Sue's Cafe in South Somerset

Proper food and proper friendly.

Had the breakfast baguette and it was very nice and very good value. My friend had the large full English and struggled to finish it.

Friendly welcoming staff & brilliant atmosphere and service big 👍👍👍 all round

Good place to stop if you're waiting for a train 'cos the Waterloo run doesn't have a buffet car or even a trolley!

Even though they were closed, they still made myself and my partner a cup of tea and helped us get a taxi. We were left feeling so welcome, and to have a cup of tea and a sit down after a long journey from London, you really made our day.

The food was great I loved it. The staff was lovely and friendly.

We missed our train on a cold, grey bank holiday morning. Sue’s wasn’t open but were taking inventory deliveries. Even though they weren’t open, Sue offered to make us coffee and let us use her pods to get out of the wind. It was an amazing haven when we were in need. Excellent coffee and friendly people. Thank you Sue!

I go here to chill out ,A Fantastic cafe Hot chocolate delicious with a biscuit,cheesy chips and their Ham salad is a must for lunch. Great value for money .Very friendly a must place to go with your friends or alone .I was made to feel welcome. Ps Delicious cake huge serving 😋

Probably the best cooked breakfast I have ever had! Really set me up for the day and great value too! Charming little cafe brilliantly run. Wish it was in my own town! Well done (oh the home-made flapjack was great for later that day too!). Thanks guys and keep it up. 👍

Good breakfast, very affordable and you get to be on your train in time

It's a small cafe near the train station. Lots of the menu for a quick bite, and well priced. It's very much a cafe menu so obviously don't expect fine dining. The staff were lovely, the place was clean and bright. Small space with lots of tables so potentially difficult to manoeuvre a pram or wheelchair, but I think they are the kind of place that would happily move things to make it work for you. There is one disabled parking bay

Great welcome/service/food all the staff are very friendly, we called in for lunch on recommendations from local people and were not disappointed. Dog friendly as well Thank you see you soon 👍

We were stuck at the rail station for a couple of hours, and what a surprise! Amy and staff at Sue's Cafe put out a really fine meal in this little space, and they are so helpful and lovely.

Well worth a pit stop if you're going that way, we stopped for breakfast good food at a reasonable price.

I've been here while waiting for a train on 12'th of May, Doesn't look like much from outside but there's charm to it. The owners ( I guess ) are very welcoming and the breakfast I had was delicious, kept me going for hours during a trip. Signed a wall too and I will be back

Essential cafe here as this is not Crewkerne town centre, even though the train station is called Crewkerne. We arrived a few months ago to torrential rain, hailstones and lightening. With over an hour's wait for our bus, the owner kindly gave us a lift as well as making us lovely sandwiches, even though they were just closing. Delicious cakes too! Thanks!

Hired for a private Xmas lunch!!! W-O-W Sue's cooking is exceptional... The quality of the food 👌, the turkey was moist, the pigs in blankets outstanding, plenty to go round, big portions & even seconds were offered. Vege & Vegan options available! The deserts are not to be missed, delicious. The staff were attentive & friendly... Martin hosting & providing the best jokes & an absundance of natural hospitality. Incredible value for money.
