Sunday lunch is the best I've had out! Love the place.

Had a fabulous evening there last night . It was the dress to impress evening. Great value, great atmosphere amazing magic and some ace live music. If you’ve not been here already I suggest you give it a go. The owner makes you so welcome 👍

We visited the the Bell inn today for a Sunday roast and it was superb:) everything was perfect, the food, the service , the pub and the price. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic pub , curry and darts night when we were there , dog friendly , what more could you ask for ... I think many a hazy summer evening will be spent here in the country

The Bell End is everything you could hope for in a country pub: warm ambience, excellent dinks (including a local stout) and a cheerful staff. The food portions are enormous and tasty. Well worth traveling the lanes for.

Had a really excellent Sunday roast lunch today. Lovely spicey soup followed by roast pork, and oodles of tasteful veg. Good draught beer. You have a choice of "normal" size or small. The normal was ample so regrettably had no room for dessert. A really lovely village pub as it should be. We will call again, and you should too. The mains were £12 to £17 or so. Very good value as freshly cooked.

Everything you could ask for from a village pub! Friendly, clean, good selection of food and drink, live music etc etc etc. It’s great to see a landlady with so much enthusiasm… it’s paying off!

Visited first time since new owner took over n started food service few weeks ago . Very pleased , my family of 4 adults enjoyed the well prepared menu with excellent desserts. Owner has great service attitude , wine was of good quality n place is cozy. Value for money too !! Thank you Cherie !!

Watch this space sums it up. Early days for a new team with a clear vision for their future, a local pub with knobs on! I don't drink alcohol and mistakenly thinking it was closed, I was ushered in, and immediately felt @ home. A genuine friendliness pours from ALL the staff. It's real folks! Bigger inside than it looks, informal interior and a lovely al fresco drinking/eating space outside with an unexpected covered nook that doubles as a band-stand. What's not to like? A new Portuguese chef (Augusto) is on the case and likes to mingle. Cherie, the landlady, is a singer with ongoing band connections and is committed to make music part of the deal.

Only a quick lunch time stop but it looked like a nice average country pub

Communication from start to finish and with fairly short notice.. Cherie the new landlady didn't disappoint! We asked if we could have mums wake here on the Tues afternoon and Cherie agreed and laid on a fantastic buffet for us. Really appreciated by all and highly recommend a visit here.. Thank you

Nice atmosphere but the beer choice was completely uninspiring. Tribute or Langport Bitter!

Rang for an early fri eve table for food and got in no problem. Not crowded at all, and served by friendly staff. Small limited menu with some specials for dessert. Had the squid to start and southern fried chicken, chips and coleslaw which was all delicious. Decent sized portions so no room for pud. Definitely visit again.

Really friendly and welcoming staff and our server Will was great. Food was excellent quality with good sized portions and reasonably priced. A very enjoyable visit. Would highly recommend and if we are in the area again would definitely return.

Visiting the area and was recommend to visit this traditional, homely and immaculately looked after pub. Lovely homemade food and SUCH friendly owners, staff and locals. REALLY enjoyable experience! ...and thanks for the smoked cheese and free bunny bag too :) See you when you open again !

Had a lovely roast beef dinner cooked by Mikey and served by the lovely Harriet, washed down with a pint of Black Rat cider.

Great lunch out and catered well for the little toddler. Simple food done well. The garden is kept well and it’s nice to have a high chair that is clean and fully functioning.

Always friendly. Nothing too much trouble for them.

Nice steak meal on a Friday evening.. nice atmosphere.. service good.. and Cornish ales on draught.. well I’m from Cornwall...!!

Good local pub with double sided log burner for a warm atmosphere. Good food with flavour. The Sunday roast takes some beating with wonderful roast potatoes and gravey. Good value so give it a try. WHV
