We had a top Easter Sunday roast here. Service was perfect, the food portions are incredibly generous and my word, the sirloin beef was excellent. Highly recommended

Great stop on our way back home from a trip. It was a Bank Holiday, but the pub was open and even had some lovely specials. Food was fresh and delicious. A little on the pricey side, but with the lunch set menu much more value without compromise on portion. Also don't begrudge the cost with such great food. Would come again!

The Bell is one of our local go to spots for a meal out, be it dinner or a Sunday lunch. The food is always very good and the team are always so welcoming and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to someone looking for a lovely local pub!

So five Scots looking for food in a new area on a Friday night. Daughter fones The Bell and we manage to get a table. Lucky lucky us. What a fabulous traditional English pub in a lovely setting. But pretty pubs are nothing without good food and good staff. The Bell exceeds that with great food and great staff👍😁 And they take dogs. Menu has a great selection of food and when it came there was plenty on the plate. It was hot,tasty and for tired people just the ticket.The scampi was delicious,pork belly too and the ratatouille lasagne was to quote my daughter the best veg lasagne she had ever had. Our young waitress was a delight. Attentive and super smiley. So hello anyone on holiday, new to the area or a local a few miles away get yourselves to the Bell. You won't regret it. Excellent all round👍👏👏

Absolutely fantastic service and superb food, in a great village pub setting. Also, a big selection of Gluten free food, which suited a member of our party.

My wife and I have frequented the Bell at Ladbroke quite a lot over the last three years. The Bell is a quintessentially British pub set in the chocolate box village of Ladbroke in Warwickshire. The food is always excellent as are the staff. Most of the produce, particularly the meat is sourced from local farms. And, and! the place is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilet facilities. So, you have no excuse not to buy that second bottle of wine!

Went to the Bell on Saturday 8th February for a family meal for 6. Had a very pleasant evening We asked for a round table and our request was granted. The service and atmosphere was very good .The food was good but a bit expensive for what it was A enjoyable evening was had by all

We went as a family group of 12 for Sunday lunch. The food was average and expensive. Most annoyingly we had vouchers to use that we had been given at their quiz night in December (hence the reason for booking here). The vouchers were for a mystery discount of between 10% to 100% off the food, to be rubbed off on the day. Each voucher could be used for up to 6 people and we had two vouchers, so perfect for the 12 of us, or so we thought! However, they refused to take the vouchers as we were over 6 people on one booking. No flexibility at all. Very mean indeed and we won't be returning for this reason

Amazing roast dinner, with great service and atmosphere

Hands down the best fish and chips I have ever had ! Absolutely blew me away how good it was, honestly set the bar to which all other fish and chips will be measured ! Great staff , great atmosphere !

The staff at The Bell went above and beyond to make our Christmas party run smoothly! So accommodating and great communication. The venue was lovely, food was great and especially warm and tasty which is a worry when booking a table for such a large party (we were 51 people). We had the 2 and 3 course set menu and everyone was very happy with their food and every effort was made to make sure dietary requirements were catered for. A big shout out to Bonny and Nat for being such great hosts!

This is 2.5mile walk from home so kind of a local for me so been many times. Had a friend to visit from Maidenhead so we walked to the pub lunchtime to sit by the fire and catch up …. 2 bottles of wine and some bar snacks later we had to get a cab home 😂 Was just perfect. Gorgeous wine, lovely fire delish food and Poppy was just a delight. Looked after us so so well. The change of management has been noticed in such a positive way - thank you for making us feel so welcome. It was lovely to share such a lovely experience with my mate xx

Went for Wedding Anniversary & everything was superb. Friendly staff lovely food & great atmosphere. We love this place. They also have disabled toilets which is a must for me being in a wheelchair. Very annoying that so many eateries do not cater for disabled people. Will definitely be back at the Bell. Thank you. 👍

Myself and my family attended The Bell Inn last night for a meal as a surprise for a family member who is moving away. There were 19 of us in total of mixed ages. 2 meals were sent back, this was because of the poor quality and taste. The first was a steak which was extremely dry and had absolutely no flavour. The second being the fish which also tasted incredibly awful. Many others had issues with their food but having sent 2 meals back already, not many felt comfortable speaking up. I contacted the restaurant prior to the visit as a plan was put in place to prevent the lady finding out about the surprise meal however, after minutes of the said lady walking in, she was shown to the table and instantly knew of the plan therefore, the surprise was ruined. In all honestly, we felt the whole night was extremely disappointing and the only thing that made the night worth it was the company

I'm a real foodie and I have just had a Thai salmon meal that was cooked to perfection. Thanks to Sofia and Kiran. 10 stars!!!!

We were at the Bell on Friday, 20th September for lunch, accompanied by our setter Merlin. What a great experience! The ambience, food and staff…particularly the two young people serving us…were excellent. The service was speedy and friendly. Loved that our table was set up for us, especially the dog…with 3 dog biscuits and a water bowl at the ready…couldn’t ask for more…we will return!

Went to the bell friday night ordered an olive starter with breads never came mains came out and then another waitress brought out a small bowl of olives without breads it was chaos . The mains were taken back we then decided to send the incorrect starter back the main courses came back i had lamb £26 tiny meal that was cold by this time we had had enough couldnt be bothered to send it back ate it and went the owner came and apologised no offer of a refund on our £73 bill we left absolutly shocking .

My partner and I visited for the first time on Sunday, and returned with family the following Thursday. Food and service is exceptional, best Sunday roast we can remember having. Dave who looked after us was also outstanding, would definitely recommend and will be returning very soon.

Lovely village pub with comfy chairs and a wood burner. Super friendly service. Just had a brilliant homemade pie and free drink (Thursdays) 29/3 - the beef shin with horseradish mash and braised red cabbage - amazing! 13/9- more good food and 🍻!

Superb sunday lunch served here was lovely

Recently had a special lunch at The Bell for the second time in 2 weeks. Nat looked after us couldn't have been more helpful with just the right amount of knowledge and interaction. The mains were excellent, my only comment would be that the desserts were rather ordinary by comparison (Sticky Toffee and Cheesecake) something I have noticed with other local pubs - however this did not detract from a very pleasant meal. The food is fabulous. Limited vegetarian options but the butternut Wellington was exceptional. The sharing board was big enough for four, and delicious. We're doing a 24 hour fast as a result Only thing is that it is at the higher price bracket.

It wasn't mentioned that the bottle of water on the table was to be charged at an astounding £5. Only noticed when home at the top of (the bill) after a lovely meal there with friends today!!! VERY unimpressed with that crafty move.

Shocking meal, useless staff, never going back!!

A quiet lunchtime when we visited, but midweek perhaps that was to be expected. The Bell has a delightful village local vibe out front, in the bar and on the small terrace. Behind is a pleasantly decorated, and quite large dining area. Even though it was quiet, the service was only okay, nothing special. Fish and chips was generous and tasty but the salmon salad was over-leafed and could have benefitted from less feta and more salmon. Excellent coffee.

Not much to say really, everything was excellent. Waitresses were very polite & attentive, food was very nice (and piping hot) and good value for money. Enjoyable lunch in a really nice atmosphere, will definitely return.

Pleasant surroundings, clearly updated in recent years, good food, reasonably priced & personable staff. Has had its ups & downs in recent years, but getting back to it's brilliant best of 30 yrs ago. Anybody else remember the lamb hocks the size of a joint that spent 4/5 hrs cooking?

The pub itself is lovely,the staff are brilliant and very friendly. unfortunately the food prices let it down ,the sharing platter for £24 was well enough for two ,the meals they were a good size but not hot ,we did bring up about the belly pork nibbles on the platter being all fat and no meat and got a response of oh sorry ok .

Don’t normally leave reviews but we were let down with our visit here this Sunday. After reading the reviews online we had high expectations that unfortunately weren’t met. For the price you’re paying you get 2 small slices of meat (beef in our case) which was very fatty. The potato’s were hard and only slightly warm. Overall the food was very mediocre, that being said the staff were lovely and very attentive which definitely improved our experience.

Food selection not very inspiring for us, took a long time to place our order but service was fine after that. Slow cooked beef rib was distinctly average as was the fillet steak. Chicken Schnitzel was dry. Beer and wine fine. Overall on the pricey side.

Such a lovely little village pub, stopped at passing through for dinner and had the most delicious meals! Had the pork belly starter as a chefs special, fish and chips and burger and everything we ate was so yummy. Matt our server was so helpful, friendly, attentive and approachable. Would definitely visit again!

We visited The Bell Inn to enjoy their sunday menu - The roast dinner was spectacular. Generous portion size, particularly with regards to the meat, where other restaurants would often scrimp. Potatoes / Vegetables were seasoned to perfection, and the extras were tasty too. The staff welcomed us heartily on arrival, and were attentive throughout - they even provided complimentary parsnip crisp. Real cozy village pub feel on the inside too, proper family like. I would recommend anyone in the area make the trip to the Bell Inn.

Had Camembert sharer for starters, with nice pickles and assorted bread. Chicken Satay and the Cajun Salmon for mains, served on interesting couscous and rice respectively . All was very good, well cooked and good size portions, The only improvement might have been a little more paprika in the Cajun crust, but I know you don't want to overpower the delicate flavour of the fish. The lady who was front of house was lovely.

Lovely Sunday roast , But roast potatoes could have been crisper. Our waiter David was so lovely with or large party , but I thought the assistant manager could have worn a smile and been a little more customer friendly

That was a really nice pub, in a scenic location. We ordered chicken Sunday roast. We received way more chicken then we expected for the money. The food was of a high standard. The staff were lovely. Highly recommended

Called in here just on the off chance. We wanted a decent sandwich with real bread! The chicken a bacon was sooo good. My husband had a home made black pudding sausage pasty off of the specials board. Staff were excellent, wine and beer good too. Highly recommended.

OK but food patchy,slow service

2nd time visiting. Drinks order was wrong. Ordered food, it was repeated back. They got one meal wrong, and missed two items off 5 meals, had to ask for them. What we had was good but it spoilt it for a family day out. Discount was added for inconvenience. Will give it one more try.

Hadn't been for many years and certainly won't be leaving it that long! Food was awesome, service was superb. After mentioning it was my mother's birthday the day before they surprised us with an extra dessert and singing- such a lovely touch - she was thrilled. Thank you to all the staff for a great visit.

The best food and service I have had in a long time. The chicken tagliatelle was so flavorful and a generous portion. Good atmosphere in the pub itself and decor was beautiful. 100%recommend for real foodies.
