Great service and very yummy food. We needed a lunch stop on a long journey and this place was perfect. Friendly staff and good ales too.

Absolutely incredible place I broke down on my journey right next to the Bell Inn and thank god I did! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and even helped get my car off the road and into the carpark As I had a while to wait for my vehicle recovery I ordered some food (The chicken burger) and it was hands down one of the best chicken burgers I’ve had in a long time, and the chips were cooked to perfection. I will be forever grateful to the staff here for looking after me.

Love it here, always remember their saying "we don't do fast food, just good food as fast as we can" never disappoints 😋

Stopped here on the way to a yurt holiday nearby, the food was really good, we had the calamari and it was perfect. The chips were just as good and a perfect blend of salt and pepper. Worth a visit if you're driving past.

The food was good, however the service was excellent. The excellent customer service was provided by Molly who went above and beyond for our special requirements. Highly recommended.

Lovely place. A kids play park wouldn't go amiss I reckon, especially considering location for people travelling to and from Devon. Otherwise fantastic.

Sunday lunch was gorgeous, sat outside in the beer garden. Car park was large enough to park our motor home up easily while we ate. Definitely worth a visit

We visited for Sunday Lunch. We were all very impressed with the service and the huge plateful of delicious food. We were also impressed by the understanding of one party member's allergies and the effort that they went to, to accommodate this. Would highly recommend.

The Bell is an ideal spot to stop off on the A303. Great hospitality and delicious food. We particularly liked the spiced burger, and the Camembert. It was a super meal.

A great place to stop for lunch and break up your journey if you are travelling along the A303. I had the burger and added bacon and cheese ... the 2 slices of bacon were so thick they were almost like slices of gammon and resulted in a huge (and very tasty) burger. The chips are also very good. A good vegetarian choice is available and my wife would recommend the Mediterranean vegetable tart. Very friendly staff. We'd definitely stop in again if driving past.

Great lunch within 2 miles of Stonehenge without all the hustle and bustle. Best burger I’ve had in a while, the menu says ‘this ain’t fast food’, it isn’t, it is all very fresh produce, made to order and therefore may take some prep time, but look at my pictures, you will not be disappointed, I attended with 4 Americans who all said it was the best food they had eaten whilst in the UK.

Food was excellent, we only cane here because Stonehenge was closed until 2pm, we had the Steak and Ale Pie, Whitebait, Tempura King Prawns and some very good Sweet Potato Fries, a very good forced find.

Had lunch with some family today. Everything was excellent, from the service to the food! Staff so friendly and nothing to much trouble. Food was awesome. Would definitely recommend. We will be back x

I went with a large group and got to sample a little bit of everything. The food was great, and the serving sizes will satisfy. The burgers are huge. The service was great, and I see myself stopping in again in the future.

Great place to stop on the way, the service and food was faultless and who would think a little road side pub would do snails!!!! We all loved it and even tried to do the same route home and stop for lunch but was faster going home another way. The staff really make the place and we don’t regret stopping there for one second apart from cars refusing to let you out onto the A303

Just a quick stop, the coffee was delicious and certainly not too expensive. When you come from Stonehenge it is right in front of the gas station into the street.

Visited this weekend mainly to watch to watch football. When we arrived we asked if it would be showing, they were more than happy to accommodate and put it on for us! Dog friendly in the bar area and non carpeted areas. Lovely beer garden. Staff we were so friendly and very helpful. Great range of drinks, including beer and spirits. Food available, menu was a bit limited and not much varied choice however the food we did have was nice. We even tried snails which was a surprise to find on the menu considering it was quite small. Would definitely recommend stopping by!

Stunning ! After a visit to the Stonehenge site, 5 minutes by car, very nice pub. Warm welcome, excellent cuisine, the famous Sunday roast, for children a menu with choice and prices are affordable. I recommend !!!

Took my wife and kids out to The Bell for my wife’s birthday, Food and service was outstanding. Rob and his staff were excellent and really helped to make my wife’s birthday special.

Just had the best pie ever! Drove past this pub and see the car park was quite full, so I thought I would give it a go, and what a blessing that was. The food, the service, everything was spot on. Good value for money, and it was nice to be served a proper pie. With top, sides and bottoms!! Thank you to the landlord Rob for being a great host.

Stopped by on the way back from Longleat after seeing the great reviews. Definitely lived up to it. The food was top notch and service was great too. Hopefully news will spread as this place deserves to be fully booked on a Saturday.

Such a lovely place! We had the roast chicken and the roast beef and they were both very tasty! This is the first place in forever that I've liked the roast potatoes! Would recommend.😄

Stopped here 2 weeks ago,they opened the kitchen just as they were cleaning up just for us. All our food was incredible as was the service,best chips I've ever had . Thank you so much.

Wonderful experience. Tasty food and great staff. A nice respite from the Pubs of London. Here we felt at home and taken care of. After a long day of hiking up Beacon Hill, Old Sarum, and finally Stonehenge, perfect end to a great day in the countryside.

What a gem !!!! to find on our one night away to see Stonehenge. Initially we were reluctant to stay as the interior didn't appear very inviting, but there is a small snug, with a fire and comfy sofas so there we sat and had the most delicious food. This was served by such a friendly woman ( apologies as I never asked her name but she is a local woman) who made us feel at home, and told us all about the plans for the future of the Inn. We were then treated to home made deserts by the chef, delicious sticky toffee pudding and had a lovely chat. They also gave me a free glass ( I did ask!!) as a souvenir of my trip. I highly recommend taking a trip there and look forward to another visit to taste the steak pie.......

Once again, our visit was fabulous. As I have just found out I am intolerant to quite a few foods, this did not hinder my choices. They were more than accommodating and I ate a fantastic Sunday roast with no issues. It was delicious. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and make sure I was able to eat within my restrictions and not feel I am being a pain. Highly recommend and we will be back.

A great little pub with amazing food. Rob and team looked after myself and a couple of mates when we were visiting sailsbury plain for some green laning. Highly recommended if you like good food and a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Stopped here for lunch and had the Calimari, which came with a nice salad, two different dips, and was delicious. Excellent and very friendly service too 👍🏼

Amazing food and experience Went in for dinner and had a pint of cider and a coke. I had the bell inn burger and it was delicious! Really well cooked lovely toppings and perfectly toasted bun. The coleslaw was also delicious. The chips across both meals were amazing perfectly crispy and golden. My partner had the ham egg and chips and it was a massive portion. Egg were cooked perfectly and the slices of ham were thick. He also had some onion rings and he said they were the crispiest best onion rings he’s ever had. Service was top notch and the server was very knowledgeable. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Great welcome, fantastic service and delicious food. The bar area is dog friendly and there was an inviting log burner in a lounge area with settee and armchairs. Our first visit but will return. Definitely recommend

Wow, amazing food, excellent beer and friendly staff. The Bell is a friendly pub with a real fie in a snug, and a large bar area with lots of seating. They had a few beers which were well kept and the staff were happy for you to try before you buy. The food wasn't overly expensive and was very tasty with quite large portions. Thw Bell is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Friendly with a good atmosphere.

We stumbled across this pub after visiting Stonehenge. We searched for dog friendly pubs and this came up. We were treated by a lovely man who said that they reserve tables for people with dogs. The food was awesome, served in good time and piping hot. I went a bit mad and had a steak and ale pie, baked camembert and bread, cheesy chips and the crispy chicken burger.... I did share. The food was very tasty and the pie was brilliant as was the rest. Will be back for sure.

Excellent food (Steak & Ale Pie 👍) with great service.

A good meeting point, half way between Devon and London. Met with family, which included two vegans. We all had tasty meals, good choices. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Dogs are allowed on the wood-floor area, so our dog could also be included.

Lunch was needed to break up a road trip, and when the first option fell through this was picked based simply on being nearby- and what a lucky pick it was. The first thing to note was the faultless service. The second thing is the quality of the food. Standard pub grub it may appear to be, but so often the execution of supposedly "easy" dishes leaves much to be desired. Here everything is done right, with a particular shout out to the venison sausages with mash. Especially so close to Stonehenge it would have been easy for an owner to phone it in here and just rely on disappointing tourists as a source of easy money, so full credit to the owners here for not doing that.

Tasty meal, great service, able to take our dog along. Lovely vegan options too.

A family group of 10 people, celebrating a 89 th Birthday, had lunch at The Bell today. A lovely experience. The food was simply amazing as was the service. On a cold, wet day we were warm and cosy. All in all, perfect.

Lovely welcome from the guy behind the bar, drinks were reasonably priced and it had a lovely warm wood burner going. It's well situated on a busy main road opposite the campsite, didn't eat this visit but will certainly try when we are next in. Well done to all who work here nice to see a traditional pub still exists

Just stopped here on the way to London from Cornwall, such a lovely pub, had ham egg and fries, thought it was pricy at £15, but it was perfect! The lady behind the bar, Molly was friendly, helpful and made the visit even nicer. Lovely place to sit eat and rest before the rest of your journey.

I had the BEST Sunday roast Fully cooked but still crunchy veggies, homemade gravy with hints of rosemary and perfectly cooked, still warm sirloin steak. The service was amazing and fast. 10/10

We walked in recently as had a weekend in Salisbury, the staff gave us a warm greeting, even put the football on for us, great menu, lovely food and the beer was good too!

Popped in here for a quick pint whilst travelling between Cornwall and Hampshire. I have driven past here many times before and never stopped by. Warm, friendly service and a well-priced pint of 6X on tap. I'll be back again for a pit stop along the way when needed. Plenty of parking too!

The presentation of all the food was amazing, this is a pub/restaurant that cares about quality and there customers! I can't wait to go back and try something else off the menu

We stopped off here on our way home from a trip to have something to eat and stretch our legs. We were very pleased to find a lovely spot with excellent food and great service. We were very well looked after, and the food had lots of lovely thoughtful touches. Definitely recommend for a stop off.

We pulled over as this place seemed to be like an oasis on the A303. It was a quick lunch/snack stop. The pub staff were welcoming and friendly and it seemed popular with dog owners. We ordered the carrot, parsnip and thyme soup with onion rings and cheesy garlic bread. Food arrived swiftly and was obviously freshly made. A nice pub in a rural area.
