.

It's a bar now, not a pub. One bitter. One cider. If you want an American-esque place for food and drink this would be good. It's not what I wanted at all. Staff was nice but it sure smelled smokey after a rehab. If I lived here I can't imagine that I would return.

New and spiffy. Pleasant enough, but the menu could be had anywhere and when you're looking for Bitter look elsewhere.
