Unacceptable Behavior from Doorman – on 04/03/2025 at around 22:00pm Disappointed I have been visiting the Biltmore Mayfair Hotel for a long time and have always followed proper etiquette when using the hotel’s facilities. On multiple occasions—over 60 to 70 times—I have sought permission from the reception staff before using the restroom, and they have always been accommodating and respectful. However, during my recent visit today ,I had a deeply upsetting encounter with the hotel doorman, an older gentleman around 50–60 years old. Despite not stopping me at the entrance, he later confronted me in an extremely rude and inappropriate manner. Instead of simply stating that the facilities were for guests only, he made an offensive and discriminatory remark, implying that only Asian guests were allowed to use them not randomly Asian from outside . This was shocking, painful, and completely unacceptable. When I tried to explain that I had already obtained permission from the reception, he dismissed it, saying that it was solely his decision who could enter or not. If that were the case, why did he not stop me in the first place? His behavior was unprofessional and discriminatory, something I have never encountered at other prestigious hotels in the area, such as Claridge’s, Conrad St. James, or St. Ermin’s, where staff always treat visitors with respect. I am extremely disappointed and urge the hotel management to address this serious issue. No guest or visitor should ever experience such treatment at a luxury establishment. I hope the Biltmore Mayfair takes immediate action to ensure all staff uphold the high standards of hospitality and inclusivity that the hotel claims to represent.

We had the pleasure of spending five nights here, and it was absolutely WONDERFUL! The staff are incredibly professional and exceptionally friendly, making you feel truly welcome. The service is outstanding. The rooms are spotlessly clean – in fact, we’ve never stayed in a hotel with such meticulous housekeeping before! The rooms are also very spacious, even when you move the twin beds slightly apart. The entire hotel, including the rooms, is remarkably quiet, ensuring a restful stay. The breakfast buffet is generous, beautifully presented, and leaves nothing to be desired. The food is absolutely delicious. The location is fantastic – just a 5-minute walk to Oxford Street, 10 minutes to Bond Street Station, and 10 minutes to Green Park Station. This hotel is definitely worth recommending!

The rooms are spacious, the service is good. I have stayed there more than once since its opening, but the strange thing is that on the last visit, I was surprised by the addition of an amount as a 5% service fee, knowing that the service is the same (cleaning the rooms and carrying bags), so I do not see any need for it, and these fees are not mentioned in the reservations. I was surprised by it upon arrival.

I got a chance to have a drink in the pine bar of the hotel, they provide exceptional service. The bar has an elegant art deco and refined atmosphere. The cocktails are amazing, they do have selection of snacks , overall the pine bar is recommended for those seeking a luxurious and inviting environment in London.

The location is undoubtedly the hotel’s strongest asset. Situated in the heart of Mayfair, it offers easy access to London's attractions and shopping. However, once you step inside, the experience falls short. The rooms are surprisingly small, especially considering the hotel's reputation. The lobby can often feel crowded and the rooms noisy, where you can hear other guests and street traffic. Another small thing, the towels, unfortunately, show signs of wear and tear, which is a minor but noticeable detail. While the hotel's decor is tasteful, it doesn't stand out as particularly exceptional.

Not recommended ❌❌❌❌❌ Worst hotel ever. I recently stayed at the Baltimore Hotel in London, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. The room was not properly cleaned, with visible dust and stains that made me feel uncomfortable throughout my stay. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected much better attention to hygiene and cleanliness. The service was equally disappointing. Staff were unresponsive and unhelpful, making me feel like my concerns were a burden rather than a priority. Even basic requests were either ignored or addressed with significant delays, which is unacceptable for any guest experience. On top of all that, the noise levels were unbearable. I could hear loud noises from neighboring rooms and the hallway throughout the night, making it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep. It felt like there was no soundproofing at all. Overall, my stay at the Baltimore Hotel was highly disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and peaceful experience in London.

Great location and Very kind door men Mr. Raul and Mr. Richard. I have visited the biltmore hotel for several times now, my last visit was last January it used to have very great service and management staff. but this time it was different, the housekeeping service was not great they used to be better, and the lady from guest relations on the phone where unhelpful The worst thing where the bed matters, are very bad I walk up with bad neck pain.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it’s my fourth time with them and overall, I would give it a five-star rating. The service was exceptional. However, I found the price a bit on the expensive side. I was also quite surprised by an unexpected service charge of £240 that was added to my bill at the end of my stay. When I booked the room, it was stated that all taxes were included, and there was no mention of this additional service charge. Given the already high cost of the stay, this extra fee felt unnecessary and confusing, especially since all charges were supposed to be included upfront. Despite the wonderful service, this lack of transparency around fees left me disappointed as I have not experienced this the previous times i stayed here.

Excellent room’s & excellent facilities in the room. The bathrooms have the japanese bidet which is great & not mentioned on their website. The family suite is fantastic. It has a king bed & 2 queens with a largeeeee bathroom & a L sofa. It was really good. I also liked that the room service upon finishing their supervisor would check. The hotel doesnt have a spa but when i asked for a recommendation they directly booked a lady to come in same day to massage me. There is a park right infront of the hotel which really helped with the toddlers when they needed to get their energy out. There are also alooot of cafes just behind the hotel and around it. Finally. The security of the hotel 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 there are 2 doors for the hotel, one from the back and one infront of the park. I really recommend this place for families +++ they provided sterilizers for baby bottles. I didnt like one thing, upon checking in at the beginning there was a guest that was fighting quietly out of frustration regarding the service charges.. upon checkout i was in the same position. This means that most of the guests agree on the same thing. Service charges are not mentioned with the fees. I paid in advance fully for 3 rooms to avoid having issues upon checking out however i had to pay 800+ pounds for service charges. (What if i didnt have that?) i think theh shouldv mentioned that upon paying upfront for the rooms.

The hotel is tidy, but the rooms are dusty and clearly need renovation. I expected it to be better than this for its prices and reputation. I stayed at the hotel twice in two weeks, separated by a flight outside London, and left my bags with them. They asked for a daily sum for each bag I left. The hotel service was different during my first stay. They prepared the extra beds I requested, in addition to providing nice baby supplies. On the second stay, I was in a different hotel that did not have baby supplies or prepare the baby bed, and they took a long time in not answering the bags after we asked for them twice. The first time they gave us a tidy room on the third floor, but it seemed to me to be run down, in addition to the fact that its refrigerator was not cold, and the water sprinkler was not working. On the sixth floor, the second time, everything was fine and it seemed to me that it was newer. I do not recommend their breakfast, the options are very limited and it was mostly not delicious. The breakfast area is cluttered and they need to be checked for cleanliness. The doormen at the door have an unnatural amount of kindness, they open our souls every time we enter or leave the hotel 🤍 The location 💯 is excellent and fantastic, everything is close at the same time, the neighborhood is elegant and quiet, and directly opposite it is a nice and well-kept park 👏🏼

I came here to the lobby bar for a meeting and the staff could not have been more kind and helpful! I was so hot and uncomfortable when I arrived but one of the attendants came straight over with a hand fan for me which was so kind and thoughtful! I would love to be able to stay here but my short experience was fabulous to say the least

Attended a FT Global Talent conference, held at the Biltmore Mayfair. It was my first visit, and I got a warm welcome, before being ushered to the cloakroom to leave my umbrella, then on to my conference room. The lobby area was well designed with good ambience. So I felt immediately at ease. Ended up enjoying a brilliant event, and making new business connections too.
