Had the pleasure of playing at this venue and it has to be one of the friendliest, welcoming places I have been. Staff are a absolute credit to the owners and the customers are lovely too. Great cocktails and a nice vibe. Thanks for having me <3

Had a great night at Bish yesterday, the staff were really friendly and the cocktails are Sooooooo good! Proper job. And they do a pub quiz I'll have to go back for!!

Poor service and bad attitude from staff. Check your card when they charge you on their magic machine with no receipt, it all goes to the staff Xmas party fund!!

Standard pub, no issue, clean, nice staff. We didn't use the toilet or eat, so can't comment.

The overweight female security person is very rude and very unprofessional. Refused to deal with a racist customer.

I have been many times and always found the place ok. Went for a quiet drink after our curry. However, it all kicked off this night, it was only 7.30pm. No idea where the bouncers were.

Bishop Blaise is a nice pub at the centre of Derby town. The services are good and the location is a not too busy part of the town centre.

We came in for lunch and a drink it was a loverly atmosphere and great service

The pub is a nice interesting location. The staff are Incredibly rude and also the drinks are rather expensive. The service is lackluster and the staff don't want to be there . Will probably be nicer in the daytime just in the evening I would avoid .

Such a good vibe! The DJ knew how to play to the crowd, our such a good variety of music! The staff are so lovely as well, good variety of drinks as well

I ordered a glass of soda water, now I don't want the water for free but £2.20 is daylight robbery!! One to avoid if you want fizzy water.

Popped in for a pre works Christmas night out. Not been in before. Not a bad place to go for a drink. Nice and friendly place with a big outside area. Would be lovely in the summer.

What a depressing pub, grey, dull and uninspiring, interior is bland, and featureless, there is an outside veranda which is 50 shades of grey. If I were suicidal, this pub may just tip me over the edge!

Been using this watering hole for many years long before its current name . Seems to be trying to change its identity since restrictions have been lifted , not a good move in my opinion . Can no longer be touted as a real ale venue sadly .

Favourite pub in Derby. Only friendly people drink here. Fairly quite but getting busier. Drink offers available the support the heat wave. Tiny tiny toilet cubicles make me laugh. Very clean. Met people who I've never met before and had a beer with them I the sunshine. Great music playing. Lovely unpretentious pub

Been here before, in the day it was very quiet. Nice garden at the back that you wouldn't know was their. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Not a pleasant experience. Tried to get served prior to dining at Bistrot Pierre. After waiting 10 mins at the bar and still not served went elsewhere. Too noisy not enough staff. Won't hurry back.

Music is the best in Derby. Indie rock type of thing with some hip hop vibes from time to type. Drinks are great, the space is neat and the staff friendly.

Not much you can say about it negatively. Good location, staff were friendly, decent smoking area, not much of a wait and drinks were decently priced compared to other places nearby. I guess the only downside is that it isn't that large of an establishment, tables can get taken up quickly. So booking ahead or getting the seats you want early is best, especially on the busy days.

Charged me 4.60 for a pint that was half full. Pfffttt.

1 star because of loud, drunk people screaming in the pub and falling over the furniture and this was early on. Staff didn't flick an eyelid. Didn't feel safe taking my family in there. Won't bother going again.

This is a favourite of mine good value drinks and entertainment especially at weekends

Went in with my girlfriend and the atmosphere was so chilled and relaxed. The staff were polite and friendly, special mention to Phoebe Smith, who were amazing at their job and made the best cocktails for us. Would definitely visit

We wasnt there long but drinks were reasonable but again it was on a Sunday definitely worth a try

Cosy and stylish pub just a walk away from the city centre. Great selection of drinks and the staff are friendly and approachable. Would definitely recommend this place.

Nice and stylish modern bar a short walk from Derby centre. Geared towards the younger urban crowd, naturally you'll find the beer selection (except fizzy lagers) to be rather undistinguished, but they *do* have three hand pumps for real ales, of which I tackled the "Dirty Tackle", which was quite nice. Not overly loud on an early Saturday evening, with friendly barmen. Quite comfy place, too. Dropped by en route to the popular micro Pub The Last Post, and didn't regret it. Decent, clean gents loo, too. ;)

The Bishop is a nice pub. It's a chronic shame that it's infested with beer flies.

Spent 2 hours here on a Saturday afternoon. Generally quiet, good range of drink choices for a reasonable price.

Favourite pub since I was 15. Different management now, several times, I'm now 41, but still a welcoming place with a huge range of people in all getting on. Preferred the dark look, but I guess it has to change with the tines.

Consistently good staff, friendly regulars, and value for money wine. Lager is often flat, outside area is minimal, and there seems to be a regular problem with flies. Too expensive for what it is, but a nice place for a pint. A local atmosphere in the city centre.
